"Tch," Anouk said, wrinkling her pale nose. She was not that old at all, but she was getting ever closer to the sensitive age of 30 "I'm not old, it's called premature graying. I used to be blond," she ran her thin hand through her hair, flipping it in the general direction of the girl. She preferred the white to the blond. She could dye it perfectly, and the color stayed so well. Or so that was what she told herself.
While Anouk had been fondling her hair the purple-head had begun to create a bowl around Illia "Hey, no!" she yelped, getting to her feet and trying to cover as much of the bowl with her body. There could be unsuspecting humans in here "What are you doing?" she nearly screeched in a terse whisper. She looked over her shoulder. No one had noticed, good. With a withering glance to the munchkin Anouk put her finger against the ice. It fell soundlessly to the ground in a million tiny pieces.
"Are you INSANE little girl?" she asked dubiously, kicking the last few noticeable pieces of ice into the wreckage, which was more or less flaming. She shook her head.

Illia remained on her back, staring up at the sky. She was pretty much gone by now. The chimera flinched slightly as some of the remnants of the ice bowl fell on her. She inhaled sharply as the ice slowly melted. She finally stood up, but didn't stop watching the sky as she paced in a small circle, apparently oblivious to the fact that she was now dripping with the melted ice water.
"Sheesh, doesn't Crane keep a leash on these things?" She asked no one in particular, "We could've been killed!"
She was suddenly angry as she gazed at the wreckage. This was the third time she was almost killed this year. Doesn't this school have standards? Illia spun around and looked from Anouk to Mizore to the wreckage once again. For a moment she wondered if she should leave before a staff member showed up. Then again, why should she? There's no way they would be blamed for anything. Illia frowned as these thoughts crossed her mind. She was getting too paranoid.

Something big was coming, charging in through the doors at the end of the hallway that weren't demolished by the meteor. The pace was quick and haphazard, slamming to an abrupt halt at the doors, and staring blankly at the damage that's been done.
"Oh boy.... Crane isn't going to like this..."
Oliver Stephen, reigning science and magics teacher had heard the crash from far off, and was forced to resort to his dragon from to get here fast enough. It seemed though that he had still been slightly late.
Oliver was very much the same in his human and dragon forms. He wasn't all that big or imposing, being a sky dragon with a long lithe body and few to no ridges running down his streamlined brown body. His snout was long and shaped like a crocodile's, and he snapped it open and closed as he stared unhappily at the gaping hole in the wall.
"What happened here?"
It sounded like a stupid question, but he wanted to have an eye witness account of the meteor's landing. It was a rare enough occurrence as it was, and Oliver wondered briefly if one of the students had caused it with their supernatural powers. To his knowledge, there were none with the power to smash a meteor into the earth, but you never did know... [/size]

That mess made the staff notice. Mizore wondered if she will be accused. Or rather involved. She just came here and found it, crashed. She wasn't worrying about that. The cute Jack Frost mini doll was frightened. She kinda sound like a maniac, but she's just worried about it. After all, she created little Jack Frost. She was thinking of keeping it like a pet.
She went inside and gently hold on to Lil' Jack Frost. It's just too cute. She ignored the staff and looked at her creation. She wondered what will they think of an excuse.

Anouk waved her arms frantically at the dragon who had appeared "Meteor!" she cried, unable to form a fully coherent sentence. She slowed the flapping until the shaking in her arms was barely noticeable. How could they explain this? It wasn't their fault, no, but Anouk didn't doubt the faculty couldn't find a way to make it. She breathed in and out slowly, formulating the best way to tell Mr.Stephen wile being fully believed. "We were here," she began, glancing at Shirayuki. No help from grape-head. "And then.. I saw-- We saw," she pointed to herself then Illia then back again "A meteorite, no, meteor, coming down," Anouk pantomimed the rock and ice hurtling through the atmosphere with her fist "Bang. Voila." She slammed the fist into her other hand.
She paused, wondering if the creature in the sky would be important to Oliver. It would either make the story more or less believable. Anouk decided not to include it. It sounded more like an excuse than an explanation.

Illia smiled her normal, charming smile as she listened to Anouk's explanation. It sounded absolutely crazy... Or at least it would, had this been a normal school. She looked toward the collapsed part of the observatory before noticing that her hair was dripping wet. She began wringing out her hair as Anouk's frantic account came to an end.
"Yes, what she said... More or less," Illia agreed, "Although... There was something else..."
Illia stopped herself, wondering if she should mention the glowing creature. Well, perhaps Mr. Stephen would know what the creature was. After all, they couldn't possibly be blamed at all for this, right? Who would be able to call down a meteor from the heavens?
"There was this being that we saw... After the comet hit. It was small and glowing..." She spoke slowly, analyzing Mr. Stephen's reactions, "Kinda like a nymph. It flew off toward the forest."

"A nymph? With a meteor?"
It was a little far fetched. Actually, it was extremely far fetched. A nymph chucking comets randomly at students. The absurdity! But... one of the girls, a pooka he thought, was near hysteria at the moment. She couldn't be faking that kind of jitter. Something had spooked her.
Then, it hit him. Crane's meeting. He'd covered something like this, hadn't he? He said if anything weird happened he should treat it as...
"You three." Oliver snapped, quite unusually for such a placid teacher. "You're confined to dorms for the rest of the day. No exceptions."
He raised his voice, addressing the rest of the room.
"And everyone else go directly to Dr. Manner's office!"
Oliver romped up to the meteor, afraid to touch it. He let his tongue loll out, tasting it for anything suspicious. After a moment, he gathered the courage to go near it.
There wasn't much left of it. It had been a giant ball of ice, and now it was a giant puddle of quickly evaporating water. Oliver sifted through the wreckage around it, then, almost as if he was meant to, he found a little scroll of paper.
Ever so delicately, he inched his claws around it and straightened it open. The paper was damp and hot from the meteor, but without ripping it too much, he managed to force it open.
Inside were written two words...
We're coming
Oliver nearly tripped over himself. He was shaking now, and he couldn't seem to stop. That was odd. He didn't feel afraid. Just... nervous was all. A little nervous....
"Oh no... Oh no oh no oh no..."

The dragon seemed to be weighing his options, or perhaps trying to remember something. Was there protocol for this? Anouk doubted it. She twisted the end of her shirt as he spoke. "Why don't they have to?" she asked, raising her voice to what could easily become a very annoying tone. She was an expert at this. Yet a thought occurred to her, why bother? She was about to unleash her sharpened tongue when the dragon wandered over to the meteor. And-- Licked it?
"Hey man," she said "I wouldn't get that **** in my mouth if I were you. You do not know where that has been." Oliver had found something. Anouk couldn't see what. His body was blocking her view. He began muttering under her breath. She dropped her skin and trotted over to him, trying to peer over his shoulder. It was a piece of parchment paper, that much she could tell. What was written on it was lost to her, however.
Feeling a bit exasperated Anouk stepped back, tilting her head and narrowing her eyes. Mr.Stephen was practically convulsing. She highly doubted she would get any information from him. She blocked her image from view and trotted a few feet off. "Screw dorms," she said, loudly enough for the dragon to hear.

Oliver wasn't paying attention to her. Well, not exactly. He heard what she said, and out of habbit issued a verbal warning.
"Watch your mouth-"
He then remembered his situation, and quickly revised his statement.
"Oh! Wait! Everyone to the doctor's now. Forget what I said before!"
This had to be contained. Now. Who knows what kinds of things sould be wrong with this meteor.... And he'd licked it! Not a good idea, in hindsight. He'd check himself into the doctor's as well. He'd make it mandatory for the whole observatory.
School Security arrived even later than he did. He wondered why, but decided not to dwell on it as he went up to the first of the team.
ShadowFiends... Even if they were friendly towards staff, Oliver still didn't like them. They seemed wrong. Evil. But, they seemed to listen to him so...
"Get a Hazmat team in here." He said, to the leader of the group - a particualarly large ShadowFeind. "Scrub it, and make sure everyone gets to the doctor okay."
Without sign that the creatures had heard, they slithered off to do the teacher's will. Oliver shuddered slightly as they passed him, an unfriendly air dwelt about those things.... He shook it off, leaving to go tell Crane.
He had to tell Crane...
"Excuse me." He rushed by the girl that he'd scolded.

Illia watched the exchange between Anouk and Mr. Stephen uninterestedly. Now this only added to the pile of secrets that the school was already hiding from them. It was becoming tiring. She scowled as the dragon hurried out of the observatory. Off to report to Crane, no doubt.
With a sigh, Illia watched these new, creepy beings scuttle about the impact site. Actually, she had never been this close to a meteor before. Obviously. The only time she had ever seen them was when they occasionally streaked past in the night sky. Being so close to one could be dangerous... Perhaps she should stop by the clinic after all. Turning around, she offered no more than a lethargic shrug to the other girls as she trotted down the stairs that were still standing.
