Night of the Living Movie Disaster

The night was sharp and biting at the Cinema's doors, but inside, the air was a comfortable temperature, and the adds had already started to flicker across the screen as the movies started. Z sat happily in the front row, gnawing on a chocolate bar and slurping down a bucket of soda - non diet. Ahhhh he loved the movies!

Tonight's film: Finding Nemo. He couldn't wait to see the shark scene!

Elle walked into the cinema and quietly took her seat. She had never been to a school with a movie theater before, and she was excited; deciding to come here as soon as she heard about the place. She sat in the front seat, leaning back a bit as she sipped on her soda - diet of course - and waited for the movie to begin.

Sitting in the middle of the cinema seating, Athena amused herself by tossing various snacks into her mouth. Well, she tried to toss them into her mouth, at least - most of them missed. One went bouncing off of her chin towards someone's head. Whose head it was she couldn't tell, as neither Athena as a human nor Athena as a unicorn had sharp night vision. She was partly horse, for crying out loud, and the hooven animals weren't know to be nocturnal.

Checking her watch - which glowed in the dark - the black-silver haired female relaxed and tossed another mini Twizzler into her mouth as the ads for other movies rolled past on the screen. Whoo. Friggin'. Hoo.

There weren't many people in the theater that night. That's perhaps why Z smelled the familiar odor of another of his kind in the room. A dragon? At Chimera? He knew this day would come, but secretly he wished it hadn't.

Most fire dragons knew him. He really didn't have a choice about it. Sure, there were other kinds of dragons, but he couldn't take the chance that this one wasn't a fire dragon.

Z slumped in his chair, trying to enjoy the movie. Dragons just loved royalty. He hated dragons that loved royalty. He was royalty. He didn't like being royalty.

The math was relatively simple, and he dreaded the conclusion to the problem: If this dragon recognized him, then it would be "oh I love you" this, and "can I get your autograph" that! What the hell was he, a movie star?

He gnawed on his chocolate more carefully now, trying not to draw suspicion. Nemo had just started, and he was trying to distract himself from the person next to him. Please don't recognize him.... Please!

[Elle]

Out of the corner of her eye, Elle noticed someone shift in their seat. She looked over at the strange boy. He smelled like... A dragon. Elle shifted uneasily as well. Everyone was intimidating to her, but dragons were especially. And why was he slumped like that? Was he hiding from someone. She continued to sip on her drink as she tried to watch the movie, pretending like she hadn't seen him.

Z risked a look over, and noticed her not noticing him.

She didn't notice him? Really? Not at all?

He let out a little sigh. Thank god! She was probably another kind of dragon then. Taking a deeper breath, he noticed the smell of the lake on her. Water dragon? That worked. Water dragons had no clue who he was!

Z managed to suppress his little episode and focus on the movie. Then, a piece of food hit his head, and he turned around abruptly, still slightly excited from the scare.

"Hey! Watch it!" He snipped.

He might have been a little rude, but it was only because he'd been slow to recover. Taking a calming breath, he quickly reconciled himself.

"Trying to watch a fish movie over here!" There. Some good humor. What could be better than that to make up for his snippiness? Nothing, in his mind. Satisfied, he turned back around to see little Nemo swimming. Awww, fishy! He liked fish. They tasted good.

Mizore walked aimlessly around the school grounds. She is bored and had nothing better to do. She sighed and looked around. A flyer then flew by. The wind is strong, so in order to get it, she froze it. An Ice Flyer, cool, huh? Right. No one was there, so she thought she could use her powers.

A cinema? How absurd. School grounds with a cinema. Sounds interesting though. She walked a bit and found it. Currently, the cinema was new, so there's only one movie showing. She bought the ticket anyways and got in. It already started, but Mizore doesn't care. If anything were to stop her feeling bored, then its fine.
