[Riyu]

Naki blinked as she watched Reynard walk into the healing light the man had in his hand. She'd never seen healing magic before, and she thought it was quite beautiful looking.The only magic she knew was that of ice, but she knew how to use it extensively, and she hop one day to master it. She also had her hand to hand, well, more like palm fighting for her really.. She hadn't realized they were training, but it made sense now. That's why he hadn't attacked Reynard while he was down like if they were fighting. Although, maybe it was only her family that fought like that. He didn't seem to fight without a good reason, so she doubted he would attack her now. Drifting off in her thoughts, she snapped back to reality as the man addressed her, asking of her name.

"Naki Yamimoto.."

She had to admit she was interested in this type of training. Reynard seemed to want to continiue even though he had been injured. When she had trained with her father,he would stop when he believed she had disgraced him enough for the day. Why would someone train them and then heal them? Wasn't recovering from one's injuries part of growing stronger ?
Naki admitted to herself she really didn't understand.

"Is it customary to heal someone while training them..?"

She asked politely, just as she had been taught, the curiosity proving to be too much for her to ignore.

[Erzbet Bathry]

Erzbet was vaguely aware of the other two fighting. She could tell there was a newcomer as well. But all she could think of was her opponent's empty hands. No metal, no advantage. She didn't think he could fight that well without them. If he could, why would he be using them in the first place? She took her chance and, in less than a second, was on all fours, covered in fur. It felt amazing to be in her panther skin again. But she didn't take time to appreciate it. She lunged for Vincent, hoping he was still lamenting the loss of his precious metal.

The light seeped over Reynard, seeping into his fur and muscles. Cassiel watched as the light healed the cuts on his body, his strained tired muscles relaxed and slowly regained their energy. Cassiel felt the pain of Reynards wounds, he sat rigid. His eyes lost focus as he took in the pain, his features stayed a blank sheet. Slowly the light faded, Cassiel's eyes focused quickly. He stood then and looked at Nani speaking plainly

"My name is Cassiel." He stopped for a moment then picked his words

"Yes, in my world healing is customary." He went into detail

"When I was a boy I was trained in the arts of combat, every angel.. Man or woman is.. We are trained in all elements and forms, hand to hand, steel to steel, and magic to magic." He paused and looked off for a moment continuing

"When we would fight we would fight to near extinction before our master would take pity on us, our sessions lasted weeks or months. We are trained for nothing but to combat evil forces, it is as His Grace commanded." He looked back at Nani, his gold eyes holding nothing. He turned then to Reynard and spoke

"Are we ready to continue?" He knew the answer, he had taken all fatigue and injuries from Reynard giving him, a second wind, if you will. He offered a small praise to the Kludde for his courage and determination

"Your doing well Reynard, It pleases me to know you dont give up." He offered a small nod to him and started walking back to the other side of the feild, he spoke to Nani as he walked

"If you are willing Mrs. Yamimoto I would not mind if you joined Reynard, he can tell you the rules." He made it to his spot, his feet stood in the exact same spot as he was before. He crossed his arms and stood, his white clothes blew lightly in the wind as he stood, he thought about using his wings if Nani joined but figured he would try to not use them at first.

Reynard couldn't believe how much better he felt. He felt even better then he had before. Now he had a chance. Cassiel really would make the perfect ally. However Reynard had a feeling that he would never have any influence over the man. Cassiel worked on a higher plane then Reynard did.

"Well," Reynard said in to Naki, "No weapons or magic are allowed. Other then that everything goes. Want to join?" Reynard was unsure of how to feel about the girl joining the training. While it would be nice to have help fighting Cassiel he didn't want her to slow him down. Although it probably would be helpful to learn how to fight effectively with someone you barely knew. Before now he had only fought with people he had known. It would be a learning experience trying to adjust his fighting style to fight alongside the girl.

Naki knew she wanted to join the training before she even heard the rules. She desperately needed the practice, and not to mention she missed fighting everyday like she used to. No magic or weapons...hmm, that meant she would have to keep her knives out of this along with her ice. It made the situation a bit complicated, especially adding in the fact she was working with someone she didn't know. She decided to gain the experience anyway.

"I would be happy to join you in training.."

She gave the small customary bow that had been engraved upon her memory and took her fighting stance beside Reynard. She put her weight on her back foot, placing one hand in front of her body and the other to guard her torso. She calmed her breathing and watched
Cassiel who simply crossed his arms and waited, obviously expecting them to make the first move.

"Whenever your ready ,Reynard..."

Cassiel's eyes switched in between the two across the feild, he watched Nani and Reynard trade a few sentences hearing every word. He could feel their worry about fighting with eachother, he spoke loudly so they could hear

"You now have strength in numbers Reynard, even if it is someone you dont know you still have an advantage." Cass uncrossed his arms and continued

"You two arent completely in tuned to eachother's movements, but you can still make your teamwork shift the balance into your favor." He rolled his shoulders then, closing his eyes he pulled the illusion from his metallic wings.


Suddenly large metal coated wings appeared from his back, Cass stretched his wings for a moment. The metal on his wings gleamed bightly around him, the feathers looking deadly as they layed flat and parallel to eachother as if they were blades stacked on top of one another. He offered a small smile to the both of them and spoke in an almost pleased voice

"You have gained an ally, I have gained my wings." His stance was non-chalant almost as he shifted his wings slightly, he closed his fists then making the sturdy bones inside of them pop and crack. He let his hands release slowly, keping his arms to his sides and his hands and arms hanging loosely. Turning slightly aiming the toes of his feet at the two, his left leg slid out slightly giving him a wider more stable stance. He felt almost to comfortable in his skin, breathing slowly and evenly not letting the pressures of battle enter his mind.


He felt things slowing then as he slowed himself to a peaceful mind state, the wind that brushed along his clothes seemed slower; almost lazy as it caressed his bare arms. His eyes turned a hard steel then as he stared indefinatly at the two across the field, he would see how they worked together before making his moves. Cass's mind flicked through the ovbious logic in a 2 vs 1, he wouldnt let the two take control that easily.

Reynad had to admit he was impressed at Cassiel's wings. Now Reynard didn't have the advantage of more limbs than Cassiel. Still Reynard hoped that with the girls help he would be able to wound Cassiel again. Still Cassiel had been going easy on him earlier and Reynard doubted he would be so easy on him now. Not to mention Cassiel's wings looked just as sharp as Reynard's.

Reynard sized up the situation. Obviously he couldn't just rush in and attack that would be pure foolishness. However what would happen if both of them attacked at once? Even with Cassiel's insane speed together they should be able to get at least on hit on the man. However could he trust the girl to understand what they were going to do?

After a couple seconds of deliberation Reynard decided that there was no reason to hide his plan. It wasn't exactly complex and Cassiel would pick up on it the second they started moving anyway.

"Ok you get his left and I'll get his left" With that Reynard leaped forward at top speed and started sprinting towards Cassiel angling slightly towards his right side. Hoping the girl would follow. He stretched out his wings one to counter Cassiel's right wing and the other to either support his first wing if it needed it or to strike Cassiel's back preventing him from escaping that way. At the same time he stretched out his front feet attempting to claw at eithor Cassiel's chest, or if Cassiel managed to block Reynard then at the hand or foot that had done the blocking.

Ideally the girl would mimic what Reynard had done and Cassiel wouldn't have anywhere to run or enough limbs to block all of the attacks.

Naki watched Reynard go, and then decided to go along with it. Unlike her current ally, she stayed in her current form. She wasn't underestimating, just simply testing out what kind of damage Cassiel could do. She sprinted quickly towards Cassiel, quickly reaching a good speed and launched herself at his other side when she believed he was distracted with Reynard.

Quite glad she had worn her gloves today, she used her hand to move to block Cassiel's wing in case it went to block her attack, knowing she could take the pain if needed. She sent her knee to aim toward his chest or shoulder, and quickly went to jab two fingers into the pressure point on his neck.Normally she would have aimed for artery to cause internal bleeding or a blackout, but since it was training, she only wanted to disable him.

Cassiel watched as Reynard sprinted toward him, Reynard had angled himself to his left side while Naki had taken his other side. He figured they would start with a split and move in from both sides, his eyes shifted quickly as they both came closer.


Naki hadnt changed into her Kludde form as Reynard had, he noted this with slight appreciation. Reynard was coming closer and closer, his claws outstreched to dig his nails into an part of his body that tried to stop him. He caught sight of his wings extending out to stop his own, Cassiel had to do this carefully. Naki had jumped sending a knee at his chest, her hand was carefully placed to her side to stop his wing.


Cassiel stood he was angled more towards Reynard then Naki, Reynard was going to reach him before Naki would. Cassiel decided to not make a point to harm either of them their first go, Reynard was only a couple a feet from him now, Naki was following up only seconds behind him.


Cassiel thrust back his wings, stepping back 2 paces quickly to give himself enough room to not hit either of them with the bladed wings. His wings came forward in a flash clashing together in a loud thunderous clap of metal, the motion had sent a vortex of wind and sound at both of them. They both had been aiming in the same direction from different angles with their attacks, the ends of his wings had struck together in the spot he was standing.


He could see both Reynard and Naki were extremely close to the spot at this point, he felt the backlash of the wind hit him as the sound of his metal wings clashing together resounded across the feild. He knew the attack wouldnt do much harm but it kept him from having to strike either of them yet. He would let them try to coordinate their attacks with precision and accuracy, he hoped that their first attempt was just a test.

Reynard felt himself blasted back by the force of Cassiel's wings. It didn't do any damage but Reynard was disappointed that his plan had failed. He had been so sure he had covered all the exits. The problem was Cassiel's speed. He and Naki couldn't move fast enough to counter it. Still at least it looked like Naki wouldn't be holding him back. She had enough knowledge to aim for pressure points.

Reynard tried to think of what their next mode of attack should be. However since he couldn't think of anything off the top of his head he decided to let Naki take the lead this time. He gestured to her to lead the way this time. Maybe what was needed to hurt Cassiel was a new head.

Naki was thrown back by attack alaong with Reynard, but simply twisted her body in a graceful movement to land on her feet.Now that she knew a bit more about Cassiel's abilities,it wouldn't be as hard to think of a plan. An idea came to her, and believed it could work if timed properly. She decided to also remain in her human form for now.

"Alright, he's just testing our teamwork right now, but soon he'll start to get serious. You run in and try to swipe his feet from under him. I'll handle the rest."

She then nodded signalling it was time to move before dashing towards Cassiel, right when she reached him, she crouched down and launched herself in a nimble backflip over him, reaching down and aiming her two fingers in a blur for a spot in his left shoulder which would render it useless for a while. Landing quickly she turned and aimed a fierce kick to his lower back, so if Reynard's attack knocked him down she'd still have a target.

She moved fiercely, she seems to not be testing the waters any further. Cassiel watched as she swiftly jumped over his 6'3 form doing a back flip in the process, her hand came down in a blur aiming for a the nerve endings in his shoulder to numb it. He shifted to the right exactly one inch before the girls fingers hit him, her fingers had jabbed into the hard muscle of his shoulder. She landed nimbly behind him and aimed a swift kick for his lower back, Cassiel looked back just in time to see it coming but did nothing to stop the blow.


He felt the exerted force and inertia of her kick as it connected, He leaned back quickly arching his back. His left wing shot out then, aiming at the center of her torso to knock the wind from her. The rounded wing tip was aimed perfectly to her torso, Then as he shot out his wing his left arm came over and back in a flash, as her leg had connected with the lower part of his back. In that moment as her leg stayed connected finishing its exertion of force, he shot out his wing and swung his arm up and around to wrap under her leg and get a hold of her.

Reynard listened to the Naki's plan and decided to do as she had asked. He didn't have much to lose and maybe whatever it was the girl was planning would work.

Reynard dashed towards Cassiel slightly behind Naki preparing to knock Cassiel off his feet. The girl jumped gracefully over Cassiel and landed a blow on his shoulder although Cassiel managed to keep her from hitting a pressure point. She landed and aimed a kick at Cassiel's back. Reynard instantly took the opportunity to leap at Cassiel's legs in a diving tackle. His wings might scrape Cassiel but he was mainly just trying to knock Cassiel down. Even luckier for him Cassiel wouldn't be able to regain his balance using his own wings since they were aiming for an attack at Naki.

Ideally Reynard's blow would knock Cassiel down and prevent the wings from hitting Naki allowing her to put in another attack. If he did manage to knock Cassiel down then he would attempt cut Cassiel's legs with his claws and wings hopefully restricting his mobility.

The fact that Cassiel had turned her attack into a counter didn't really surprise her. Why would he be training others if he wasn't even a qualified fighter. She was still a bit dazed from his wing knocking into her, but then she noticed Reynard heading their way. To distract Cassiel, she quicklyattempted to grab onto the hand that was grabbing onto her with one hand, and with the other, made a quick reach for the wing that had hit her, trying to hold him into place so Reynard could strike.

Once she thought she'd given her ally enough time to attack, Naki attempted to free herself by aiming a harsh jab to the back of Cassiel's neck, and then aimed for his other shoulder, hoping one of her hits landed.

Cassiel didnt have time to pull his wing back to strike Naki again, he shifted it forward instead moving it fast against Naki's hands and attacks. His wing shoved them away effortlessly, his left hand and arm had wrapped around her leg. His hand gripped her calf with iron force, Reynard had jumped for his legs hoping to shift his planted feet from under him.


Cassiel twisted his body to the right as Reynard came flying for him, he pulled Naki's leg with him. Using some strength he lifted Naki slightly and swung her into Reynard's path, releasing her in a timed fashion back into Reyard. The two were starting to create a pattern in their attacks, he took the oppourtinty as he released Naki to strike once. He started forward twisting to his left this time, his wings came up in an instant.


The bladed wings spun quickly as he rotated himself, the wings edges aimed for Naki's stomach and Reynard side. Cassiel would not stop his attack this time, the time for pokes and prods were over. His attacks were going to be more controlled, more dangerous, and almost life ending if the two didnt start working a little harder to take him down. His wings cut through the air like hot knives through butter, looking for the soft flesh of their skin as they paraded through the air unmercilessly.
