The long halls seemed to go on forever, but really, Jaedon was just being impatient. She was always impatient after class. However, she had decided a long time ago that she didn't like to mozy around. Time is money and she didn't have money, ergo...she needed to use her 24 hours
a day wisely. There was only one destination that she had in mind, but penatrating it during a time when everone else was absent was the key. She had no problems with breaking the rules to get what she needed to get. What she
needed right now was time to get the required articles and then meet Miriel. She hated people generally. She viewed them as her arch nemesis. Some people were ok because they used their brains, and Jaedon tollerated
them with equinimity, such an example of this was her friendship with Miriel and few others. There was the other class of people such as: the idiots of society, the annoying jocks who think they are "all that", and the drama queens that think they deserve everything because their parents never gave
them a slap across the face with the hard hand of reality. These are the people that make society savage and ridiculous. No one likes these kinds of people if they have even the slightest knowledge of decency. Miriel wasn't like that.
Finally! Jaedon exclaimed internally as she entered the library and replaced her previous thoughts with more enjoyable ones. She was so excited to finally be in this hallowed room. The love of her life at the moment were the many gorgeous
leather bound suitors that called to her from the shelves with anxious voices. These were the kind of guys that didn't care if you took on more than one of them at a time. Oh, how these book begged her to devour them and take them into her still empty brain.
There was always so much room for improvement, but she had to deprive herself of this palace of knowledge because of classes and the masses who congregated there on occasions. Yet again...her fear of people entered her mind, and even worse were her thoughts of what people tempted her
to do scared her for a moment as she considered the possiblities. She tried her best to focus on what was going on, and her current quest.
She walked to her selected section. History... one of her favorite subjects. History offered a great many wisdoms that, from knowledge, could evolve and create Jaedon into a better being. She picked out one of the thickest books that
she could possibly find and started to skim the table of contents for what she was looking for. She found it almost instantly as she honed her search by thinking of times, dates, and subjects. In this specific search, she was looking for
history on the Chinese, Japanese, and Korean wars, cultural traditions, and most importantly, their religious beliefs and traditions. She found this very interesting for some reason, and none of her previous friends ever really figured out
why. Miriel had still yet to find out why, but Jaedon was going to show her tonight. Jaedon would never split on the subject to anyone else but Miriel at the moment. Secrets were what made her life interesting. She grabbed a few more books on the subject and curled up in a dark corner behind the main doors, her usual hiding spot. Peace and quiet with her best friends, what more could the girl ask for. Her focused emerald eyes ran as fast as possible across the pages. She would lift them occasionally and do a mental scan every once in a
while to see if anyone was in her vacinity other than those entering the library which came in spurts. She was waiting for one person and all of the others could pass by and she didn't care. Finally, after some time, she saw the subject
she was waiting for come walking through the doors. Jaedon lept from her postition to meet her friend.
