Jenos stood under a giant oak tree that had pretty leaves on it. Jenos was dressed in all black nothing out of the ordinary but now he had his hair freshly combed and washed. Not that he didn't wash his hair its just he never stayed away from getting it dirty. Jenos stood there with a yellow rose pined to his shirt that was freshly picked on his way over to the tree. Jenos was waiting for a friend named Toni. He was standing there with a bouquet of white roses in his hands. He sure hoped Toni wouldn't ware anything to out of the ordinary but he said she could ware what ever she wanted. He would rather her be comfortable then irritated. Jenos could hear the wind blow through his hair with a gentle whisper. Today he thought for sure would be a good day to pay his respect to his parents.

Toni had always hated girls who fretted over what they wore, panicking about clashing colours and bad shapes and other silly and pointless things. Today, however, she'd almost turned into one.
Jenos had invited her out, and at first she hadn't had anything to worry about. Then, however, he'd told her that they'd be going to the Necropolis. She wasn't sure what to expect, but she suspected that they were going to visit the grave of someone he'd known.
Wanting to be respectful if this was the case, she'd found her black sweater dress. It was fitted and only reached her knees, but it was warm despite that; the long sleeves probably helped. After donning shoes and a light over-jacket, she left her dorm and headed for their meeting place.
Jenos was already there, dressed all in black--save for the yellow flower pinned to his lapel--and holding a bouquet of white roses. Toni smiled, remembering that the only reason she could see at all was because of him.
"Hey," she said quietly, coming to a standstill beside him. She indicated that he should lead the way, and then followed him as he picked his way through the headstones. "So... are we here to pay respects to anyone in particular?" she asked as she stepped past a headstone that had been adorned with a statue of a praying angel.

Jenos saw Toni dressed in what he believed to be a cute black dress on her. As she stood next to him waiting for him to lead the way Jenos moved a strand of hair out of his eye. Jenos led Toni through the grave yard to a stone that had two names on it. As toni asked him if the was anyone in particular Jenos answered "Yes, my parents." Jenos the took a knee infront of the stone placing the bouquet of white roses gently on the ground next to the stone. He then pulled out an insent and placed it on the top of the grave. Jenos lit the insent with a lighter from his left pocket. Jenos then held out his hand towards Toni for her to grab his hand and if she would pay her respect to his parents with him.

Toni got down on her knees beside Jenos and took his hand. It was only when his warm hand wrapped around them that Toni realized how chilly her fingers were, and she wondered idly why she was so cold. It was relatively nice out, so she had no reason to be. Maybe it was just nerves? But why would she be nervous?
She brushed the thoughts aside and bowed her head, not entirely sure how Jenos respected the dead. Toni had been taught to bow her head and pray silently. But perhaps Jenos had grown up with different beliefs.
To stop herself from just coming right out and asking, she looked at the symbols on the gravestone, illuminated by the insent. She knew that they were letters, but seeing as she'd been blind all her life, being able to see letters was new to her. She hadn't spent much time on learning them yet, but knew vaguely what they were.
Toni traced the words "mom and dad", tears smarting her eyes as she thought of her own parents. They'd died quite some time ago, she knew, but she'd never actually gotten to say a proper farewell to them. But she quickly shied away from that train of thought. She was here to pay respects to Jenos' parents, not hers, and breaking down wouldn't do anything.
Her eyes fell on the insent and she watched the flickering flame, losing herself in the tiny but powerful source of light as she waited for Jenos to do or say something.

As Toni sat down and grabbed his hand to pay respect to his parents Jenos closed his eyes and started to pray. Jenos stayed on his knee for five minutes and then quietly opened his eyes without a single tear. Jenos looked over at Toni to she if she was done when he found her looking at the insent that was lit. Jenos said to toni "I'm sorry this is a pretty horrible date isn't it. Its just today is the day they died and it has been twelve years sense it has happened. I just wanted to talk to them for a few minutes.""So anyway what do you want to do. I am up for anything" Jenos said with a shaky voice.

Toni was shaken from her thoughts when Jenos spoke, and she offered him a reassuring albeit small smile. "I don't mind that you wanted to come here," she told him, getting to her feet. "There's nothing wrong with wanting to visit your parents' resting place. I would if I could, but my parents were buried in unmarked graves, so..."
She then considered his question, chewing her lower lips while she thought. "Well... I don't know."
She glanced around at the surrounding area, as if hoping for inspiration from the trees and slabs of granite. Several posibilites flickered through her mind, but none seemed entirely appropriate. What to do, what to do...
"How about we just go for a walk?" Toni suggested finally, unable to come up with anything better.
ooc:: sorry... since we're in the necropolis, I can't think of anything they could do, soo... ^^;

Jenos agreed but felt as if he was needed there like something big was going to happen so he hassatated and said "How about we stay here for just a while longer" With every word Jenos spoke he sounded more confused. He didn't know what was going to happen.
After a few minutes Jenos decided not to wait any longer and said "Okay we'll go for a walk then." Jenos turned around about to start walking when a male dressed in complete black with a red rose pinned to his shirt started to walk their way. The male had a bouquet of white lilies in his hand. Jenos couldn't believe it. He thought in his head "What......What is a Kodiac member here other then myself....Could it be......." Jenos stood still in the spot he kneeled in earlier. Jenos stared at the male as he walked closer to them. The males head was down so Jenos couldn't see his face but Jenos has a feeling that was why he wanted to wait.
The male moved his head up some to were his eyes just barly showed from benethe his hair. The male had a numeral number branded on his chest and on the side of his neck. The number read ( III ). As the male moved closer to were he was standing next to Jenos he mumbled the name ( XI ). Which Toni should know was Jenos' number in the Kodiac.

Toni got up at the same time as Jenos and was about to leave when she realized that he'd become frozen to the spot. She followed his gaze and realized that there was a man coming towards them, dressed all in black just as they were. He carried a bouquet of white lilies.
He looked vaguely familiar, and glancing from Jenos to the other man she could tell that he knew him too. But how? Who was he? She watched as he approached, shifting nervously from one foot to the other. When he looked up slightly so that his eyes were just visible through his hair, she spotted a tattoo on his neck.
"That tattoo looks a lot like yours," she murmured to Jenos, not missing the similarities between the XI on his neck and the III on this other man's. "Do you know him?"
It was obvious he did. Only a moron wouldn't be able to tell. But all the same, she felt it appropriate to ask. He'd explained a little of his past to her, and she a little of hers to him, but that didn't mean that either of them knew everything.
ooc:: I wasn't sure how much Jenos would have told her, soo... I can edit the post if you would have had him tell her everything.

Jenos heard Toni but didn't say anything not to be rude its just he was just too focussed on the male that said his number. Jenos couldn't move he felt like he was stuck in that one spot. Jenos trying not to seem shocked at all said "III."
The male looked to the side at Jenos with his eyes yellow. The male put a smurk on his face like a serial killer look. Number (III) was known for being non-stopable until that stupis number "XIII" showed up. After the male looked at Jenos like that he walked pass him and went closer t Jenos' parents' grave to place the buoquet of white lilies in front of it. The male kneeled to the ground bowed his head and began to pay his respet to his parents.
Jenos was still frossed when he told Toni that (III) was part of the group called The Kodiac. Jenos whipered this though because he didn't want to be rude to his parents and the people that could be paying their respects to someone else.

Toni listened to Jenos' explanation with silent fascination and, admittedly, slight horror. "Wait... so Three is from Kodiac? And you can tell because he has that tattoo?"
Toni took a step away from Jenos and eyed him nervously. She wasn't stupid--she knew that if Jenos could tell that this Three character was an assassin from Kodiac by his tattoo, then that meant that his own tattoo must mean the same thing. Jenos was an assassin.
Was, or still is? an unbidden voice at the back of her mind murmured. She bit her lip and swallowed hard, her heart thundering away in her chest and her breath coming in quiet gasps.
Jenos hasn't tried to hurt me, she reasoned with the voice.
Yet, the voice pointed out. He hasn't tried to hurt you... yet. And just because he hasn't hurt you doesn't mean he hasn't hurt others.
"No..." she murmured aloud, shaking her head frantically in a pointless attempt to get rid of the voice. "No, he... h-he wouldn't... couldn't..."
And what makes you so sure?
Toni stared at Jenos, wanting desperately to run but finding herself unable to. Her legs ignored her as she begged them to move. After a long moment, her rush of adrenaline passed, and she took a deep breath.
There was no reason to fear Jenos. If he were truly still honed to kill and a part of the group of assassins, why would he react as he had to seeing Three? Slowly, she forced herself to stand beside him again, breathing evenly, albeit deeply.
"W-what's he doing here, at your parents' grave?" she finally managed to ask.

Jenos could tell that whenever he told Toni that 3 was apart of the Kodiac that she started to back away from him. It hurt him to think that she actually didn't trust him like he thought she did. If Jenos wanted to have killed Toni he would have but he didn't he was protecting her. He was protecting her from the Kodiac now because once the Kodiac sees you hanging out with a person they believe it is their job to kill the person that the other person is hanging out with.
number 3 got up after praying for his parents. He turned around looking at Jenos now. He asked " So...11... When are you going to come heal our group? Number 5 is dying."
Jenos then replied "I don't know if i am coming back or not.....Because they need to treat me with more respect and not just a towel monkey."
Jenos replied to Toni "number three is one of my long lost brothers. His name is Chase Apothethy."

Toni gave an "oh" of realization. Yes, she remembered now. In the vision she'd seen in the forest, Jenos had been reunited with his family. This Chase was the one he'd been yelling at, and who had yelled at him in return. She'd almost forgotten the event, but now with Chase right in front of her it all came rushing back.
"It's... good to meet you, Chase," she mumbled at last, shifting imperceptibly closer to Jenos. She didn't know who Chase was, beyond him being Jenos' brother. Jenos she knew and had come to trust, and she felt far safer closer to his side.
Toni wasn't sure what would happen now. The two bothers had been talking about Kodiac, that much was obvious. Another member by the name of Five was apparently dying, and Chase asked Jenos to come back to heal him. Jenos told him that he wasn't sure if he planned on returning.
"But if someone's dying and you're the only one who can heal them, shouldn't you go?" she ventured nervously.
She knew she was treading on thin ice, not sure where to step or if there were cracks. She didn't like the thought of Jenos hurting anyone, but if he could help someone... well, wouldn't that be a good thing?

Jenos could sense Toni come closer to him. He felt better now that she trusted him enough to come back next to him.
Chase looked at Toni and then looked at Jenos. Chase said "Well 11.... Are you going to help 5 or not, and whats with the girl. Why is she here and what are you doing here at my parents grave? What are planning on doing you blood thirsty animal."
Jenos strated to get mad. His blood started to boil. Jenos closed his eyes to calm himself. Jenos replied to Toni "I don't want to help five. All he is going to do in return is hurt me, by branding my number deeper and deeper into my neck to were i won't be able to talk for a month. I am sorry Toni but I just cant force myself to heal him." Jenos closed his eyes again feeling gilt from not wanting to help a dying person. Jenos started to get even more mad when Chase said he was a blood thirsty animal. [remember Chase doesn't know he is related yet.]
Jenos opened his eyes and looked at Chase with eyes that looked like daggers. "They aren't just your parents you know. They are mine too." Jenos said raising his voice. Jenos took a deep breath and then said " I am so sorry Toni, I didn't mean to raise my voice or make you said or made in any way. I am just a little aggravated right now." Jenos walked over to Toni putting his hand on her shoulder and whispering in her ear "I am so sorry for this, I didn't plan on this happening."
Chase stood there in shock of what Jenos had just said. Chase thought "So wait me and this guy are related?"

Toni listened silently as Jenos explained to her why he refused to heal Five, and she swallowed uncomfortably. Life with the Kodiac, at least from what she'd heard, sounded absolutely horrible, and she felt a rush of sympathy for Jenos.
When Jenos pulled her aside and apologized for what was happening, she offered him a small, shaky smile and took his hand in hers. "I know you didn't plan this," she murmured. "I don't blame you. Sometimes things just happen."
Toni then glanced back over at Chase, unsure what to make of the stunned boy. He clearly hadn't been aware in the slightest that Jenos was his brother, and was now trying to cope with the news. She found herself not feeling quite so sorry for him. If it weren't for the fact that Jenos was here with her, she probably would've been scared senseless by him.
She bit her lip and looked down at their parents grave, hoping that in the end this would work out for the best. Jenos loved his brother, she knew, even if he didn't seem to like him very much at this particular moment. He was just worried about him, and she knew it. But that didn't guarantee that Chase would react well. In fact, she sort of doubted it.

Jenos looked as if he was about to cry when he closed his eyes and moved her hand to his lips. Jenos kissed her hand and said "thank you for being the first person not to blame me for something that happened." Jenos was trembling at the thought that she might make him go back and help number five and that she might not like him anymore because of what was going on.
Chase blinked his eyes and lifted his head. "Okay so we are related. I still am not going to act any different. I will not show a weakness for anyone. Unlike you who opened up easily to a girl. What are you just that weak that you cant hold in your unforgivable mistakes. I know one of them had a result of me getting hurt. I hope you wont be able to sleep ever in your life."
Jenos hearing the harsh words coming out of his brothers mouth started to tear in front of Toni and only facing Toni. It was somewhat true that he wanted someone to help him feel better about all the mistakes that he has made but nobody is perfect and Jenos knew this for a fact. Jenos opened his eye wide when he heard his brother say he didn't want him to sleep ever again. Jenos still tearing was thinking "But....But.....I need to sleep somewhat at least a minute a day please i haven't slept in a week." Jenos was use to not forgiving himself making him have long, lonely, sad nights with no sleep except for maybe if he was lucky an hour of sleep. Jenos was really tired even as he stood there. It won't be long before he passes out from over working himself.
