Satoshi was sitting next to the lake looking into the water. Satoshi was lost in his thoughts thinking about his adoptive father. Satoshi hated him. He wanted his adoptive father to die because that was what his father wanted him to do. His father found out a huge sercret about Satoshi and he wasn't happy. So Satoshi's father started to beat him one night to were Satoshi wasn't even recognizable. Satoshi was really smart for his age. Satoshi is only 16 and has already graduated college to be a detective but he wanted to be a kid again so he went back to school. Satoshi was looking deep into the water looking at a fish hoping that all his horrifying memories would just disappear.

Vincent Was walking along the water front eating a large bowl of ramen with several different kinds of meat in it, as he was walking he noticed a young man sitting by the water. The young man seemed to be lost in thought and was staring off into the water, seeing this Vincent approached the young man from behind waiting until he was right behind the man to pop up. "Hey there wants some ramen it is good" as Vincent said that he took his pack from his back and sat it down then he took a seat on the ground next to the young man. "Names Vincent D. Barnett you can shorten the name anyway you like as long as you dont call me Vinny, and i am new to the school just transferred in" he said with a smile as he sat there and waited for a response from the young man.

Satoshi was startled by the man that came up behind him. It scared him so much that he could feel his heart pounding on his chest to were it started to hurt. Satoshi was scared that it was possibly his adoptive father. Satoshi looked at the male and said "I'm fine I'm not really hungry but thank you anyways." Satoshi brought in his knees to his chest curving his back expecting to be hurt by something. Satoshi felt that if his father found that he was flying to go to a new school that his father would come and smack the hell out of him.Satoshi was never allowed to wear anything but a tucks around his dad so he felt a little more relaxed dressed the way he was now. Satoshi then said "Nice to meet you Vincent, my name Is Satoshi Apothethy." Satoshi felt awkward sitting there not having to work on a case. It was actually somewhat relaxing to just sit there looking at the water for him.

Vincent smiled and continued to eat his ramen his higher then normal hearing heard the mans heart beating faster, "sorry about that i didn't think i would startle you like that" Vincent said as he began to rub the back of his head. "It is nice to meet you Satoshi Apothethy, mind if i just call you sato for short?" he asked still smiling, he watched the young man face to see how he would react hoping that he would not be bother by Vincent shorting his name. "So what brings you out here on this sunny day?" he asked the young man as he then finished his bowl of ramen. Vincent then stood up and walked over to the water and began to wash his bowl, once he was done with that he strapped it to the front of his pack and then sat back down.

"Its okay you didn't mean to scare me and you yourself really didn't it is just i am a little bit paranoid right now." Satoshi said while rubbing the back of his head too. Satoshi smiled while rubbing his head but after a little bit he stopped rubbing his head and smiling and started to stare back at the water. "You can call me that just don't call me useless or mutt or slave or anything like that." Satoshi mumbled with a little scarce in his voice. Satoshi watched Vincent clean his bowl. Satoshi stilled holding his knees to his chest said " I came out here today to try gettting dome fresh air for a bit. Now i am starting to regret it because i am worrying a lot now. I mean it isn't because of you or anything its just.....I am worried about my dad I guess you can say.....I know stupid right.......I am sorry i am talking a lot now.........I'll shut up now."

Vincent looked over at sato with curiosity on his mind, "why are you worried about your dad?" Vincent asked as he reached over and put a hand on sato's back pating him. "You should not be worried on such a nice day you should be relaxing and doing something fun and exciting, like looking for a strong creature to fight or if that's not your style go for a nice relaxing swim" he said as he gave sato a soft smile. Looking at how worried the boy look Vincent began to wonder what the young mans father could have done to him to make him fear his father so much, "hey if you dont mind me asking what happen that you fear your father so much" he asked sato. Vincent then looked to the young man hoping that he could help him cheer up is some way.

Satoshi arched his back some when Vinc. started to pat it. Satoshi was afraid that Vinc. was going to hit is back because he did something to make him mad. Satoshi looked a bit terrified when Vinc. touched him and asked him that question. Satoshi looked at him with pain in his eyes. Satoshi said "I don't want to talk bout it." He then turned his head away from Vinc. Hoping that he could forget all the mean things his father did like whip him and drown his and even burn him. Satoshi started to shake as these thoughts went through his head.

Vincent seeing sato start to shack quickly pulled his hand away and then began to rub the back of his head again, after a few moments Vincent stopped and began to smile again he then stood up and dusted him self off. He then looked up into the sky and let out a deep sigh, "hey i am sorry about asking i didn't mean to make you start to shake he must have done some terrible things to you" Vincent said in a more serious voice then he normally uses. He then began to think back to when his two older brothers used to team up and beat him till he could not move, they would also lock him in caves with large creatures and not let him out unless he managed to beat the creatures. Vincent let out a light laugh under his breath before turning to face sato who was still sitting on the ground, "hey you dont have to worry about your dad here he wouldn't show up here" Vincent said as he then picked his pack up placing it on his back.
"Hey sato i want you to come with me i know a good place for you to go where you wont have to worry about him for sure" as Vincent said that he pointed to the large mountain on the other side of the lake. "We will go there and i will show you something you probable never thought would be there" he said smiling once again his voice returning back to it normal happy sound. "Oh but before we go there your not uncomfortable in enclosed spaces are you?" Vincent asked looking at sato.

Satoshi looked at Vinc. and said "No I'm not afraid of in closed spaces. Why? Is there like a little inside meadow or something? Sorry I like meadows I think they are pretty. Plus my dad will find me. No matter what. Its because i have a tracking chip in my neck. So I will always worry that he shows up. But don't worry I'll be fine nothing too bad will happen." ..................[Except I will be burned, skinned alive, and then killed.]

Vincent let out a light laugh then looked at the young man, "believe me where i am taking you that chip wont even be able to get a signal out" he said as he began to walk down a path towards the mountains with sato. "Sorry to say it is not a meadow but it is a place that helps heal and sooth the body and soul" Vincent said as he noticed a small fruit tree as they were walking so he stopped and pick a dozen or so of the fruit placing them in his pack. After about 15 minutes of walking they arrived at the base of the large mountain to which there was no trail to continue on, Vincent smiled and then pointed up toward the top "follow me" he said as he then sat his pack down and took off his monks robe and sandals. Vincent's body then began to produce burst of electric charges as this happen his body began to glow then change he grew larger by a foot and a half now standing seven and a half feet tall. His body also turned to a dark blue and he had a pair of massive wings on his back, Vincent bend down and picked up his pack then looked to sato "oh ah i forgot to ask can you fly?"

Satoshi looked at Vinc. when he asked him if he could fly. Satoshi answered "Well yes but...... It hurts to get my wings. My wings rip through my skin on my shoulder blades and i have been hurt many times on my back so it is painful to grow them. Plus I don't need to save anyone right now and I'm not that sad."

Vincent let out a laugh the tossed his pack to sato, "in that case put that on and pull the straps tight then hang on" Vincent said with a smile. After sato put the pack on Vincent grabbed hold of the pack and then shoot into the air flying almost to the top with the young man in hand, as they neared the top a small shelf could be seen this is where Vincent landed and then he placed his hand on the the face of the mountain. He then used his lightning on the wall which began to glow and make a crumbling sound, after a few second it hand opened to reveal a path into the mountain that was dark. As they entered the mountain Vincent walked over to a hole in the wall next to the door where he pulled out a large stone and used his lightning to charge it, as he did that it started to glow a bright blue making light so they could see. Vincent then lead sato down a long damp path after about a half hour of walking they reached a underground spring of fresh water, there were a couple of hot springs and a pool of fresh cool water in the large room. "Well that thing wont be able to send a single from here and there is only one way in and out of this place and that's the way we came in so try and relax" Vincent said with a smile as he changed back to his human form.

Satoshi started to shake as they were in the air. He was scared of heights and he just now learned that. When they were in the cave Satoshi smiled as he saw the springs. He had never been to a hot spring but he heard that they were really relaxing and he liked that thought. Satoshi then asked Vinc. "So what do i do now?" Because he was clueless now he has only seen them so he never knew what to do.

Vincent gave a light laugh then reached in his bag and pull out a pair of swim trunks, he then went behind a rock and changed into them after which he pulled his cooking supplies from his pack. After which he walked over and hopped in the hot spring leaving the cooking supplies right next tot he water, he then came back to the top of the water looking over to sato "now you get in and relax" as he said that he began to cook a large pot of ramen. "If you need trunks i got a couple spars in my pack" he said as he pointed to his pack over by the rock he went behind to change, " oh and before you hope in grab me a bowl from the pack please and thank you, oh and there is also extra bowls in there if you want some grab a bowl it helps with the relaxing" Vincent spoke with a large smile on his face.
(OOC: Sorry apoth i dont think i will be able to post again until tomorrow night since i have to go out of town to take my entrance test and physical to get into the marine corp. I hope this is not to much of a problem and again sorry for the delay to come.)

Satoshi went behind a rock and got changed into a bathing suit that Vinc. had in his pack. When Satoshi was done changing he came out and walked over to Vinc. with two bowls for the ramen. Satoshi put the bowls next to the cooking supplies Vinc. was using. After he place the bowls done Satoshi went into the hot spring. Satoshi asked Vinc. "So I can really relax? I can trust that I wont get hurt from another person." Satoshi never was aloud to relax. He was always told to do another case from his father. His father always worked him to the bone and if he refussed to do something he was whipped. Satoshi looked at Vinc. waiting for his answer through his glasses that started to fogg up from the steam. Satoshi wasn't allowed to take off his glasses because he was on the border line of being blind. When he has his glasses off his eyes are a very light blue like ice blue but he can't see a thing and because of this he was always afraid someone would try and hurt him when he had his glasses off.
