Lily bit into a milk chocolate bar. She sucked on the small hard piece for a bit. In almost an instant it had melted. The creamy goodness filled her month. It was awesome. But soon it was gone. ...Arabella approached the table. She felt tired and needed something sweet and sugary to wake her up. She'd spend a long night typing her report for English class.
She noticed that there was a girl at the table. The girl looked a couple of years younger than she was.
Arabella sat down beside her. "Hi," She smiled and then covered her mouth as she yawned.
Ara was so tired that she didn't realize that she'd just greeted someone else. A stranger. It wasn't like Arabella to go out of her way to talk to someone. She was extremely shy. But then again, it was time to start making new friends. She waited for the girl to reply.

"Umm.... hello" she said nervously. She was also quit shy. She was a little afraid to talk to others. Their were few she could comfortable talk to.

Arabella noticed the new girl walk in a take a seat by the window.
"I'm not being bothered." she said and turned to the shy girl sitting across from her.
"By the way, I'm Arabella Thorne." She smiled and added with another yawn: "And you are...?"

"Lily Flair" she answered. She was nervous talking to this Arabella but maybe someday she wouldn't be.

Arabella smiled. Great. I'm making friends already.
"That's a pretty name. So, you're new to Chimera Academy, right?"
She looked over to the counter where there was fresh glazed donuts, cookies, and candy bars.
"You like chocolate too?"

"Yeah" she quickly replied to both questions. She knew she should try to be less nervous. She didn't have any friends here yet and now was her chance to make one.

"Cool," Ara got up quickly to grab a donut and sat back down. "So, there's a party later today. Do you wanna go? Everyone's gonna be there."
Arabella thought that Lily would like to go. She looks so lonely.
And it's time I got outta my shell and go to one of those parties. Ara added mentally.

Ara smiled at Lily's enthusiasm. It was really good that Lily was breaking out of her shell too.
"It's in the sorority house. And it starts in like an hour!" Arabella said with anticipation. "I'm gonna go back to my dorm and get ready!"
She popped another piece of chocolate into her mouth and smiled at the amazingly creamy taste.
