(Wow so that's what you look like! I've never seen a Criosphinx before!) Fiona would have gasped in surprise if she was human. Lexxus looked amazing in his true form! A beautiful lion-like creature with magnificent wings, she had never seen anything like it.
The both of them took flight together, he leaping in the air majestically from the roof, and she flapping her long wings beside him. At first, she was a bit more awkward at flying, her wings were flapping around in a much more sloppy way, but after a while she could feel herself getting better and matching up more to her new friend's.
It was truly amazing to be able to fly... She now wished that she could have done it more in her lifetime. Being able to see everything down below and feel the wind from beneath her wings, nothing compared at all.
"Come on, fly up here." Lexxus said to her, and she turned her neck towards him to see. He was flying upwards, and she followed him closely. As they rose up higher the feeling became even more different, like gravity was leaving them somehow. It was amazing!
"How does that feel?" She heard him ask. She noticed him having a satisfied grin on his face, and wanted to giggle at that.
(It's just... Amazing!) Fiona replied in awe. (There is really no feeling in the world like this. It's also thanks to you for helping me, I just feel so happy and thankful to have met you...)
This night for Fiona left her feeling much more different than normal. Normally she was hyper, ditzy, and all around super-cheerful, but she could feel so much more emotions take place. She felt so much gratitude for Lexxus helping her, so much awe and wonderment in flying, even fear she felt before when she was tumbling over the observatory's roof.

We could have flown for hours, if not all night. The view was fantastic, and the air was cool, and soothing. Everything made it a perfect night.
The moon was full and filled the sky as it shone down on us. The moon light reflected in different colors from Fiona's feathers. And it glinted off of my horns, making them shine blue, rather than black.
"So how long have you been at this school?" I asked her
I had just arrived not three days ago, though I had been home schooled for my whole life... I smiled at the memories of tormenting my various teachers because I was smarter than them. I laughed a little bit, then did a barrel roll to move closer to Fiona.

(I'm actually really new here! I've only been attending this Academy for a few days.) Fiona replied to Lexxus. She watched him as he did a fantastic barrel roll in the air to catch up to her. (Wow... You are so good at flying!)
Fiona was flapping her wings steadily, still loving the feel of the wind ruffling her feathers. She watched Lexxus, he looked magnificent with the moonlight reflecting off him. She wondered how new he was to the school, perhaps even newer than her?
(You're new to the school too, right?) Fiona asked him thoughtfully, (So did you go to any other schools like Chimera Academy before?)

"No, I was home schooled, but all my teachers seemed to hate me for knowing everything." I laughed. It was true, my parents sent me here only because it was said to be the best.
"Other then that, I'm incredibly new to the school." I said. I liked it here, it was different than being home schooled, and the atmosphere was much nicer.
suddenly a strong gust of wind blew me back slightly, but i fought back to my comfortable glide. I looked out into the sea of clouds, and i saw the makings of a storm on the horizon that looked pretty mean... thunder echoed in the back ground, but i was just traveling from far off.

(Oh so we're both new! I'm actually kind of glad,) Fiona replied to Lexxus, her voice in a cheerful tone. (I feel like I've already met a very great friend now, to experience the rest of the school year with.)
As the both of them continued flying through the sky together, she and Lexxus were hit with a sudden strong gust of wind, which caused them to be thrown backwards a bit. Fiona had to flap her wings wildly to bring herself back up with Lexxus, who was already back to a normal glide and now staring off in the distance.
Fiona turned her gaze towards where Lexxus was staring. A storm was brewing off in the distance, she could see the lightning making the dark clouds light up brilliantly in the night. It was a bit to far for her to hear the clasp of thunder, though she could imagine that Lexxus would have no trouble hearing with his feline ears.
(A storm coming this way?) Fiona asked Lexxus. (I guess that's why the wind has been picking up so much tonight. What should we do?)

"I don't know, but i have a bad feeling, like this storm is being caused by something.. no, some one else." I said, seriously.
I always got a shiver when other people did magic, and that was happening right now.
"Want to investigate?" I asked, i was tempted to see what this storm was, but I wasn't in the mood to start a fight, unless need be.
I waited for fiona's response.

Fiona glared at the stormy clouds up ahead. So Lexxus believed this storm to have been conjured up by someone or something? It's true that she didn't hear of any stormy weather suppose to happen in the area tonight... Perhaps it was another beast that possessed the ability to change the weather? She had read about them before.
"Want to investigate?" The Criosphix asked, a serious tone to his voice. He seemed troubled by this all, and it bothered Fiona.
(Of course!) Fiona replied enthusiastically. If her friend was curious about this phenomena, then she wanted to be able to help him find the answer.
But then she remembered, how late it was getting now... Allthough it was the weekend, it was getting to be very, very late. All of the flying they had done together had made time pass by so fast, it was really unbelievable. She could easily imagine it being two in the morning; perhaps even later than that.
(Well, actually it's getting pretty late...) Fiona said, a somewhat sad tone to her voice. She really didn't want to stop, they were having such a great time together! ( We should head back for now I think. It was so fun though!)
And with that, Fiona glided around, turning herself back towards the direction of her dorm room. She could hear the flapping of wings behind her and she inwardly smiled at that. She was happy to have made another friend at her school and to even finally accomplish flying.
