Toni arched her eyebrow but said nothing. So he'd purposely put the eye-path on, not because his eye was ruined or it didn't work, but because he didn't want it to? How did that make sense? After a moment, though, she simply let it go. An inquiry for another time, perhaps.
She let her hands drop again, this time because she was finished finding out what he looked like. Shifting, she turned her unseeing eyes on the sky for a moment, wondering idly what time it was. A sudden thoguht occurred to her, and she glanced downwards.
"Hey, how high off the ground are we?" she asked laxly. She truthfully didn't care that much, but she hadn't paid attention when she'd climbed up, and now she was curious as to whether or not she would have to try and climb back down or if she could just jump the distance.

Jenos looked at the sky were the moon was. He loved the moon it was always so pretty to him......Jenos replied " You are ten feet up in the air. You could probably jump off if you knew one bones could take it or if your bone would just shatter." Jenos sat there waiting for her reaction to how high they were. He wanted to know if she was scared about being that hgh or not. He has always been a curious person.

"...Oh," Toni said blankly. "Ten feet up, huh? That'd be like jumping off the roof of a bungalo or something, wouldn't it? That doesn't sound overly appealing."
She frowned, thoughtful. There were two possible ways she could get down, and neither of them were overly pleasant to consider. She could either try climbing down, which would mean she'd have to try and navigate blindly--litterally--where to place her hands and feet, or she could jump and risk injury.
With a sigh, she contemplated her two options, and then shrugged. Jumping seemed far less time consuming, and if she got hurt, she got hurt. Carefully, she shimmied to the edge of the branch and allowed her legs to hang down.
Taking a deep breath first to prepare herself, Toni then slid off the branch, landing on her hands and the balls of her feet, sort of like a cat. Safe on the ground, she rolled over so that she was lying on her back.
"That wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be," she said lazily, looking up at Jenos.

Jenos opened his eyes wider as he saw her start to lean over the edge of the branch. When she finally jumped his heart failed from when she jumped to when she was laying on her back. Jenos took a deep breath when he found out she was fine. Jenos then jumped down off the tree landing right next to her and then he layed down. Jenos asked " Tired of the tree are we?" Waiting for a reply afterwards.

Toni smiled and laughed quietly. "A litte I guess," she answered lightly. "I have nothing wrong with heights or anything, I just figured that I might as well get down now as compared to later when you left and I'd try to jump and get a surprise when it was a further drop than I'd expected."
Yawning, she stretched her arms way up before crossing them and shifting so that they were under her head. She sighed contentedly, closing her eyes, and began humming her mother's folksong again. She stopped suddenly when something wet hit her cheek.
"Is it... raining?" But that couldn't be right. Blind as she was, she could still see the pale aura of the moon, and that meant there weren't clouds. And yet, another raindrop hit her face. "Huh... it's showering, isn't it?"
With a laugh, she rolled to her feet and went over to the tree again so that she was sheltered by the thick layering of leaves. She'd made it under just as it started to rain harder.
"Well that was unexpected," she commented, trying to figure out where her new friend had gotten to. "Jenos?"

Jenos smiled as he heard her answer to his question. He felt a drop of water hit his face but didn't do anything about it. He then felt another drop hit his face. He saw Toni get up and head for the tree but he didn't go with her the true is, is that he like feeling rain hit is face because it makes him feel like he is crying and he always felt better after crying. The rain hitting his face gave him a reason to cry because if anyone asked him why he was crying he could always cover the fact that he is and say "What are you talking about I'm not crying. Its just rain on my face."

Toni found that Jenos hadn't moved, his aura still lting perfectly still on the ground. Her expression playfully suspicious, she came back to sit beside him. She didn't generally mind rain, but she hadn't been expecting the sudden onpour.
However, if Jenos didn't mind staying out under the falling rain, then she might as well stay with him. She stretched out on her back beside him again and closed her eyes, smiling as the droplets of water pummelled her skin.
"So I take it you like the rain?" she murmured, inhaling deeply. The smell of rain... nothing could compare. It refreshed all the regular scents of the air, washing away the dust and bringing up the luscious smells of grass and other plantlife.
Not only that, but the sound of rain, too. Whether it was hammering on a thatched roof or falling on trees or grasses, it seemed to sing. Musical and languid was the pattering of raindrops.
Toni almost forgot that she'd asked a question when Jenos responded.

Jeons opened his eyes only to feel rain drop in his left eye. Jenos sat up and said " I like rain and all but I am sorry do you think we can go under the tree now. I know that you just came from over there but the rain will go through my eye patch after a while and it won't dry over night and plus this is my only eye patch." Jenos felt bad now that he was askig her to get back up and go back to were she was but if he didn't have his eye patch on the next day he would be past out for most of the day.

Toni laughed lightly and got to her feet again. "Naw, that's fine," she assured him, traipsing back to the tree and plopping down between a couple of it's roots. She felt rather than heard Jenos sit down next to her and sighed, leaning her head back against the tree trunk.
It was quiet for a time, aside from the rain on the leaves above. It wasn't an awkward silence, as it could have been, but rather comfortable and relaxing. Jenos was easy to get along with, and Toni knew that if she got to know him, they could end up being really good friends. She smiled a little at the thought.
"When I was younger, I used to spend a lot of time outdoors," she said quietly, not exactly to Jenos but not not to him either. "No matter what the weather was like, or what I was doing, be it running around--and falling over, most of the time, since I couldn't see where I was going--or sitting around like this, I felt..."
She cast around for a good word, but couldn't think of a way to describe how being at peace with the world and with nature itself had made her feel. There were too many words that came close but fell short.
"I guess what I'm trying to say is I forgot how nice it was," she said finally. "When the world is as hectic as it is, it's nice to find a place where you feel safe and serene. It's good for clarity and focus."
Toni smiled turned her head in the direction of Jenos' aura, mentally adding that it was also nice to find someone to share the serenity with. She then recalled that she had yet to get him to tell her what had been bothering him earlier. With a short, barely perceptible nod, she promised herself she'd breech the subject later.

Jenos was happy to know that it didn't bother her to move back under the tree. He felt his eye patch only to find that it was completely soaked. Jenos was a little upset now because he hates wearing a wet eye patch. Jenos looked over at Toni and asked her " Do you think I can take my eye patch off? The reason why I am asking you is because I might pass out aftewards." This was big news for Toni even though she might not of even know it. What Jenos was basically saying is that he trust her enough to take care of his body when he was out cold from being too tired from seeing that future.

Toni frowned for a moment, slightly confused. She had no problem with him taking off his eye-patch, of course, that didn't bother her in the slightest. But why would he pass out? She shrugged it off.
"Of course you can take your eye-patch off, Jenos," she told him kindly, erasing her frown and replacing it with a gentle smile.
She understood that this must be something big, whatever it was, and she was glad that he trusted her enough to keep her around while it occurred. If he'd really wanted to, he could've gone back to his dorm and taken it off there.
Toni then leaned back against the tree and prepared herself for whatever it was that was about to happen. She allowed her thoughts to wander as she listened to the rain, and she hoped that Jenos understood that she trusted him, too. That she wasn't going to let anything bad happen to him if he passed out.

Jeno feeling a little nervous about taking off his eye patch looked at Toni but it wasn't a sad or happy look. It was more of a thanks and a flirty look kind of mixed. He decided to take off his eye patch knowing that it would probably mess with Toni's sight. Jenos took off his eye patch to see black ( nothing) which was good naturally but.....Then.....It happened his eye shot through what seemed to be a swirl of colors. He then found out that it was not looking into the future but simply conecting to Toni's right eye. Toni was able to see a swirl of colors in her right eye. His power often affected the people around him and him himself. When he first was able to see into the future he could see out of his right eye fine but then his sight grangually left him in his right eye but sense she was already blind it had the oppisite affect on her. It made it to were she was able to see some but at first it is only going to be for a couple of minutes but the more she is around Jenos when he looks into the future she will eveentually gain sight in her right eye. Jenos then was able to see into the futre and so could Toni for the time being. Jenos was able to see the reunion of him and not just one of his brothers but all three that had gone missing from him. Jenos smilied in his vision for the first time sense he was three. Now that Toni saw all of this she probably got a better understanding of why Jenos was sad earlier. Jenos after five minutes started to lose sight of the vision as it started to flicker away. Toni was able to see the flickers as well because once the vision was done she wouldn't be able to see again untill maybe another time. Jenos then saw his vision vanish to black. Jenos then passed out from using his power for a long period of time. Not knowing he had fell over into Toni's lap he smilied some as he was passed out from seeing his three brothers that he hasn't seen sense he was four were alright which made everything good for him. Expesually seeing from their age in the vision that the would come together real soon.

Toni heard Jenos remove his eye patch, but was distracted almost immediately when something impossible happened. The blackness in her right eye vanished, turning into the landscape in front of her.
She could see.
The moon was a beautiful white orb, slung low and hauntingly in the dark navy sky. The green trees stood tall and proud, protective of all beneath them. The grass swayed gently in the balmly breeze, almost like it was dancing. The rain reflected the starlight, sparkling as it fell to the ground.
Toni took a deep, shuddering breath to stop herself from crying. That would just blur everything and ruin this wonderful moment.
It was then that a swirl of colours whirled through her vision, and she could suddenly see Jenos and a several boys and girls who bore a resemblance to him, and she realized that they must be his siblings. After a moment, the vision faded to black, as did the sight from her right eye.
Everything was enveloped in blackness again, just as Toni was used to. The only thing she could see again was the beautiful greenish glow of Jenos' aura as he collapsed into her lap. The tears she'd fought back before now leaked from her eyes and ran down her face.
Toni had gotten to see for the first time in her life, and the image was forever to be burned into her mind. She realized sadly that she'd never looked at Jenos before the sight had disappeared again, and promised herself that if it ever happened again that would be the first thing she'd do.
She gently rolled Jenos onto his back, keeping his head in her lap, and stroked his hair off of his face. She bent down and pressed her lips to his forehead before pressing her cheek to his so that she could whisper in his ear.
"I don't know what it was you did, Jenos," she whispered, her voice shaking with both her tears and her gratitude, "but thank you."
Toni then let Jenos rest, listening to the rain again and humming impetuously to herself while her hands continued to absently stroke the hair away from his face in an almost loving manner.

Jenos was sound asleep and yet he was starting to cry in his sleep. This wasn't different from any other night that he slept. He always cried when he slept because he was always in so much pain from hating himself because of the night his parents died because he always thought he could of done more to help but now he wasn't cring because of that he was crying because he was happy that his brothers were okay. But...... Like always he had a bad dream but yet it wasn't a bad dream because it wasn't a dream at all. What had happened is his right eye opened when he was asleep changing his eye color from yellow to a swirl of rainbow colors. At this point he was having another vision again into the future and what would happen is that all of these vision will keep happening untill his eye patch is put back on. This time Toni saw the same swirl of colors but this time it led to a not so happy vision. This vision went to the same place with his three brothers and this time his second to youngest brother did not like him at all. His brother started to give him an attitude and looked away revealing his branding of the number three he had. Jenos didn't like this his brother was part of the Kodiac the assasin group the esame group he was in. In this vision though Jenos was acting more like a parent then he ever does. He told his brother "Chase you better listen to me or else you will be sorry." Yeah I know doesn't sound to parently but he wasn't a dad so it didn't really matter yet right. Chase looked at him and said "Why should I listen to you, you don't care about me at all otherwise you wouldn't of left me there with our parents murder leaving me to be torchered for what seemed like most of my life." Jenos then walked over to his brother chase and said I do care about you why do you think I have been searching for you non-stop. SOMETIMES YOU CAN BE SUCH AN IDIOT!!!" Chase then said well if I am so much of an idiot the how about I go kill myself or better yet go kill yourself. Nobody wants you here anyways." Jenos then saw his vision flickering again and so did Toni but this time Toni was left with a blurr in that eye as his vision vanished. Toni could see the things around er now but it was a blurr. Jenos continued to cry but nw it was because of the pain that had hit is heart.

Toni was--ironically--blinded by another swirl of colours and light. She saw the scene of Jenos and his siblings again, but the scene didn't seem as happy as before. One of his brothers turned away from Jenos stubbornly, and branded on the back of his neck was the number three.
"Chase you better listen to me or else you will be sorry," Jenos said warningly.
"Why should I listen to you? You don't care about me at all otherwise you wouldn't of left me there with our parents murder leaving me to be tortured for what seemed like most of my life."
Jenos walked over to his brother and said, "I do care about you. Why do you think I have been searching for you non-stop? SOMETIMES YOU CAN BE SUCH AN IDIOT!!!"
Toni was mildly shocked. Jenos seemed like such a nice guy. Why was he exploding at his brother? Why was he so riled up about the number three on the boy's neck? He had the same sort of brand, it was just a different number. She noted numbly that she didn't know what the brands meant.
"Well if I am so much of an idiot then how about I go kill myself?" Jenos' brother snapped. "Or better yet, you go kill yourself. Nobody wants you here anyways."
Toni flinched. How could he say something like that? How could anyone ever tell their family to go and off themself? The images flickered and died away then, but she found that she retained a little of the vision in her right eye.
Just as she'd promised herself she would, Toni looked down at Jenos' face. She wasn't entirely surprised to find that there were tears on his face. After watching something like that, hearing the harshness in your siblings face, how could anyone remain unmoved.
Toni wiped his tears away for him and murmured soft words of comfort that she was well aware he probably couldn't hear. She felt horrible for him, and wished she could help him feel better. But what could she do?
With a sigh, she admitted defeat and made do with resting her forehead on his and closing her eyes, her hands on either side of his face as she tried to soothe him with her presence. It probably wouldn't work, but that didn't stop her from doing it anyway.
