Devon walked through the woods. He had walked all the way from his dorm looking for a place to shed the human skin he wore and fly freely if only for a few minutes. His green crystaline eyes looked around glowing from the moonlight. No one seemed to be around and he couldnt take the skin any longer. He opened and flew out. He was really not any true gender but instead a clockwork owl-like demon. He flew up into the air, his crytaline green eyes were now truly glowing almost as bright as a cars head lights. Devon flew accros the night sky with the full moon above him. He had been flying for a while when he decieded he would land in the small clearing up ahead. He landed and the cranking of his gears could be heard. The noise was comforting to him, it would ward off anything that could hurt him, and also it spoke to him about how much life he had left in him. He had about 50 years before having to be re-wound once more. He looked around the green beam of light that was cast from his eyes illuminated the clearing as the fog started to roll in.

Kayrynn was perched up on a branch near the clearing when she heard an aweful racket in her tender ears.
What is that aweful noise? She thought to herself as she laid her ears back flat on her skull. She looked towards the sky and saw a huge figure fly over head, the closer it got the louder the noise.
Laying low to the branch she watched it land in the clearing. The fog started to roll in. What is this thing? Time for a closer look...
Kayrynn jumped silently down onto the ground, softening her landing by spreading her wings. She stalked around the owl-looking object, her movement almost unseeable thanks to the thickening fog. It seemed to be made of clock-work... But what ran it? Hmm. Only one way to find out...
"Hello there. I am Kayrynn. And you might be?" She said, bodly stepping out into the green glow that came from the creatures eyes.

Devon twitched when he heard the voice that introduced it's self. His long tail twitched it's meanacing spike gleaming in hte faint green light that now narrowed like a spotlight on Kayrynn. Devon twitched his head a few times in a rocking motion trying to recognize the creature he saw in front of him I am Devon Clockwork, ah a Kludde?. He obsereved the creature in front of him, dark fur and splendid wings, she was almost taller than a human as well. Well then what can i do for you tonight m'lady? he asked her the noise of his gears somewhat lowering as his body stopped moving. His tail started to sway side to side as a way to remind anyone watching that he could be dangerous if he needed to. His wings folded over his back and he straigtened up wooded plates clacking and small pops from gears switching around for each of the different movments.

Devon? The name reminded her of familiar times in familiar places. The memories must stay where they belong for now, for she had no clue what this odd contraption was and how lethal it could be. Although, from the looks of it, it could do a lot of damage.
Her black wings were folded and held tightly against her back. The green glow that came from it's eyes had narrowed and fell upon her now. It made her feel a little weird... None the less she bowed her head lightly, keeping her eyes on Devon. " Ah, Devon. A pleasure to meet you." She was always taught to be polite to everyone she came across. You never know when you need allies.
"As for asking something of you, I have nothing to ask. Although if you would like a bit of company I would love to join you on this fabulous night." Her head raised, she stood before Devon and contemplated on wether this was a good idea or not.

Company? my what a rare request for my kind He nodded with the sound of clacking gears Of coarse, I would be glad for some company tonight. Devon spread his wings and glided down to the ground. The fog was starting to clear up a little bit but still lay heavy around the area And the fog is perfect for remaining hidden in as well. Devon looked at the kludde and smiled or at least did his best to smile, he wasn't made to smile but he could make something that seemed like a smile at least. Anywhere we should go? Devon asked still feeling a little nervous about Kayrynn I was just flying around almost aimlessly before, but if there is a place you'd rather go to, I'm fine with it.
