-Le Cyll's Past- I kind of want to work on some of his childhood (which will really show why he's so messed up) but it seems like not the right time. maybe more when Kendryek and him get more friendly?

-Wolf Wars- The Kludde Kasa is intruding upon Le Cyll's land. Something must be done!

-Accordance of Peace- Le Cyll and Kendryek can only meet in peace the library >.> so... this is an interesting and very character-deepening thing, and it will be a more than one time occurrence. when oren and I will do this? hmm.... probably after my trip >.>

=Log Entry One | July 15 | Arrival=

Entry one, arrival begins with my admittance into the academy. I had no trouble with being accepted. My intelligence in no way is lacking, and using it sparingly is all that is needed to accomplish most of my goals. Fresh from the moorlands, I am slightly new to the outside world. My tribe is a secluded one, wary of outsiders and by choice isolated from all that may corrupt our customs.

Customs are such useless, petty things. I have always thought so. While all else in my tribe succumbs to age old and obsolete rituals - worshiping our outdated gods and sacrificing the hunt as a tribute to another good season - I would always oppose them. I was heir to the Chieftain position. A little progressiveness would not hurt, and I was in the right to change whatever I wanted.

Of course, my father would not have it. The old winged wolf can most easily be described as Satan himself. I will not go into great detail the many and exceedingly repulsive things he has done to be awarded this position in my mind, but you shall be satisfied with knowing that since my mother died he has been increasingly worse every year. She died - I think - when I was six, though it isn't important enough anymore to remember the exact time. Deep wounds heal more quickly if you do not scratch and tear at them, I've found.

So, knowing my father in the limited sense that you do, it is not surprising at all to know that - after years of my constant "rebellion"- he has finally sickened of me. I stumbled into the world a new being, free from him and the rest of that backwards tribe. It was only by my incredible adaptive abilities that I managed to find this school for creatures like me and join it.

The first day here was interesting, if not a bit offputting. I wanted solitude, and finding it easily enough where another archaic ritual was practiced - respect for the dead - I gladly settled myself into the bowels of a cemetery to see the only thing that was still familiar to me - the moon.

That is only how it started off though. I was enjoying my freedom quite readily when a girl came along.

Ailyth, a female Wolpertinger.

She - as most Wopertingers are - was incessantly cheerful, and insisted on striking conversation. At the time, I was in good enough spirits from seeing the moon that I tolerated her prodding questions and constant talking. I decided, though she followed me, that I would at least make my time with her useful. I wanted to find a place to be in peace.

In hindsight, it was not a good idea to bring her along. I should have shaken her on the way up the overgrown pathway. Sadly, I did not, and she entered with me into the old abandoned house I'd spotted at the top of the hill.

The house seemed like a good enough place. It was intended to be used as a sanctuary every lunar cycle. On the night of the full moon, you see, I lose control of my skin, and I develop a more than average hunger. This... is not acceptable behavior for a social environment, as I've found out from previous experience. My tribe had known about it since I was small, so they were prepared when it happened, but I was sure none in the school cared to know about my debilitating and dangerous condition, so I wanted to keep it contained.

It seemed though, that I would not have the house to myself. As I was exploring it - girl in tow - a banshee appeared. It seemed to be the eternal resident of the old house, and refused to leave me alone.

Now, a banshee was far from my range of concern, but it would not stop pestering me. By this time, the girl had offered to feed the banshee - it being starved of its only food. She seemed adamant about it, and even asked it I would help. I have seen banshees before. Usually, when they suck the life out of you, they take your life as well.

I was not in the particular mood to die then, so I let her enjoy feeding it and graciously declined.

She, once figuring out that something was wrong, was hesitant to try it. I encouraged her - she had seemed so willing to help before - but she did not want to. I really had no wish for her to follow me around much, and devising an ingenious plan, I thought I could use the bothersome banshee to my advantage.

She did not appreciate this, and perhaps I was being a bit obvious because she grew angry with me and for no other reason than to vent her anger, she punched me square in the chest.

I admit to being a little set on seeing her dead then. She had been nothing but a constant aggravation since she approached me, and I felt the need to rid myself of her.

I wanted to celebrate my freedom, not add another shackle to the lot.

I pushed her closer to the banshee, and instead of eating her like a good haunt, it missed. She escaped, not at all happy with me, and I assume some of my charming true nature showed, because she seemed to dislike me intently from then on.

But then again, most that know me well enough do not like me. It comes with the territory.
