It had been saphira's first day at chimera acadamy, She had arrived off the train and hastily had found her dorm and unpacked before classes had started and been silent all day even through her lessons she had chosen to seclude herself from everyone at the back of class her pure blue eye's either fixed on her desk before her or taking in what she could from her textbook's and finnaly when her first day had come to an end she retired back not to her dorm but outside as soon as classes were over to the courtyard still wearing her blue dress.
The teenage witch sat alone on the fountain's edge her legs tucked under her as she stared in silence at the water rippling away as the cascade's of water from the fountain fell into it's basin only to repeat it's everlasting cycle... She was a long way from home, Not that she knew where her reall home was nor that she thought she would ever know where she was from or who her parent's where...
She didn't feel sad or alone though, She felt nothing of the sort. Such feeling's she had become so used to it was like they didn't exist to her. Such was her reasoning for distancing herself from others so much, She knew all to well how people could turn on you for being differant, A freak like her. Even though she knew the secret that this was no ordinary school her fear of getting close to anyone still remained.

Trudging along the cobbled entrance to the fine establishment known as Chimera Academy, Le Cyll fancied himself as looking quite the depressing soul.
On the contrary, he was quite happy today. Giddy even. He just might seem depressing because he did not properly display his happiness as most might like him to. That was alright though. Happiness was a commodity obviously much more abundant in other people's lives. If they wanted to waste all that precious positive energy on such things as skipping and smiling, it was of no concern to him, but since he himself did not want to use up something so valuable, he chose to keep it locked in for himself to enjoy.
He did not need others profiting from his jolly moods. They could make their own joy, could they not?
And so, on this happiest of days, he did not reflect this happiness in his unusually lifeless demeanor, but only felt it as he moved along. He had no classes to go to, and curfew was drawing very close, but he didn't mind. He did not sleep so well, so why should he be cooped up in some room? The vampires at that hotel did not like him much anyways. Apparently word had got out about his previous exploits. He did not see why these creatures should bear such ill will against him. He and they shared something special.
They both liked to eat people.
Stopping in front of a nicely gurgling fountain, Le Cyll admired the way the last blankets of daylight made the water sparkle and gleam. It was only after a moment of quietly staring did he realize that there was someone else doing much the same.
"You're new here, aren't you?" Le Cyll asked, politely. He had never smelled this girl before, and he'd think he would have remembered a human. They were so sadly rare in this school.

Saphira didn't even need to look up from the cascading water to know someone had aproached her from behind she had heard his footsteps but continued to stare into the water as he asked her his question. "Yes," She answered flatly. Her soft voice barely audiable over the fountain. "It was my first day today." She said before looking back over her shoulder at him and moving herself around to sit facing him.
Her blue eye's locked onto his own as if waiting for him to make the next move, she wondered who he was and what he was doing out here for a start but most of all she wondered what his intentions and what he wanted where. She couldn't honestly say if he had been in any of her classes as she wasn't really paying much attention to those around her all day more keeping herself to herself.

"Welcome then." Le Cyll practiced his rehearsed "normal" speech on the girl. He did not usually like normal speech, but he must use it if he was not to arouse suspicion. He did not want anyone to think him "strange" specifically for the reason that he was "strange."
It could get a little annoying at times, this normal speech, but today he was willing to put up with it.
"It's a nice school. Very nice, but they don't usually have your kind here."
He took a moment to pause, take in the air, and memorize the girl's scent. She was definitely human, but she was also... something else. He did not quite understand it, but this girl was not defenseless as most humans were. He couldn't place the odor of this other thing she was tainted with, but he trusted his instincts enough to tell him that this girl was not a normal, clueless human. She had a secret.
Interestingly enough though, she was still human, and humans were weak. He liked the weak. They were easy to manipulate. He wondered if the human was as easily manipulated as he would like. Then, he could make himself even happier.
"But you already knew that, didn't you? He asked, shrugging.

Saphira watched him as e spoke to her unblinking untill he finnished closing her eye's slowly. "My kind..." She repeated once he had finnished quietly. So she really was alone here too. but how could he know what she was? or was he just trying to figure her out?
She opened her eye's once more, it wasn't hard to tell she wasn't exactly -"Normal"- if you looked into her eye's closely, She didn't have black pupils at all but pool's of blue like water or electricity turning a darker shade slightly where you would expect to see her pupils, She looked at him sensing a strange aura around him, he wasn't persay normal either and she felt slightly uneased by him, She could sense he was powerfull.

Le Cyll nodded, listening to the girl ponder over the remark of "her kind." Yes, it was true there were few humans at this school. Very few, and the ones that were here were most likely here out of some misguided thought that this was an "advanced program school" or something of the sort.
To be fair, Chimera did have an excellent track record, but he had never found anyhtign about it advanced.
Then again, he never really found anything challenging in life. Such a sad, sad thought. He discarded it, trying to keep himself in the blissful light of his oh so rare good mood.
Snapping out of his thoughts, he realized he was being very rude to this girl. She was new, and although he was new too, he was less new than she was, and therefore must show some courtesy.
Well, he wasn't hungry, and he did not particularly want to exploit her in any way. Why not try this "niceness" on for size? It had been a while since he'd tried it at all, and he really did not mind being "nice" although it was not his first reaction to a new individual.
Drive out the new one. They are invaders in your territory. That is the law of the wild, but he was not in the wild now, was he? He was in civilized company, and when in Rome...
"Are you finding everything alright?" He asked, taking a few steps closer to her. He had been on the other side of the fountain, but now he was standing right in front of her, back ot the splaying water, attempting to see the charm in behaving as a civilized being might.
He was trying to make friends... How strange of him. This must be an unusually good mood he was in today.
"Because if you need any help, I'm sure I could lend a hand."
