In a secret classroom, within the secret catacombs of Chimera Academy, with secret magical arts to keep the room sound proof and hidden, there was a secret meeting.
This meeting was one only for those of the students that received an invitation directing them here. It was a special honor to be here, because it was not only a testament to these few students' abilities. It was also a class specially taught by the best of the best in inter-species ability training.
In short, it was a mythical boot camp for all those snobby little brats that wanted it.
Dr. Rehnquist sat easily in his chair on its high pedestal above the rest of the classroom. The room was more an arena than anything else, with spacious high ceilings and plenty of underground lighting, despite the damp and dark tendencies or the earth. In fact, the room made entirely of carved stone looked almost cozy in the magic-light provided by the shining torches. Dr. Rehnquist looked over calmly at his partner in this event, a Dr. Derek Manner, and smiled to himself briefly.
"Now is not the time for scowls, old friend."
Derek only scowled harder from his high-up chair, easily able to see every inch of the room from where he sat.
"Samuel, any event that gives permission for these hooligans to use their God-given gifts in school is a mistake. I've said it before, and I'll say it now. Remember the fall of eighty six?"
Dr. Rehnquist chuckled to himself, the image of the school's prized fountain being vaporized still fresh and new inside his mind.
"Oh, come off it, man. They're just children! Let them have their fun. You and I will be teaching them this lesson, after all. We will be responsible for the training of their God-given talents."
"Yes, me more so than you..." Dr. Mannor growled irritably. Humans... Always so lax with these things... They didn't understand it like he did.
"Well, anyways calm yourself." Dr. Rehnquist said, straightening up in his chair. "I believe I can hear the first of them coming."
There was a commotion at the small opening in the cave. A scrabbling of feet down the deep, dark passageway that the invitation explained would bring them to their newest class. The invitation had all the information needed to get here. All that was required of the students was a little courage to show up.
And it seemed the first of them was coming already...

Gazing at the high ceilings curiously, Illia entered the large room. It didn't look like she had expected these "catacombs" to look. She shrugged and continued further into the cave. According to that invitation, it was something like a privilege to be here. She smiled smugly to herself. Well, it was about time someone had recognized her talents. Looking up, she let the smile fall from her face. It looked like she was the first to arrive.

Though Illia had been the first one to arrive, Athena was not far behind. Heck, the teenager could smell the musky scent of chimera from where she was! Her hooves were clopping, echoing slightly as well, against the stone floor as the dark-furred unicorn trotted into the training room, horned head held high, silver-green eyes scanning the surroundings with a hint of normal unicorn skittishness - and a little bit of the same pride. The peirced teenager had shed her disguise early into the catacombs, as her eyes (as a unicorn) made it easier to see in general, and she liked being in her natural state of awareness anyways.
Trotting into the cave-like classroom, Athena Del Nois cast a bayful eye up at the teachers. Were they going to have to change back to those stupid disguises? A lecture was not something the unicorn had signed up for, not in a long shot.

After receiving the invitation, she saw the time is right now. The invitation came at the exact same time. Geez, she's going to kill the dorm woman later on. But since it looks like she's late, she might as well teleport via snow. What a useful element she have, at least, she thinks so.
The teachers could see piles of snow floating in the air. Same goes for Illia. Then when she confirmed that this is the right place, she transformed back to herself in the corner, staring at Illia.

Upon seeing the ice-girl, Illia frowned in disgust. Of course she would be here. After all, she's determined to make her life a living hell. She turned and glanced at the other new arrival. A peculiar looking Unicorn indeed. Well since she was in her natural form and this was a secret room, she let loose her skin. Perhaps she would be able to frighten the ice-girl somehow.
A Chimera once again, she ran a claw through her silver mane. She put that Unicorn to shame, no doubt. She cast a quick sideways glance at the ice-girl before returning her attention to the front of the room, but keeping her second pair of eyes locked on the ice-girl.

When she saw Illia's true form. She's surprised, and at the same time, disgusted. She was thankful she's not a chimera. Her power is enough. She's a bit scared, but if the Chimera attacks, she can easily create a strong wall. It'll be funny to see the chimera full speed to her and ran to a wall. Then a unicorm came. She didn't stare at the Unicorn because she's did not dislike her. She looked at Illia, that spider teacher was even more scarier, so this is okay for her. And then she found herself staring at the lion head with her usual dull eyes.

Athena snorted quietly when Illia transformed; a natural reaction, considering that the chimera was part lioness. That and the unicorn wasn't yet used to seeing students - or teachers - drop their disguises so completely. Usually, hers either dropped off or sort of melted away, from what Athena could tell. Tossing her head once or twice, the unicorn trotted forward a bit, eyes drifting from Illia to Shirayuki - neither of whom she had seen before, either in their regular form nor in their human guises'. Rehnquist and Manner both shifted in their seats slightly as the students arrived. They passed a meaningful glance between themselves as they noted the scarcity of the students.
"Gets worse every year." Manner growled, irritably. He took the time to fuss with his white lab coat, straitening it out as Rehnquist rubbed down his spectacles.
"There aren't that many ambitious young kids these days, Derek." Rehnquist replied lightly. "That's why we have this class."
As Rehnquist finished his sentence, he heard the last of the clamoring die off, the final student arriving. Both teachers gave a collective sigh.
"Damion's been warming up to us already." Manner spat. "He's even decided to come the latest."
Rehnquist dismissed his old friend's mutters, looking over the rest of the group.
A chimera, a unicorn, a phoenix, and a dragon. It had been a good turn out. Very good indeed, by Rehnquist's standards. In fact, he hadn't been looking for a griffin. Always so shy and booksmart. They would not like this lesson.
Ezekiel stumbled in next to Illia, smiling slightly as he did. He was a little embarrassed about the other night, but he was in a more comfortable place now. He was alowed to be his true self, and that always made him feel more in control. More able to handle things. He stretched his neck in boredom, looking at the rest of the kids here. Oh goody. Ice princess was back. Z rolled his eyes as he stood at attention, waiting.
Rehnquist stood from his chair, going to the balcony of the upraised platform.
"Welcome!" his voice was rich, old and refined. "Welcome all to this, our first supernatural training session!" He motioned for Manner to come up, but the grumpy phoenix remained rooted to his spot, waving the responsibility away to Rehnquist. He turned back to the group. Oh well. He was only the school doctor.
"Now, before we begin, I'd like to explain the significance of this meeting. This, as I'm sure you've noticed, is a class made only for non-human students. It is a lesson in your culture as creatures of fantasy. It is a course in discipline from your very own lineage. This-" Rehnquist said, holding his hands up merrily to showcase the room, "is your chance to be what you really are, without your magical disguises. We've taken the liberty of calling it the 'test drive' if you will, of your species' gifts."
With that, Rehnquist sat back down.
"Now, first thing's first. All present must give us a little about themselves, as this will be a recurring class, and we'd like to know your names, and - if you wish - some of the reasons you think you've been invited to this prestigious class."

She sat down on the last row in the corner this time. The teacher gave them quite a long speech. She guessed she caught up. She don't know, but she didn't bother to look at them anymore. It's just the same human face. Or rather animal face.
The teacher later asked for them to introduce themselves. For that, she kept quiet. The teacher already knew her name after all. She don't wanna hurt her brain by thinking why she was sent here either.

Illia smiled as Z stopped beside her. She purred softly to let him know she was pleased by his presence. As the teacher asked for introductions she looked at the others, not expecting anyone to step up. She took a small step forward.
"My name isss Illia Alcarin," She began with a smile, "And I've been invited... Well, becaussse I'm more talented than any other Chimera in thisss ssschool."
Her answer was simple, but she knew it was true. She took a step back, her feline grin now with an air of arrogance.

Mizore can't believed that this girl said she was the best. Hell yeah, the best. In Mizore's point of view, she's the best at talking big. For her reward, Mizore froze her tongue, her tail and her four leg. Not that kind of cold feeling, it's literally ice. Ice blocks surrounding the part she froze. If she move one step, she's gonna slip because of her icy leg. She made it extra slippery and watery. Yeah, sure, Z was there, so he could heat it and melt it. But before he could, the ice is going to hurt that chimera's bone.

Illia growled deeply, quickly unfreezing herself. Her head snapped toward the culprit. The ice-girl, no doubt. Her tail attempted to focus on it's aggressor, but she found that her sight had become bleary from the ice. She bared her teeth at the girl and judged the distance between them. She could make it in two strides, easy. However, she decided against it. At least, not with teachers present.
If you wanna play, then try playing with fire instead, She thought to herself.
Her smile returned, however, she didn't look away from the ice-girl.
"What I wouldn't give for sssomeone to thaw out the ice-princesss," She muttered, loud enough only for Z to hear.

Z only smiled, the wheels of mischief already turning in his head. He understood this to be a prestigious thing. One of those fancy-shmancy things that he was always bolstered into. He stepped forward, his wings settling perfectly along the spinal line if his back, and spoke proudly after Illia had gone.
"I'm Ezekiel Christopher Damion, the one and only, and I'm here for one of two reasons. The first, my parents bribed the school board-" He looked meaningfully up at the teachers, both of which regarded him without a sound. That bothered Z. Usually, that was just the thing to get them howling... He continued from there, undaunted. "or, someone in the faculty put in a good word because they've heard of my record."
By record, he meant the various brawls and tricks he had done with his powers throughout his years of bouncing around schools. They were underhanded, but you had to admit - if he'd only been called on half of them, and of that half, people had only realized he was a dragon and not just a pyromaniac twice, then he had to be doing something right.
After his truly amazing speech, he stepped back into line, giving Illia a little wink of approval.
"When I get done with her, she'll be making puddles, not snow storms."

Athena snorted again - this time in blantant disliked of Ezekiels' show-off attitude - and butted herself into the conversation. Not literally, of course - her horn would have worked much better for that, had there been need, but either way she spoke before the others could respond, tail flicking slightly in distaste as the melted ice-water from Illia legs and tail pooled and spread out as it melted - thanks to Illia and Mizore's little rivalry, of course. Already the unicorn felt herself disliking the duo.
"I'm Athena Del Nois. And I think I was invited here because I'm about the only unicorn in this school who isn't so prissy and worried about their buffed hooves." She cast a glare at the smug Pheonix flirting with Illia. "Not because my parents bribed the school."

(OOC: Z's the dragon, by the way ^^)
Illia barked a laugh and sidled closer to Z before the unicorn interjected herself into the conversation. She said her name was Athena. A pretty name, Illia conceded. She then suppressed the urge to speak up at her last words, instead, she only sighed. The last thing she needed right now was another enemy.
The sight now fully returned to her tail, it twisted around to lock the ice-girl in it's sights. Upon locating her, it emitted a low hiss, baring it's fangs. With her main head, she licked her right front paw in a detached manner and waited.
