Not real? That made slightly more sense. Taking a sip of the water, he could taste the fake. Yet, as Whisper had said, it did help. Looking around at the trees, once more remembering the vampires, he nodded. He had the urge to say more, but he forced himself not to. If things were going to work it wouldn't be because of anything he said. Everything was out of his control, out of everyone's control. That was life. Something that he hoped Whisper wasn't overlooking was the fact that he had given him two ages, both really far apart in amount. It was a 50/50 chance for both ages. No one could tell if she really would live to be a thousand or only half of that.
Nodding, he said, "You choose the time and place and I'll make sure she and I are there."

Kendryek stood. He offered his hand in a parting gesture. "It was nice to meet you, Hossuru Whisper Hikaze. I will see you in two days in the woods. After all, Chasity must have at least a little bit of time to digest the realization of our separation." This was definitely the right thing. He had never felt so confident in the person he was allowing his precious girl to be with. If it didn't work out, it simply didn't, but it wasn't wrong to offer Whisper the chance at a relationship that could change his life.

"I hope things goes well..." he said, shaking Kendryek's hand "When you talk with her...". After he let go, the chair disappeared and he lit a kitsune-bi on the tip of his finger, to light his way. Anyone else would simply see a flashlight in his hand.

Kendryek watched him leave. Slowly walking back to where he had originally been sitting, he retook his seat and stared at the clear sky and the bright moon. He hoped it would go well when he told Chasity, too.
