“No silly! Hats can’t be alive! No I just don’t have any friends or anything and an ADD mind so…..I named her but I heard that the bed sheets will strangle you if you eat after curfew in bed!” Shade was practically hoping up and down now at the prospect of having a friend. Then her ADD mind kicked up and she randomly gazed at the beautiful moon……. …

How do you know it is a gi........ Chase saw Shade's eyes move up looking at the sky and looked at the moon himself. Chase then said the moon use to be so beautiful to be but now it is toucher. Now it is a constant reminder of a horrible memory.

What’s wrong? Are you ok Chase? Shade noticed that Chase’s eyes were now beginning to glisten like there were tears in them and Shade was worried that she had upset him

Chase stopped looking at the moon and said "yes I am fine but I have to go. I w..w..will talk to you maybe some other time." Chase did not stay for another second once he said that he ran out the room to his dorm and into the bathroom locking the door behind him.
