Shade sat in the smallest ugliest corner suronded by the largest dustiest and oldest books in the large ornmental lybaray reading quietly. She lifted her head only high enough to notice that the door handel on the large oak doors was jiggling. Shade bent down and scrunched tight into the corner until she heard footsteps walking away from her. then she lifetd her head once more and continued her reading. Shade hade purposly avoided any contact with the students human or not for the last week and a half. The first two meetings of student had both resulted in awkard silences and disatoris endings. Shade bruhed her dark hair out of her eyes and readjusted Macie, her large purple hat that hid her biggest secret. with her nose burried in her book Shade read on for hours succesfuly covering 753 pages in three hours. with a sigh she begain page 754 and failed to notice sevral boys walking past her corner without so much as a side long look.

As the set of cute guys wandered by she winked in their direction receiving a daring smirk, which she returned with a little flirty wave. They would wait for later, right now, Rue was on business.

She strutted like she owned the place towards her target, their last meeting was left unfinished and she wanted her explanation. Leaning against the old dusty bookshelf, she straightened out the tiny maid costume she was wearing, fixing her favourite set of fishnets back into place before looking down at the girl with her strange hat... Rue could still not understand why Shade wore it... But she wasn't necessarily the one to talk, she didn't exactly dress normal either.

"Shade." She addressed her expectantly with her familiar smirk on her face. She loved the anxious looks that she received from others whom couldn't imagine what sly mischievous thoughts lie behind that eerie smile. They would never know.

Except that mind reader guy of course. And Rei.

You really think too highly of yourself... Rei muttered.

Shade had known that this was coming and didnt even jump at the sound of her leering voice. not even taking her eyes off the 755 page Shade asked in a quiet dagerous voice "what do you want? havnt you done enough damage? could you not possibly leave me alone for more than a couple weeks?". Shade had sat in the corner for so long that she felt that she was collecting more dust than the book shelf that her long excpected visitor leaned aganst. streching out her legs slightly to avoid future cramping Shade awited the answer

"Damage, none lest has been caused just yet... Unless I am mistaken." Rue replied smoothly is her ever flirtatious poetic manor, it didn't matter who, it didn't matter what, she always seemed to sound like that. "Rue wonders, indeed she does quite question just what happened that lonely day in the band room, where Rue's facade at long last fell and how she wonders why dear Shade may have been hiding, such a dire secret of Rue's immense, inevitable curiosity."

Rue gracefully, a rare word to describe Rue, slipped down to sit on her knees, cupping her face in her hands s she leaned on a pile of old books on inches away from her. The charming smile that crossed her painted black lips was not threatening as normal but more or less that of a playful kitten, which, in fine essence beneath her skin, she very much was parring well with the mysterious gleam in her grey eyes as they focused tensely on Shade.

Shade breathed a short lived sigh of relief. Rue hadnt noticed what she did. that voice agitated her greatly it was if she were acting like a candy sellsman.........but here my dear we have the sweet rocks and even though they are high in fat they are extreamly low in calories.........she seemed to be inticing her to do somthing that seemed good but would come out to be horribly bad in the end. "Unless you suddenly went deaf in the first few seconds i was alking to you i said What.......do........you........want." Shade said the words slowly with a space in between each word as if she were talking to a baby that had know idea what she was saying.

She loved the agitation, she could truly sense it in that last bit. Oh, what a fun game this was! Rue kept from laughing, still smiling with that gleam that she loved how it reduced people to such annoyance. Acting as though she had not just been insulted she continued not in the least phased by the acid of Shade's tone.

"Hast you gone deaf or are the words of someone so divine lest too much for you to understand." She said playfully, not so much as mean. She had a tendency of talking to others and teasing them in friendly manors as if she had known them for centuries, it was merely her nature. "Might you have missed what I have inquired? An explanation I have came for, lest I have not yet received." She smirked in her condescending manor.

"hmmmf........." Shade was irritated and wanted to get back to her book " well you ingenuis mind should have figured it out by now......I will not nor will I ever tell you and you should have figured that." Shade went back to her book and tried to ignore Rue and her sweet luring tones but she wouldnt go away and Shade couldnt help wondering if that was all rue wanted to know... it seemed unlikly but of course if she knew the secret her mind would concive a plan that would most certainly ruin everything. no i cant tell her anything. Shade returned to her book and put the strange thoughts into the back of her head while she waited for Rue to leave.

Rue was both shocked and annoyed. No one denied Rue of anything. Ever. She wanted it. She got it. She wanted it dead. It was dead. She wanted it so. It was so.

Hmph... She obviously doesn't know whom she's talking to. Rue thought arrogantly. Heh... Its funny to see you not get your way for once. Rei replied with a patronizing, acidic tone. Rue inwardly growled.

Containing herself once more, her charming little smirk and seductive expression came back with just a little more persistence and harshness. "You simply are underestimating me, a mere 'no', won't cut it." Rue smiled mischievously. "Of course it is your choice whether we do this the hard way or easy way."

In one swift movement and the flick of her wrist, she had slipped the book right from Shade's hands, dog earring the page before holding it behind her, if she wanted it back she would have to go through Rue to get it. "But also let it be known, I am not your enemy. If I were, I wouldn't be wasting my time with such petty games. But honestly, I really do like games." She smiled in a more warm manor. "And if you tell me yours, I'll tell you mine."

Shade stood up as quickly as Rue had stolen her book and looked her in the eye with a cruel smile. the kind of smile she gave humans before she killed them. Shade's eyes flashed a dangerous silver before she spoke "You need to get used to not getting what you want and you need to be a little more careful about who you make angry." Shade continued that smile and didnt mind the fact that she felt herself turning "Your telepathic ability and your MPD could get you in trouble. Not all of us are as weak minded as children we can feel you probing our minds and those who can sence life force? well you get the point." while focusing Rue's attention on herself Shade slipped her book out of Rues hand and into her bag were it dissapeard along with other books both usless and wonderful versions that she wouldnt mind losing. Shade then ran her finger along the dust covered shelf peering through the books at the boys across the hall who seemed to be listening in on the conversation before saying "You might also want to speak in a slightly lower tone those flirtasous boys you saw seem to find our conversation very interesting."

"Bravo! Bravo." She applauded with a pause between each clap, circling Shade she continued. "But not quite." She skipped out to sit in a naturally provocative pose on one of the library tables, it wasn't intended, it just was. "Telepathic? I have not been gifted with such by the Great Spirits." She fluffed her hair. "Empathy, yes. A Multiple Personality Disorder, quite, not my best feature but yes. Seeing and communicating to spirits, yeah, I'm a channel to the spirit world. Big ****." Rue continued as if the boys were not present, she always loved a good audience. It completed her little act. "Now, you have something just a bit more grotesque and the secret..." She smiled deviously. "Is under that hat."

Shade backed up seeing how Rue's speed matched her own and whispered so the boys would not hear "You are so full of yourself and the only person i have met with the endisantsy to reveal my secreat to prying eyes and ears. I am just curios as to one thing....why? why do you have to know? how is it your buissness and why do you insit on bothering me?" Shade backed into the dark corner behind her so far that the boys across the hall had thought that she had walked away. Shade sat there even though waiting for a reply from Rue she was deep in her own thoughts.

"It was merely a guess but it seems that you have clarified that for me." Rue said in a much lower voice, hopping off the table she wandered back into the darkness to which Shade had crept, and with a much softer, friendlier smirk. "Honestly, if you were attempting to keep a secret, it would be best you tried a bit harder and not make it so obvious."

Hm, general deduction could tell you almost everything. She really isn't good at hiding things now is she?
Heh, very much so.
You don't bother though.

Leaning in close to Shade she whispered in her seductive tone. "If I wanted to reveal your secret, I would have said something by now." She walked around behind her continuing to whisper in her other ear. "I am fully aware of what lies beneath your skin. I may look like a mindless slut but I'm much smarter. Not just the obvious entity of your inner being but also your mannerism, your temper, even your speaking manor," She finished her circle around Shade with a small sashay standing before her. "It all deduces quite easily to what you are."

She smiled condescendingly. "My questions were merely child's play and that of the assure that all my conclusions were true." She turned to go in the other direction. "And they were." As she walked out of the dark section she turned and with a mysterious smirk she ended. "Thank you for your time, I am done with you. You may return to your reading." She headed in the other direction walking slowly. She was almost completely sure the other would go after her. They always did. If not, her work here was done.

Shade stared after Rue in disbelief. She truly hated the girl now however she couldnt help but wonder how she had figured it all out in just a few moments time in the band room were her silly ADD was sure of making a fool of her. She began to think and think hard and fast,
Iif Rue knew what she was she would most likyl know about her brouthers and that was a big problem.
"Rue! come back..... why did you even try to figure it out? how in this crazed world did i interest you enough for you to go snooping around?

A sly smile spread across her pale features as she turned, tossing her blood red hair and twirling a piece as she smiled for a few seconds at Shade. She made a small, almost silent laugh of amusement. Giving her seductive, smirk-y expression she gave her reason.

"Because. Just because." She said smoothly, the word sliding out like a hiss, floating through the quiet air of the desolate Library, carrying the same mysterious feel as always. It was her favorite feature. It truly was.

Shade couldn't understand how somebody could be so freakin' innoying! Shade clenched her teeth and smiled in the nicest way she could. "well I have to leave I have a engament in the forest" Shade readjusted her bag pushed Marcie out of her eyes and walked behind the shelves until she reched the end of the wall were she turned the brass handel on the large oak doors and left them swinging as she walked out her hair in a flying messy reck.
