The pure white moonlight coat of a kitsune was hidden by the thick shrubbery. She darted through the bushes and watched her prey. A bunny with a cheasnut brown coat was just beyond in the field. She waited, Laying low, until she was sure it was the proper time to strike. She lunged almost soundlessly out of her hiding place. Although the bunny tried to get away, although its form wormed and screamed, Draner bit down hard on its neck, killing it.

Unceremoniously, she ate the rabbit and began to clean to blood off her face and coat before skulking off to try and find another small rodent to eat. The rabbit had been fat and full of tender meat, but she was still hungry. She wanted something more to eat. Perhaps she could corner a shrew or mouse.

Draner looked around until her nose caught scent of something weird. Perhaps there was something odd nearby? Maybe there was something in the Centaur's Woods that wasn't there before. She couldn't imagine what. Nudging her way through some bushes she managed to climb up to a familiar perch above a clearing. Looking around, she couldn't find anything amiss from the Woods.

Still, she waited.

Perhaps there would be some new prey.

Watching quietly from a higher branch Zeus observed the new creature in the peaceful woods.
he found it very amusing watching her hunt; she seamed good at it.
almost as if it were an art form.
Zeus
i wonder were she came from?
then again i dont see many others down this deep in the woods ether.
but there is something diffrent about her i just dont no what.


striving for a closer look Zeus hopes to a lower branch like a feather falls to the grownd.
now with in arms reach and she didnt even seem to notice or didnt react. but luckly for his dark furry he blends perfectly.

[Anzeh]

Draner's nostril's flared as the smell got nearer to her. After several moments looking from left to right, she pinpointed the smell as being right beside her. Some time, perhaps a minute or two passed before she turned and looked directly at the source of the smell. She didn't feel threatened by the smell. In fact, it intrigued her. The source, she knew, was too large for her to feel comfortable hunting it. But even so, it'd be nice to have someone to talk to.

Turning decisively towards the source of the smell, she jumped over to a closer branch and reached out towards it, expecting not to touch anything. She expected the other to run off, because that was the general response by things she reached out towards--friend, foe, or prey. It didn't seem to matter very much.

There was something about this female but Zues couldnt quite get it.
not sure to ether trust her or fear her zeus nodded his his head in a friendly gesture.
at least he was in his own woods.
he could vanish in a bink of any eye if he needed to.
but something made him want to stay.
something put him at peace.
was this new magic? a charm perhaps?

but out of the conner of his eye he sees a plump bird setting a nest.
as natural instinct kicked in he attacked.
jumping fast and swift.
so fast intact the bird didnt have time to react.

but for some strange reason he dieceded to share the bird with the strange female

Zeus
what am i doing?
i havnt had a good meal in many days yet im sharing with this random person.
i must be growning soft.
or maybe there is somthing to learn here.

[Anzeh]

Draner watched unflinchingly as the other lunged out and grabbed a plump bird sitting in its nest nearby. Poor little thing--she found herself pitying the little birdie, even though foxes like her eat them in times of scarcity of their more favorite foods. She was surprised when he offered some of the plump bird to her. Gently she regarded the bird and bit off its wing. Satisfied with this, she nudged the rest towards him and jumped from the ledge, landing softly upon her paws. Looking over her shoulder, she watched the boy for a little while and gave a faint smile, allowing her three tails to twitch a little before she continued on into the brush. Her body language, though she said nothing, spoke volumes. It said that if he wanted to hunt with her then he was fully welcome. After seeing him trap the bird, she decided that he wouldn't be a hinderence.

as Zeus watches the fox starting to leave he quickly ate the rest of the bird and dicide to folow
what harm could it do.
who knowes maybe he could finaly make a friend.
A friend.
what a strange word it seamed to him
have i ever had a friend?
what makes a true friend?
why must i have no memory of my past.
its all blank as if i were born yesteday.
yet i have skills and powers as if i have been training sense birth.
what a strange feeling this is.
but now i have a chance to start a new life what ever my old one might be.

[Anzeh]

Draner looked behind her to see the boy was following her. She paused to wait for him to catch up to her before continuing on her way. Finally, she spoke--her voice was gentle and quiet, so as not to alert any potential prey. It also gave the fals impression that she was shy and unable to fight for herself, bu he had seen her trap that rabbit. No one with her hunting skills could be considered unable to fend for themselves.

"My name is Draner. What's your name?" She asked the chimera. He body sunk low and her entire body became fluid and almost snakelike. Every movement was calculated, as she slunk slowly out. She was near another rabbit. She slunk out of the brush, and the rabbit didn't even turn around. Slowly, slowly, carefully...

She pounced, trapping the struggling rodent under her paws. She snapped its neck and brought it to her new chimera friend.

after seeing her catch the the prey Zeus just starred for a little bit.
its been so long sense he has talked he was scared of not remembering how to.
finally he said im Zeus.
then left to find his own prey for his meal.
some time past and he found a huge buck.
knowing that a head on attack would end poorly.
then remebering he still had a couple tricks up his sleeve
that said he sat down.
then entered a trance like state
after a long time of nothing the buck randomly died.
when it died he went to find his new friend being he couldnt drag the big deer.

[Anzeh]

Draner settled down in the grass and began to eat the rabbit she had caught and killed. Vaguely she wondered where the chimera had gone once the bones were cleaned off, she saw the Chimera, Zeus, come back and take her to his kill, a full grown buck. She was stunned. The brit examined the corpse, looking for some kind of wound or indicator of his work. Draner saw none. But she wasn't about the undermine him if he sed magic to kill the animal, which she couldn't smell. Thanks to that, she smiled and nodded towards him. He had earned her respect as a hunter. Now, if only he could gain her respect as a mystical being.

seeing the look of suprise on Draners face made Zeus smile.
he had done something right for once in his life.
two in fact he made a new friend and impressed her.
he was feeling that today was turning into a great day and threre was still time to burn.
but what els was there to do hunting was fun and all but he wasnt about to for the fun of it.
maybe a game?
Zeus
i got it he thought to him self
quickly eating his food he turned and wacked (playfuly) Draner with his tail and run a little ahead.
then turning his head he gave a glance that said catch me if you can.
Zeus ran up a tree and disapperd from sight.

Draner was looking around, engaging Renard in an interesting mental debate. Renard, considering himself the master of all relationship statuses that ever will exist and ever can exist deemed himself as knowing that their relationship would blossom into something very beautiful. Of course, Draner denied it with every fiber of her being. She'd just met this guy, no way she was thinking ahead to things like that. She might be mean, but she was no slut.

When she felt something whack her lightly, Draner turned to see her new friend running away. She knew that they were playing a game now that they had both had their fill of food. This seemed like it could be fun. She chased after him. Using her substantial agility she followed him up the tree, right on his fluffy, foxy tail.

Zeus paused a sec to see if the foxy female was behind him and sure unuf she was right on his tail.
so he started jumping from tree to tree and branch to branch trying to if he could out run her.
but she kept right up with him.
at some points running along side Zeus.
she had amazing grace and didnt look half bad ether.
what a day this has turned out to be.

[Anzeh]

The kitsune wouldn't be out ran. Draner had dodged traffic in the bad parts of london town, she had outrun police chases down in Florida, and she had signed up for track at the school. She took her speed very seriously, and she didn't stop until she'd gotten what she wanted. At one point, while she was tailing him, she lunged, in an attempt to knock them both out of the tree in such a way that neither of them would be hurt when they his the ground. Draner would grab him in a way that made them both roll.

As they hit the ground rolling so that pain was absolute minimal, Draner had the chore of disentagling herself from the chimera. Once she was free, a triumphant smile grew on her face. She smirked as though to say, "Now you catch me" and she ran off.

Now watching the vixen run off he pursued her in the chase.
but little did she know that Zeus had lived in the woods as far back as he can remember. He new every twist and turn every root and tree.
so he followed the fox for a little bit than ran off the path.
Now above the Darner he ran along the top of the trees.
seeing her turn and smirk made Zeus laugh.
he put on a smile to say you haven't gotten away yet.
now dodging and swerving between vines.
out of no were he pounced.
and landed on Draner both fell to the floor with a thud.
taking a bit of time to recover both creates stand up
then out of no were Zeus fall down laughing

Draner was not from around here. She was born in England, and even then, she didn't move to the states til' she was ten. And only late last year did she come to Washington to attend the academy. But this was where she hunted and spent her nights. Though she was always discovering new twists and turns down her normal stalking grounds, this place she had quickly learned. Of course, not in the detail that her adversary knew it. Maybe she could give herself a little advantage? Put up a little bit of her illustrious glamour and hang it on the trees so that he lost himself? No, that took the fun out of it. She liked it better au natural.

She made it a pretty good distance before she checked behind her to see how close Zeus was, only to realize that he wasn't behind her at all. This made her slow to a stop. As she paced around, trying to find his scent, it suddenly overwhelmed her as he came from absolutely no where and pounced on her. Draner laughed at her own foolishness. She should have known better than to stop running. She had sealed her own capture.

Once Draner managed to disentagle herself (again), she shook herself free of grass and leaves.
