((Eh..uh....Mizore doesn't know that she's a pheonix yet...and why does the school already knows...? If its that student profile thing...the students....>.>))
Something tells her that the unicorn disliked her, too. Well maybe the unicorn likes the two of them flirting, so there. She's the "outcast" type to them. Mizore sat there minding her own business. She had enough of bugging Illia. She made a shaved ice and ate it alone. This room is too hot, so she changed her body temperature. Notice cold steam coming out from her.

((ooc: The school knows ALL XD , but don't worry. The teachers aren't going to spoil your secret for you!)) Z smiled warmly at the new unicorn girl. Kinda cute, but not as cute as Illia. He liked the fact that she wasn't another of those prisses too. All prissy unicorns were good for was cheerleeding and adoring the jocks - him being the best, of course. (lol conceited) Well, maybe not the best yet, but he would sure prove it when the school caught wind of his reputation and had a little more taste of his fine work. She didn't seem to like him at first glance, but Z was never one to make enemies. Not even the ice girl was an enemy. Just an obstacle. He tipped his head at the unicorn in a display of peace, but was brought back to attention by the sound of Dr. Manner's crude voice. "As much as you younglings would love to carry on with your socialization, this is a serious lesson, and should be treated as such!" Rehnquist stepped up to the balcony, resting a hand on Manner's shoulder. The agitated phoenix quieted down. "As Dr. Manner has said, this is a serious occasion. We will now impart to you the secrets of your long lost cultures. You, the few and proud of your races. Now, please prepare for the test." Before anyone could react, Manner clicked a button on his chair's armrest, and an arena of mythical proportions exploded from the ground. "Happy hunting, kiddies." Manner smiled, and clicked another button. The arena was pockmarked with every conceivable obstacle. There were icy patches and potholes and flames broiling up from the ground in huge steamlike vents. Spikes lined the edges of the arena, keeping everyone inside the court, and an electrical field shot up down from the ceiling and prevented anyone from escaping the huge dome that was created. But, all this was activated by only the first button that Manner had pressed. The second let up something much more dangerous... A troll: "Be careful!" Rehnquist called out, from the safety of his chair. "And please preform to your utmost abilities! Teamwork helps!" With that, he sat back to watch the show. Manner was cackling madly, and Rehnquist couldn't help but wonder if he enjoyed this part of the test just a little too much... "Phoenixes." He muttered.

Adrenaline surged through Illia's body and excitement overcame her. She was never one to go around battling other creatures just for the fun of it, but that didn't mean that she didn't love a good hunt. Her feline face curved upward in a broad smile and she let her tongue fall out in a decidedly dog like manner.
Fast as lightning she bolted to another side of the arena, being overly cautious to avoid the flames. She skidded to a crouch, red eyes locked on her target. She stalked forward slowly, both of her tongues tasting the air, analyzing her prey as she contemplated the best way to attack.

"Oh, yes, give the four students who actually bothered to show up a troll to defeat, that's a good idea!", Athena snorted decapricatingly towards the teachers - safely seated far enough away from the stupendous arena and the bloodthirsty troll to escape scathing, of course. Typical teachers! Not to mention the one that was outright cackling - like this whole place wasn't creepy enough, oh no - now the teachers were evil! 'Great. That's just wonderful.', the dark-coated unicorn thought, while gaugng the distance between herself and the troll.
Athena paced forward, then skittered back, sides heaving and eyes rolling in the demeanor of an actual horse, as a blast of flame ignited about a hair's length from her nose. Now was one of the few times that Athena wished she were a pegasus unicorn - one with wings, that is. The buck teeth and tendency to bray like a mule she could do without. [/size]

Z jumped as he saw the troll appear.
"What the?!"
He heard Dr. Manner cackling, and looked up at the balcony angrily. Teachers... Thought they were better than him, did they? Thought they could mess with him with this big brute of a monster, did they?
Well, he was never one to decline a good, clean fight.
He squared his shoulders to the huge beast, the spikes at the top of his head raising and the smoldering pattern on his back roaring to life. He lowered his head to a charging level, hot magma gurgling in his throat. He could feel it now. The call of battle. Illia had already mobilized, and he thought he'd do her some use and distract the thing. Head on stuff was his strong point anyways.
"Over here big boy!" He growled, and with his head lowered and his neck braced he rammed the creature full throttle, putting all his armored muscle and sinew into it. The troll responded by swinging its huge mace at all of them, making a big, sweeping arc in the air.

Seizing the opportunity, Illia pounced on the creature when it's mace reached the highest point. She targeted the troll's arm and seconds later her ice-cold claws dug into it's flesh. Before the beast had time to respond she bounded away toward the other end of the arena.
She landed upon an ice-slick and slid uneasily for a moment before she unfroze the ice beneath her with a growl. Having to focus on attacking the troll all the while avoiding these hazards, Illia snorted. She would be able to take the troll - all on her own if need be - however, these obstacles might prove to be a bit of an annoyance.

Out comes a disgusting ogre after the place appeared. Ooh...Ice Obstacles...how nice. However, even though that made her so ever slightly happier, she stands back watching the ogre swinging her weapon. Illia just pounced on it and slipped off. Didn't she said she's the best Chimera around here? She would have finish it off, even though there is obstacles. Too bad she can't escape now. What a pain.
Now she's wandering whether she should help or not. She dislike the two of them. And melting the ice seems like helping them. Besides is she melted them, more obstacles would come, the water. So she's stuck there thinking, looking like she doesn't care at all.

The troll was easy. He could handle it. It wasn't like it was hitting him or anything, was it? Oooh. He didn't know! He couldn't see the mace! Z looked up, ducking aside just in time to feel the iron spikes of the mace scrape across his hard scales. Figures it'd get wise and try to stop him. The troll reared its head, bellowing at the wound inflicted by Illia's quick attack. Instead of chasing down Illia though, it decided to take all its anger out on Z. It wrapped its arms around his body, and lifted him into the air. "Ack! Someone help me out here!" Z flailed around in the troll's arms, his belly to the air and his wings dangling. The way he was built, if he was flipped over like this he really couldn't get a good grip on his attacker. That really hadn't been a problem until now though. No other opponent had been big and strong enough to actually lift him! He caught a quick glimpse of Illia sliding across a slick of ice, and that did it for him. This troll was going down. * * * "I'm telling you, this is hilarious!" Manner shook with laughter, watching them all jumble around the troll like they didn't know what they were doing. "You are a troubled soul, aren't you Derek?" Rehnquist shook his head, his spectacles wiped clean with a flick of a handkerchief. "It's not my fault that these brats are finally getting what they deserve." Manner shrugged. "That one down there, Shirayuki, she froze the lake that other day, and that one Illia helped her! Children these days... That Athena probably has some secrets of her own that the school board hasn't even caught on to yet, and don't get me started with Damion down there, flailing like a fish out of water!" "In any occasion," Rehnquist said dismissively, "how do you think they are fairing?" "Eh. They aren't dead yet." Rehnquist frowned. "You're the doctor, man. The last thing I need is the doctor of our fine school to look for fatalities." The grumpy phoenix only shrugged again. "You'd notice it. Aren't you the one who takes the heat if any of them gets hurt? Sure, I fix the bones, but you have to deal with the parents." Manner shuddered. "Ah, I hate parents. Big nasty creatures, breathing fire and demanding to know why their little baby has a scraped knee." Rehnquist tipped his head to the side in agreement. "It does take talent to work with them. I'll place my bet on the ice one." "Shirayuki? You sure? She hasn't even started fighting yet." "She will. Who do you pick?" Rehnquist asked calmly. "Damion. He's an oaf and a vandal, but he's also a violent bonehead. He'll get into one of his fits and send the troll scurrying." "Ah, but what of the obstacles?" "True. He's never been one for coordination. I change to the unicorn. They can get feisty when under pressure." "Too true."

Shirayuki watched as Z got lifted up. She wondered, why would he needed help anyways? She's guessing he's asking for the unicorn or Illia. She thought of she should just get over this and go back to sleep, so all she did is melting the ice obstacles. Should make things easier, right? Then she used the water and froze them, then made it to some kind of a knife. She controlled the Ice and made it crush the other obstacles.
There, more free spaces.

Illia watched the troll uneasily, shifting her weight between her feet. The way that it and Z were positioned... she wouldn't be able to get a good attack in. She cast a quick glance toward the others. Athena looked as if she were about to faint and the ice-girl wasn't about to do anything. Looks like she'd just been playing with ice again. She shook her head, growling and stared at the troll. Instinctively she let loose an earth-shattering roar.
She charged full-speed at the beast, sinking her fangs and claws into it's side when they collided. The three of them toppled over into a mass of skin, fur and scales. Upon hearing the troll's shriek of pain, Illia hurriedly tried to disengage herself before it turned on her. She didn't see the mace. She only felt the explosion of pain as it collided with her side. It sent her sliding all the way across the arena.
"Damn it!" She managed to say, wincing in pain.
Shakily, she struggled to her feet. She was panting as she looked upon the beast; a fresh wave of anger overtaking her.

Z lurched to the side as Illia slammed into the troll. Before he could turn his feet to the ground, he had been impaled into some nice sharp spikes on the floor.
"Youch!" He cried, wriggling up. His scales had protected him against serious damage, but he could feel the steaming hot blood surface and trickle down his back. He turned around momentarily to take a look at the wound. Oooh. That'd hurt tomorrow.
"Illia? Where are you?" He whipped back around, hearing the sound of something hard hitting something else not as hard. He saw the mace scrape across her side, and a little curl of steam escaped his nostrils. No one hurt his friend. Not even a big ugly troll.
"You're just asking for this..." He growled, anchoring his feet and bowing his head nearly to the ground. His black jaws opened, and the smoldering inside of his mouth could be clearly seen now. The faint glowing cinders on the inside got brighter, and a second later a rushing hiss gurgled out.
Fire spewed forth, white hot and blinding. It hit the troll square on and forced it to shield its sensitive eyes. It swiped at him, missing but coming a little too close for comfort. Z rose up on his back two feet, and with a huge swipe of his wings he was airborne. He circled around the momentarily blinded troll, getting in one more quick blast to the top of its head and shoulders before darting towards Illia.
The troll roared in agony as he landed.
"Are you alright?"
The concern in his voice was evident, but there was an exited smile stretched across his face that he just couldn't seem to shake.
"You don't need me to bash it around a little more for hitting a lady, do you?"

She was panting as she looked up at Z, every breath feeling as if a handful of needles were being pressed further into her side. Her eyes shone like fire and a disgusted snarl was fixed on her face. Bloody Goddamn troll! It was going to pay for this! She was going to make sure that the beast would be unrecognizable by the time they got done. She'd rip it limb from limb and hang them from the tree branches. She'd pierce it's head on a spike and decorate her cave with it. She'd make a necklace out of the bastard's fingers! Her anger rose ever higher with every thought that crossed her mind.
"Bash it's Goddamn skull in!" She spat, a short barking sound accompanying her words.

Z's smile only broke into a jagged, toothy grin.
"As you wish, m'lady!"
He whirled around, the spikes across his body standing on end, the crackling patterns on his back roaring to a fiery life. The troll was still blind from his previous attack, and he took this advantage by tucking his wings in and ramming the thing, just like he had before.
Only, this time he was all teeth and claws. None of that pansy football tackling would do.
Muscle clashed against scaly plates, tendon strained and bulged in an effort to keep stable ground. The troll tried to lift Z again, but he was ready this time. He dived low, raking at the troll's ribs. It let out a bellow and slammed its mace down on his back. He gave a little, feeling his legs tremble under him, but snaked his long neck to the side and sunk his teeth into the troll's shoulder, letting out a hiss of hot steam. Then, his tail came around back, tripping the troll up. It landed with a shuddering crash on the ground, flailing and snarling with the dragon right above it.

The situation ain't getting any better. She's going to fall asleep any moment soon. But she thought of having a comfy bed, but its not even comfy here. So she'll help them out, just for this time. The reason is because she wants to get back.
She stood up, brushing the dirt off her skirt and created a long sword made out of unbreakable ice. It's sharp and unbreakable. She just hope the troll's skin is not that thick, or she'll have to enchance the weapon. She walked to Z despite the dangers thats happening and punched his shoulder. She don't wanna tap on him without saying anything she showed him the blue sword. Then she went back to her corner and observed the fight. That weapon, she hoped it won't break, no, it won't break, she hoped the ogre's skin is not thick. For a guy like him, he must know how to use a sword, right? If not, then she's gonna kill him.

As the troll fell again, roaring and wounded, Athena saw her chance. Right there, his Achilles heel - even giants' physiology wasn't so different from humans that they didn't have alot of the same weak points. Well, that and she didn't really want to gouge out the things' eyes - that would jus be disgusting and going a little too far. Stamping her hooves, the black unicorn charged, equine war cry echoing in the chamber as she did so, silver mane and tail trailing behind.
The troll roared again, and tried to clutch at it's heels and protect it's face at the same time from her attack on his ankles and Z's attack on his shoulder and legs. Between the two of them, really, she almost felt sorry for the mindless creature. But what, exactly, did Shirayuki - with ice sword, just standing around - think that her weapon was going to do? A dragon had more blunt power than any sword, and it wasn't like those claws were just for show, either.
