People naturally feared the dark, and yet at the same time they were fascinated by it. They were always more wary when they traveled alone at night, and yet the simple decision to travel alone at all was more than enough to seal their fate. After all, people feared the night. There were hardly ever many people around to hear the screaming.
Not that any of that mattered in this ****ing town. Or that ****ing school, with all of those mythical ****ing creatures and their freakish ****ing powers... This entire place was just so ****ed up!
Hendrix angrily grated his teeth together are he glared gown at the ground. Such a ****ing beautiful day. It was pitch black outside and he could hear only minimal activity going on in the streets beyond the building that he leaned against. So perfect... And yet what was there to do? What could he do?
Maybe it was just a ****ing mistake to come to this place.
Maybe he should just get out of here while he has the chance. No, that's not a possibility. He wasn't about to leave all those poor, lonely girls. But what then? He liked these ones because they were much different that the humans, but it was because they were so different that he- Oh, this really ****ing sucked! He did not enjoy thinking so much. Not like that, at least.
Just kill them all.
Now that's just suicide.
... Kill them all quickly!
And die all the more quickly!
Hey, at least everyone would remember our name!
Dying doesn't sound like much fun...
Yeah, but-
"Just shut up," He muttered impatiently.
Momentarily he looked down at the cigarette he had been rolling between his fingers, before quickly glancing down both ends of the alley. He wasn't really expecting to see anyone. It must just be a force of habit after all these years.
Taking another drag, he sighed as he habitually looked down the alley again. Still no one. Still nothing to do. Even if there was something to do, he really couldn't do it here, right? This place just... Really ****ing sucked.

Out of the school after dark? That was certainly irresponsible of her. But Gunner didn't care, she wanted to leave the school for a little while. It wasn't like she'd never left the grounds unannounced before, and why should this time be any different?
The unicorn drew her jacket close and zipped it shut, just as a precaution against the cold Washington wind. Who the **** builds a school in ****ing Washington?! Why not somewhere warmer like Alabama or Texas or Florida or New Mexico? Why Washington?! Of course, she'd be much less ****ed if she wasn't walking around in the cold--
Oh shush. Just walk around.
Everything was closed. She really had no reason to be here. But her dormmates? They seemed to think differently. Rooming with boys was every girls dream, but living the dream was no fun. They didn't suspect a thing, and that's why she loved the prepubescent ones--they were too stupid to get it.
Down a long street that connected to a bizarre alleyway, she walked up the alley and squinted against the chill. Was that smoke? Oh God, stereotypical horror film, here we come. Instead of doing to smart thing and turning around, she just kept walking. Why should she be afraid? After all, she was a normal boy to the world. Well, unless he liked that kind of stuff.

With an exaggerated sigh, Hendrix leaned his head against the building, looking up at the sky, watching the smoke create weird patterns as it curled upward. So this is what he had been reduced to? Observing patterns in the blue smoke. Just so ****ed up.
A noise, and his head instinctively turned toward the sound, coming down the alley. It was just... Some guy. Nothing too interesting to see there.
With a shrug, he looked away, tossing the cigarette to the ground before removing another pack from his pocket. He didn't really smoke too often. Only when he was bored. Or whenever he felt like it, really. And, right now, to be in an instance when he had absolutely nothing to do... Well, maybe he could find something somewh-
NO! A chorus of voices suddenly stopped him.
Startled, he jumped back slightly, his hand going up to his head as if he were in pain.
"What?!" He growled, too annoyed to care that he had just spoken out loud.
I think... That guy's a chick.
He is.
You mean she is.
How can you tell?
I just... Can. It's like a sixth sense, ya know?
Really? Are you sure?
"Well... I can find out," He muttered, a hungry gleam in his eyes.
He watched her - well, hopefully it was a her - with a smile as he leaned against the building. All his previous anger was gone. Whatever the **** could cause him to hesitate didn't matter. This was more important than everything else right now.
"Hey there... Out a bit late, aren't we?"

Gunner shuddered against the wind and clamped her eyes shut. Still, more wind kept coming, seeming to push her back into the alley. She didn't weigh that much, and she truthfully feared that the wind would snatch her feet from under her and slam her into a wall. Her old, tattered barette finally broke and was carried away on the wind. She turned to watch it fly away and a tear came to her eye.
Hastilly, she wiped the tear off her face and kept walking. She was suddenly bombarded with the chore of keeping her long black hair out of her face as she kept walking. What was with this wind?
Then, all of a sudden, it died down and she fell forward, throwing her arms out and catching herself as though she was crawling on her hands and knees or doing a modified pushup. Her black locks fell in front of her on the dirty alley ground.
A shadow fell over her and encompassed everything around her Gunner got up quickly and pushed her hair back. With a light scowl she said, "I suppose so. But that's not really any of your business is it?" With that being said she made to walk past Hendrix and continue on her way.

Yeah... Yeah, definitely a chick.
Hendrix nodded as he looked down at her. The hair was much too feminine, though that was the only giveaway. For some reason it seemed as if she wanted people to think she was a guy. Maybe it was for protection... From guys like him.
I don't... Really like that it took me this long to figure out, He mused.
When the **** did you start getting picky?
Hey! I have standards too!
So we're just gonna leave her, then?
No! Of course not... But I have the right to complain about these things.
Oh, just quit your ****ing whining and get on with it!
Distracted by the conversation going on inside of his head, he nearly missed the girl's words as she stood up and attempted to walk past him. Wow, the people here could be so... Well, guarded. Especially at night. What was so strange about being approached by a stranger in a back alleyway in the middle of the night?
"Aw, you don't wanna do this the hard way, do you?"
Catching her by the arm, he forced her against the building, placing his hands on either side of her head. Those were awfully curt words. She should really be punished for that.
"Or maybe... You do," He continued, completely calm, "Matter of fact, I like doing things... The hard way."

Perhaps it was foolish to hope that he would just let her past, but she'd hoped anyway. He seemed to be distracted by the voices bickering in his own brain. Gunner had attempted to take advantage of this and get away, but the world didn't seem to be on her side at the moment. Hendrix grabbed her arm and the wind was knocked out of her as the unyieldy wall sealed her fate.
Not really. His arms were stationed to either side of her head. She could see the freedom of the street just beyond him, if only she could duck under his arms fast enough. Just distract him. Just distract him and slip out when the opening was wider. Right now she could tell he'd be able to catch her before her legs even bent slightly.
Anger was written all over her face. Disgust and complete hate burned in her eyes.
"Creep." She spat. Her anger pulsed and filled her blood. She felt a point of ivory in the middle of her forehead and the lightest tint of spun gold creeping into her hair.

How many times had he done this? Hundreds? Thousands? Too many to count. And they were always the same: terrified, angry, unwilling. Not that he minded that, of course. Hell, he lived for that! Yet it always puzzled him why no one was ever just... Well, happy. He was doing them a favor, after all! Really, they could have run into any strange guy on the streets but no, they had the good fortune to run into him. Was that not cause for celebration?
Apparently not. And apparently this girl was just another one of those poor chicks who didn't know how good this would be for her.
"Now, now. No need to get upset," He laughed, brushing a lock of her hair aside, "Don't you understand? I'm doing a... Nice thing for you. Not to be rude but... I'm guessing you don't get much attention from guys..."
He slid his hand down the side of her body before grasping her hip, though he wasn't too rough but he also wanted to make sure that she didn't get the bright idea to try and escape. Not that escape was possible for her. It was fine if she struggled, though. Oh yes, that was just fine.
"It's too bad..." He muttered, leaning in closer though he wasn't really talking to her anymore, "They have no idea what they have here."

She knew that she could just pull her hand back and puch the man holding her against the wall. After all, her wasnt even really holding her against the wall--he just had her cornered--in a way, at least. Perhaps she could. Perhaps she could punch him hard and flee, perhaps she could confuse him with an illusion and then run while he's trapped.
All these ideas ran through her head, but she couldn't pull herself together enough to put even one into action. Why was she frozen? Was she frozen in fear? Was it something about his eyes that trapped her in an utter abyss of hopelessness? Whatever it was, she couldn't retailiate. And she knew deep in her stomach that this would be her downfall. Nothing that had ever happened before or that will happen in the future will ever compare to what she knew was about to happen now.
"I don't need that kind of attention." She said, her spirit flaring up at his statement. It was true, after all, she didn't get attention from guys--well, she got plenty from the gay guys--but she didn't want that type of attention. Nor did she need it. She'd existed this long without it, after all...
The scumbag moved in closer and she could smell the smoke hanging off him like a thick veil of musk. She turned away and started coughing, covering her mouth and nose. Gunner couldn't breathe out of either--with her nose she smelled it, with her mouth she tasted it.
If it was another situation, she'd be flattered by his words, but instead she felt bile rise up in her throat.

Hendrix only continued to smile, barely listening to what she was saying, as he leaned in closer... Closer... Much closer... As close as he could before she turned her head away, going into a coughing fit. Letting out an impatient sigh, he waited for a moment, wondering if he should be offended here.
"Oh please. You don't know what you need," He said, rolling his eyes.
Not that what she needed really mattered. Oh no, it wasn't nearly as important as what he needed. Luckily, however, the two often seemed to coincide, although the girl was usually totally unaware of this. Dumb *****es... Although their stupidity usually became a good thing for Hendrix. It always made them easier catches. And much more fun ones, at that.
With his free hand he reached out and tipped her chin up towards him, forcing her to look at him. He leaned in closer again, his face only just an inch away from hers.
"Lucky for you... I know exactly what you need."
He leaned in closer still, his lips just barely brushing against hers... But right then he remembered something. Something important. And so, he stopped short, moving back only slightly. Of course, how could he forget something like that?
"Oh, how rude of me! My name's Hendrix. And who might you be?"
He asked cheerily, as though he didn't see anything wrong with asking such a question in the current situation. He might have even shook her hand if he wasn't busy with keeping her cornered, of course.

Crap. Crap. Crap.
This was something that would haunt her for the rest of her life. But now, she wouldn't let this happen. She was disgusted at herself for even letting it get this far. What kind of fighter was she, just leaning against the wall compliantly, like she had already given up? Never! Never. Flames flickered behind her eyes. What was that power her mom had had? Pain Illusion was it called? She would do anything to have that ability right now.
"Shut up!" she said, removing her hand from over her nose and mouth and attempted to deck the person holding her. He'd practically just effing kissed her, and the audacity to say she didn't know what she needed. Perhaps not, but she knew she didn't need this, nor was this something she would ever enjoy. Next time she'd try something like that, she'd bite him. Or knee him where the sun-don't-shine. That would do it for sure.

Well, she was amusing to say the least. The girl wasn't stupid, she knew she wasn't getting away and yet she still tried to resist him. That was... Maybe she was stupid after all. But at least she promised to be a fun time.
Swiftly, he caught her wrist, pulling her forward before spinning her around, twisting her arm behind her back and slamming her frontwards into the wall again. Holding her firmly against the wall, he pressed himself up against her back, bringing a hand up and placing it on her stomach.
She was such a rude, little *****. Wasn't it only polite to give your name when someone else introduced themselves first? And then she actually tried to hit him! Well, at least that stunt made him even more confident. He could never really tell what kind of creature he could be messing with around here. In all honesty, he wasn't much of a fighter, so he had to be sure to tread carefully as to avoid conflict. But now this girl... If that stunt was the best she could do, he had nothing to worry about.
Resting his chin ontop of her head, he sighed impatiently. She was so difficult. It wasn't like he had to know her name, but he just would like to for some reason. Then he would put it on file in his mind with the hundreds of others. Maybe it was a sick way for him to connect with his victims. Although why would he want to? Well, whatever. It didn't matter right now and he'd find out her name eventually, anyway.
"Fine. Be that way. But you might find that I'm just a bit... Rougher with strangers."
Was that true? Not necessarily. It wouldn't make a difference if he knew her name or not, but she didn't know that.
He repositioned himself so that he was able to grab a hold of her jacket, hesitating for a moment and breathing heavily. Then, suddenly and very quickly, he ripped it open in one motion. He then grabbed onto her shirt and immediately tore that open as well. He let his hand rest on her waist as he roughly pressed her up further against the wall.
"Just know that you asked for this."

Gunner wanted to scream and let out a stream of vague swears until she didn’t have any more breath. She wanted to whip around and cause this man so much pain he wouldn’t know what the meaning of the word was. Damn, she was pathetic. But no matter how pathetic she was, she wouldn’t cry out or make a sound. No, the unicorn wouldn’t give him that satisfaction. She’d sooner die, hurl herself in a vat of boiling lava before letting that happen. It was simple fact.
She had such bad luck with the male species. Her father, Emz, from the boat... Every male she’d ever known or met had only added to her hatred of them. Sometimes she wondered why she was so keen on pretending to be a boy.
Pressed against the hard wall with a scowl on her face and dry eyes, even though her arm was twisted behind her back to the point that it would be quite easy to break, the answer floated into her knowledge. This. This was why.
A loud sound of tearing fabric as her jacket ceased to exist and so did her shirt, she did not cry. She was not afraid. She was not a scared fourteen year old girl alone in Washington, thousands of miles away at the mercy of this man that smelled like tobacco.

In response to the silence that ensued, he moved to rest his head on her shoulder instead, sighing. What was with the girls here? Either they were too loud or they didn't make any noise at all. Although if he had to choose, he supposed silence was better. Otherwise, since they were pretty much out in the open now, it might attract unwanted attention.
Sliding his hand down her thigh, there was yet another tearing of fabric. He smiled at her all the while, never losing eye contact. After all, eye contact was vital when conveying one's feelings, and he wanted to be certain that they understood each other perfectly well.
Then, there was a moment of inaction as his smile faded. He starred at her for awhile, his face completely serious then, without warning, he pressed himself up hard against her, grasping at her all-but-nonexistent chest. His lips crushed against hers in a rough open-mouthed kiss, a hand sliding up to the back of her neck to hold her in place.
No matter how many thousands of times he did this, he never got tired of it. The feel of her body against his, the way her lips trembled ever so slightly from a concealed fear. It was all so... Arousing. But why did is seem like they never felt the same? That was one thing he'd never been able to understand. He was pouring his soul into this, and they just didn't appreciate it.
But that was a thought for another time. At this moment his attention was focused solely for her. Namely, her body. Now he needed to make her scream... Or cry. Yeah, that would complete this.

What was the point of all those years of abuse?
That word made her blood run cold. She had never believed it to be abuse, never. It had merely been training, and in order to get really good at fighting you had to be hurt, you had to fall down or else everything you learn is useless. You know what to do but not how to do it, and all those lessons become useless. She was trained to be able to fight back in this kind of situation, but she couldn't even fight back.
She had a vague sense of where his power lay. She realized and acknowledged that in reality he didn't have all that much strength. The difference was that he was stronger than her, and that made all the difference in the world.
I will not cry. I will not cry. I will not give him the satisfaction of seeing how much he scares me.
It was as though it was happening to someone else. There was a loud tear of fabric as she was bared. It was cold, very cold, and she shivered purely from the cold. It wasn't fear. It was the cold.

Sitting upon the ground and leaning back against the building, Hendrix looked up toward the sky with a sigh. It was almost morning already. Looked like yet another sleepless night for him, not that he was complaining. He'd catch up on his sleep just as these girls stopped throwing themselves at him. Of course, that was unlikely to ever stop... Well, who really needed sleep, anyway?
He looked down at the pack in his hands, removing his last cigarette and lighting it in a flash before carelessly tossing the pack on the ground. As he took the first drag, he glanced down the alley, though he wasn't expecting to see anyone. And he didn't. That was what was nice about this town. He didn't have to hurry up and leave or risk being found out. Some of the people here must be aware of what he does by now, they just ignore it. If they heard a scream or two in the night they'd probably ignore that too. This was why he preferred the town to the school, though he did have to venture up to that castle on occasion.
Casting a glance at the girl on the ground beside him, he smiled a little. It was a shame that she was still just a nameless whore to him. If he knew her a little better, he'd have tried to comfort her by now. It was strange indeed, but that's just who he was. He could horribly rape and torture a girl one minute, then console and apologize to them the next. Although it didn't really mean anything, right? Just something he felt compelled to do.
"Whatever. But I know you wanted it," He said, half to her and half to himself.
With that, he dropped the remains of his cigarette on the ground, crushing it underfoot. He then reached over and rubbed her back reassuringly before standing up, straightening his jacket and strolling away.
"You have a nice day now."
