Chase was siting on a bench looking at the grass thinking about all the terrible things that have happened to him before he came to this school. To everyone around him he just looked like he was lost in his thoughts. He was trying to stop thinking about his loving friend that died only a year ago. She died in his arms after he saw a man stab a sword through her heart. No matter how much he tried he could not get her off his mind.

"hey there Chase" Shade had come prancing up to him without a sound or word until she was right behind him. Shade had Marcie stuffed ont top of her head and her long black hair billowed in the spring air. "where have you been? I havent seen you since you left me all alone in the observatory three nights ago!"

Chase still stuck in his horrifying memories did not say anything to Shade because he did not hear anything she had said.

"um.....Helloh......Chase? are you ok?" Shade a little worried by Chase's behavoir by now waved her hand back and forth going faster each time until it was more of a violent wave then a simple check to get Chase's attention."Helloh? HEY! Chase!"

Chase still stuck in his memories had a blank stare in his eyes looking at the ground in silence not noticing Shades hand at all.

"hmmmmm" Shade's wonderfly ADD mind kick started to think of ways to get Chase's attention. Shade jumped on the bench while yelling screaming and singing in a squeky voice when that didnt work she vilolently shook the bench until her arms felt like they were falling off. When nothing else worked Shade let her ADD mind get the upper hand and she tipped the bench until Chase fell into the lake right in front of him.

Chase snapped out of his mind when he felt the water hit his face. He jumped up and ran out of the water and said "What did you do that for?" Then he said "I hate water."

"well I hate when people ignore me!" Shade was teasing Chase however she was still slightly worried about him. "that was just Weird Chase you kind scared me."

Shade sat down in front of Chase and looked him straight in the eye with the most sereous look she had "Dont you go around sayin' things like that. You and I are not much differnt and here I am sitting by some boy I barley know and with one well placed swipe I could kill you right here and now. My anger if it got hold of me could cause me to kill more than half of the school body. What im tryin' to say is that there is nowhere else for people like us... there is nowhere else to go.....Now you can go I doubt I will be able to stop you if you made up your mind but here....we are safe....here we can forget the past and make new memories ......now would you like to stay here?"

No matter how much I try I can not forget the past because it is do horrifying and what do you mean I fit in here I do not, if you look around do you see any body completely dressed in black and a branding of a number on the chest. Plus i could kill all of you guys on this school ground without getting a blood on me.

hmmm..... who said I was not human you don't know if i am or not. I know were you are coming from though because i want to get stronger to kill my family's killer's family who killed my parents and friend.

"why would you want to kill his family? did they do anything to you? however here at chimera your either not human or have somthing realy wrong with you" Shade smiled and pushed marcie up and shoved a particularly unruly lock of hair behind her ear.
