Jenos still crying could feel warmth on his face. He calmed him to were he was just left tearing and then the tears came to a stop. After ten minutes Jenos finally slept in peace for an hour of his night. All though he didn't mean to Jenos was so much calm, tired, and at peace he started to snore lightly. Not majorly were you cant even thinkn strat it was more like a whisper.

After a while Jenos' tears stopped, and Toni sighed in relief. Now, at least, he'd be able to get some proper sleep and recoupperate a little bit. What with witnessing a family feud like that, he absolutely needed it.
She giggled a little when he started snoring. It was a loud and obnoxious chainsaw snore like her uncle had had when she'd lived with him for a time, but it was still definitely there. It made her feel like she was back home, and that cheered her.
A fair amount of time passed, but Toni stayed where she was, with Jenos' head resting on her lap. She dozed off occassionally, drifting in and out of consciousness with her forehead against his. It was somewhat of a shock when she opened her eyes from what she thought had been a blink to find that the rain had stopped and the sun was rising.
She straightened her back, leaning backwards to stretch out the stiff muscles and reaching her arms up above her head. Yawning, she then dropped her arms back to her sides and sat there for a moment.
"Jenos," she whispered softly, caressing his cheek with a feather-light touch. "Jenos, the sun is coming up. We need to be getting back to the Academy."
It wasn't like Toni wanted to leave, and she felt bad for having to wake him. She liked Jenos a lot, and going back to the school would put and end to this blissful dream-like situation. But they had classes and work, and just because ditching sounded appealing didn't mean it was right.
"I'm sorry, Jenos, but you need to wake up now."

Jenos feeling the sun hit his face woke p not instantly though it was like he was awake physicaly but he wasn't there mentaly yet. Jenos onpened his eyes to find bright light coming from the sun hitting his face. Jenos hated mornings he always wanted the sun to go away for an additional eight hours or so. Jenos then relized that his head was in Toni's lap. Jenos felt a little bit embarrased that his head was on her lap and he was curious how it got there so he asked Toni "Did I fall asleep on your lap because if I did I am so sorry." Jenos now got his head out of Toni's lap and sat up besides her. Jenos felt bad that he had slept the whole night away and that he might of kept Toni from sleeping. Jenos then started to apologize about two dozen times because he felt really bad because she needed her sleep too. Jenos then thought was that the thing that was softly touching me in my dream. It was probably her...oh great she was awake most of the night. As jenos relized that he started to apologize more. He stoped for a minute to put his eye patch on so he wouldn't see the future when he was talking to her. After he got his eye patch on Jenos apologized more. He started to sound like a broken record saying...I'm sorry....I'm sorry.

With a laugh like the tinkling of bells, Toni put a finger to Jenos' lips. It was as funny as it was confusing that he felt the need to apologize. She hadn't minded spending the night out here with him.
"It's okay, Jenos," she giggled, "You can calm down. Yeah, you passed out, obviously, but I was the one to set your head on my lap. Don't worry about it. If I had had an issue with it, I wouldn't have done it."
She smiled at Jenos, trying to let him know that it was all right. The last thing she wanted was for their new companionship to be ruined because of one akward moment. Realizing her finger was still on his lips, she quickly dropped her hand and smiled again to hide her embarrassment.
It was true, she was tired, but she had managed to get a little sleep tonight and she'd make it through the day without too much trouble. Then she'd get a good night's sleep and she'd be all set for the next day. However, that meant that they had to get through today first, and today included classes.
With an almost reluctant sigh, Toni heaved herself to her feet before helping Jenos to his. "Well, it was really nice meeting you Jenos," she said honestly, flashing him another smile. "Maybe we could meet up again sometime."
She then made to walk past him, only to have her usual bad luck decide to make a cameo appearance. Her foot caught on a large root and she stumbled, falling right into a surprised Jenos' arms. Blushing furiously, it was her turn to mumble a thousand "I'm sorry"s as she tried to collect herself.

Jenos was a little bit glad to her that she wasn't mad or that much tired. As he saw Toni get up he decided to get up as well. As Toni started walking she tripped on a large root into Jenos' arms. Jenos was happy that she landed in his arms and not on the hard ground. Jenos then told Toni "Its okay..You just tripped. You cant help that. Plus it was probably from the lack of sleep you got so I'm sorry." Jenos helped Toni get back to her feet. When inside again he started to feel bad about passing out.

"Naw, it's not that I'm tired, I'm just a natural born klutz," Toni said with a laugh. She straightened up and pulled her jacket a little closer as she stepped out from under the shelter of their tree.
She waved cheerfully to Jenos, flashing him a heartfelt smile, before turning and heading in the direction of the girls' dorms. She needed to get her things for class, but her mind wasn't really on that.
With Jenos, she'd felt normal. Not weird or useless because she was blind, but like she was a normal person. She blinked a little at the blurriness in her right eye and grinned. It may be blurry, but she could see.
Toni paused and looked back over her shoulder, biting her lip as she thought for a second. "We should hang out sometime," she called back to him finally. She smiled then and waved again. "Anyway, I guess I'll see you around."
She smiled, knowing that, for the first time she'd used the expression, she meant it literally. Toni then headed off to class, a slight skip in her step.
