Zuri Makkuro
[/blockquote][/blockquote][/center][/font] Zuri lay on her back in her humanoid form, short black hair smushed against the grass and ground. Music blared into her headphones. One leg was up and the other lay against the ground and to the side. Both her green eyes were shut as the wind played about her face and bangs and rolling grasses around her. Despite the fact that she was, for the most part, fully clothed, She lacked an over shirt and shoes, leaving her in a tank top and barefoot just for the heck of being so.
The Nightmare had been listing to repeats of the same song for the better part of an hour and had begun to sing along, even though the vocals of the song were harsh and almost screamy, she could make the song peaceful and almost like a sick and twisted lullaby.
It’s not what I took from you It’s not what I stole We are born like this
You try your best to mock me You’re always in my way You’ve lost what you’ve been given You’ll get it back today
The time is right to change this To make the life we know They took what we were given We want it back again
[/i][/blockquote] Her voice carried on the winds around the meadow.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

Careful not to make much noise, Snieg walked through the meadow with slow and careful strides. The fresh air and silence was what he had come out to enjoy, away from the clutter and chaos that usually served as a bane for him. With his head down and his hand's inside the pockets of his hoodie, he walked on wards to a area where he thought it might be good to sit for awhile.
Suddenly his ear's perked at the sound of singing, and a faint backdrop of music. Turning on the heel's of his human form, Snieg looked towards where the music was coming from. No...nobody is usually around this area of the meadow he thought nervously. Slowly he started to make his way to wards the sound. Out of curiosity he wanted to see who else would be out in the meadow.
Nearing some thick grass he slowly sank down to conceal himself. Drifting silently through the forest of green until he could partially make out a form of a girl laying down in the more exposed of the field.

Zuri Makkuro
[/blockquote][/blockquote][/center][/font] Completely oblivious, Zuri Makkuro lay on the grass and let the song end and allowing the headphones to continue down her list of songs, playing the next melody on the list. It was then that even though the thrum of music, an out of place sound came to her ears, the sound of something rustling the grasses unnaturally. It wasn't the wind, no, the wind didn't make that kind of noise when it rolled through emerald blades of grass. It was something alive... and probably on two feet.
Subtly she dug her bare feet into the soft dirt of the meadow and felt around for the source of the vibrations, and it wasn't long until she found it. It was male, and he was tall. He seemed unarmed and seemed to not mean much of any harm. So, she decidedly ignored him.
A few moments passed before she sat up and pulled off her headphones, turning towards where she had last felt his vibrations. "I know you're there. Come on out, I won't hurt you."

Snieg had been crouched low in the grass, his brown hoodie and green shirt blending with his surroundings. After watching the girl for almost a minute, she suddenly sat upright. But before Snieg could even duck down lower, the girl's voice spoke out to him.
In a nervous panic Snieg turned and dropped into a almost sitting crouch, pulling his hood over his messy brown hair as if he thought it could render him invisible. Oh no....oh no.....what to do...what to do.....should I say something he thought as he started to nervously shake. What would I even say.....'Sorry I was watching you'.....crap this is so humiliating....maybe I could try and sneak away if I'm quiet enough. Slowly Snieg lifted his head as he made a effort to sneak away. Everything seemed to be going fine, untill his foot came down hard upon a dead twig causing it to snap.

Zuri Makkuro
[/blockquote][/blockquote][/center][/font] The Nightmare waited for several moments before standing and walking towards the high grasses where she knew Snieg was hiding because of his movements. She dropped down and to a crouch directly in front of him and stared at him with wide, curious eyes. He was cute, in an awkward teenager way.
"Hello." she said nonchanlantly with a nice, wide grin. She didn't think him creepy or weird for hiding. As far as Zuri's thought process went, he was just that: awkward and nervous like all teens are.
After taking another moment to look him up and down, she said, "My name's Zuri. Zuri Makkuro."

Snieg had frozen stiff like a deer in head-lights when he had stepped on a twig. But that didn't seem to compare with the surprise of the girl suddenly appearing in-front of him a moment later. Snieg could have sworn his heart had stopped for a moment as his senses jumped all over while screaming 'GET OUT OF THERE'.
"My name's Zuri. Zuri Makkuro" , came the girl's voice suddenly.
As if by reflex, Snieg looked towards her and blurted out in a shaky voice "I'm..m...S..Snieg St..Stworzenie". And either from embarrassment....or the fact that his knee's were sore from crouching for so long, Snieg tumbled backwards into a sitting position.

Zuri Makkuro
[/blockquote][/blockquote][/center][/font] "Snieg Stworzenie? I heard about you, you're the new kid!" The nightmare brightened at the thought of meeting someone. In general, people knew her to be quite friendly. It was only natural that a new person would be frightened of her. Just like they would be frightened of everyone else at a school like Chimera. He must've thought she was using her skin too. Oh poor misguided souls...
Zuri moved to sit down beside Snieg, drawing her knees up and looking at him with slight curiosity. "Where are you from?" She asked nonchalantly. "I lived in Moscow before I moved here." This was actually not a lie. She lived in Moscow for several years before moving to America to live among others like her.

Snieg was a bit embarrassed that anyone even knew he existed at the school. Tilting his head down to hide his face he spoke in a quiet voice. "I...um...I was from Poland originally....and I actually have been attending the school for almost three years now.....". Already his face had started to turn a bit red from sitting beside the girl, it was the first time that a stranger had been friendly to him. Pulling his knee's up to his chest, Sneig rested his arms on them. "s...so" he muttered as he tilted his head just enough to see Zuri out the corner of his eye, "whe..when did you start attending the academy?".

Zuri Makkuro
[/blockquote][/blockquote][/center][/font] It was Zuri's turn to blush a little. She kept forgetting that everyone here was new to her. She didn't attend the academy to begin with so she had no idea who was new and who was not, she just knew what was a student and who wasn't a student, and in her mind that was more than enough for her to know. She recovered quite well after her amazing blunder.
"Ah, well, actually, I don't go to the school. I work in Colleger Town, but that's about it for my affinity with the school." she looked at her toes and began to play with her headphones a little before laying back on the dew soaked grass. It re-wettened the back of her shirt, but she seemed either to not notice or not care. "I guess that';s not true... I used to go to the school but I graduated last year and never bothered with going to the college."
She stared at the sky blankly for a moment. "I lived in Russia before coming here..... It was very cold..."

Snieg turned his head towards Zuri a bit more. "So....did you like Russia?" he asked in a curious tone. Snieg was still just trying to make idle conversation, the whole situation seemed to make him nervous. But he had already stopped being tense, his arm's were already starting to loosen around his knee's, and his face wasn't flushed as it had been a moment before. Lifting his head a bit higher he added, "I...i've...wanted to see....russia in the past".

Zuri Makkuro
[/blockquote][/blockquote][/center][/font] Hearing the question Zuri gave a noncomitted shrug. She never really thought about Russia much these days. She thought more about the candy she ate instead of doing her job like she was supposed to be doing. But hey, she hadn't been fired yet, so she must be doing something right.
"Cold. Cold yet pretty." She stated, turning to him with curious eyes as he stated that he wanted to go to Russia. "Where your heaviest winter coat."

Snieg let out a small chuckle at Zuri's comment. "I'll remember that" he replied with a small awkward smile. With his right hand, Snieg brushed aside some of his brown hair from his eye's. Snieg then noticed something on Zuri's shoulder, "uh....umm.....there.....is a centapede....kinda...crawling across your shoulder" he said as he raised a finger to point at it. It was a big brown one about the size of someones thumb, and as long as their finger-tips to their elbow. "And....it looks....kinda big" he added.

Zuri Makkuro
[/blockquote][/blockquote][/center][/font] Zuri was happy that the other seemed to ber opening up to her a little at a time. When he said something about a centipede being on her shoulder, she turned where he pointed and looked straight into big black orbs. The Nightmare could feel fear coursing through him like blood. The poor thing was scared out of its wits, but was too afraid to move. She had been sitting still so long that the creature had mistaken her for a part of the landscape.
A wave of utter calm was inserted into his head, as she lifted up her hand to the shoulder, urging him forward without saying a word. It scuttled forward and she set it back on the grass where it continued on its merry little way.
"He seemed nice." she said off-handedly, watching the brown bug walk away.

Snieg was surprised and slightly astonished at Zuri's reaction. Clearing his throat a bit, he began to speak. "w..wow....most would have crushed the centipede". Shifting himself around in a timid manner, "D...do...you like...insects?" came his embarrassed question. Tilting his head down so that his hair covered his eye's once again, Snieg tried to hide the fact his face had started to redden. "Cause...i..its okay....if you don't".

Zuri Makkuro
[/blockquote][/blockquote][/center][/font] "Insects? Mm... I suppose so. I don't like that people hurt and kill things that barely have much of a lifespan as it is." She watched the place where the centipede had vanished away. The Nightmare hazarded a glance at Snieg's emotions, which she had tried to be curteous to and try not to look at.
She found that he seemed to be nervous and at the same time slightly embarassed... it was interesting to see.
"What about you? Do you like insects?"
