Sunlight was pouring through the windows, beating its golden tendrils softly down onto the surface of a Baby Grand Piano. The black smooth surface reflected the light dully away, and out into the rest of the room. The room was silent for a moment, and then the piano began to sing. It was a soft, glorious, and flowing tune that seemed to float into space, stopping time so that all creation could hear it. Then it came to a slow as the voice of a young lady filled the air. It too soared above anything that seemed surreal. The noise was beautiful, soft and caring, like something that guards a baby's mind as he sinks off to sleep. Only this sound cared enough, floated enough, and swayed enough to penetrate any ones mind and take them away to a sweet place of sleep. Damion loved this time that he had with Jaedon. She sang so well, and she had never had voice lessons before in her life. It was like she was made for the soul purpose of singing... As he played the piano for her, she gently went through the song, adding her own feelings and takes on the song. It became her own, and his own music was just the soundtrack to her glorious creation. This was the time that he loved the best. With a dear friend, he was always well in hand.

Neron's dark figure could barely be seen as he lurked through the shadows. His soul needed to be released and the only way for him to do so was through his instrument. He had, had a wearisome past days, his heart was burdened. Now he never would show this to anyone, but he knew that Miriel probably sensed something, though she didn't say anything. Neron's green gaze focused on his violin case that was held securely in his hand. The dull black surface reminded him of his own scales. A sigh passed his lips as he came closer to the door of the music room. "Hopefully nobody will be in there....If my luck is kind to me." It was just then that he heard the sound of the piano and soft gentle voice blending together with great skill. "I should have known....stupid luck" He turned, but he couldn't let himself just walk away. "They don't know I'm here so I might as well enjoy myself." Leaning against he wall his eyes closed and he listened. It took him back to his quieter years, when he was young. The freedom that he had to be himself. Then it drifted to his more resent years, knowing Miriel and getting used to her smiling face, and of Jaedon. It was just then that his eyes opened slightly. "Jaedon...."" The thought flew through his head as he looked at the band room door, that was her voice wasn't it? He didn't know she could have sung so....well. There was such a gentleness and beauty on her voice, totally unlike her. But who was on that Piano? Stepping forward Neron entered the room. There Neron and Jaedon were side by side, enjoying each others presence. He waited for the song to end before interrupting them. "Ah, it seems like you guys are having a good time. Though I must say Jaedon, I think your voice far surpasses the mindless beating on the keys." He smiled brightly at Damion, joking. Though he doubted Damion would get the joke.

Jaedon knew that someone was at the door, she knew that someone was listening. She almost stopped her singing because of that fact. Then she noticed that she was close to the end of the song. This was going to be a pretty short hearing for them, and that was satisfactory for Jaedon. She sang with joy, and when the song ended, she looked to Damion. "How did I do? Was it okay?" Her expectant eyes were waiting for a "You did great, but..." She knew that she had messed up. She wished that she could sing perfectly.
Damion just smiled when she asked. "Of course you did well my dear! It was perfect!" He knew that she thought she had done very badly. Jaedon always underestimated how well she sang. It was like she couldn't, or wouldn't, bring herself to believe that she could actually sing well, let alone very well. She thought that she was alot worse than everyone else. Now, compared to some people, she was not as good a singer, but to most, she could beat them any day in a competition of vocal performance. He had always known that Jaedon would never admit to having a weakness, but she had told him a few times that singing was her weakness, because she loved it so much, but really wasn't that good at it. He wished that he could show her how wrong she was. Maybe someday, someone that she really respected would pay her a compliment and then she would know that it was more than jsut one person who thought she sang well, it was two. When Neron spoke Damion had to bite back a really harsh comment that he had formulated rather quickly, a chance for revenge for all of the other times that Neron had said rather piercing things to him. He would save it for a time that was not light-hearted. "Indeed? Mindless beating, you say? I don't think that is quite the right description... What do you say Jaedon?" He looked to Jaedon and almost started laughing, but rather just allowed himself a huge grin. Apparently Neron's compliment had hit her unawares...
Jaedon had turned towards Neron to stare at him as he spoke. It was when he paid her the compliment that she completely lost every composed thought in her mind. Her mind scattered for something, anything... She continued to stare at him, her mouth dropped, and her cheeks began to turn a bright pink. She didn't really notice the blush until it came full bloom and she put her hand up to her cheek as she started to bite her lip. She then realized that she was still looking at Neron. She slowly looked down, quite abashed, her hand still in place. She tried to calm herself, but every attempt failed. "He actually liked my singing? Then all he must have heard is the last note. How could he be so cruel to me?! I know that he is playing at some game, why else would he pay a false compliment, he is too frank for that." When Damion asked his question she jerked her head up, she had hardly heard him. "What?" She was a little lost, but slowly catching up. She suddenly noticed that she was still holding her hand on her cheek and still biting her lower lip. She speedily jerked er hand away as though something were nipping at it, and she ceased to bite her lower lip. "Oh... Well... Perhaps mindless beating is not the right description..." She looked down at the floor as she studied the patterns there to hide her eyes from the boys. She remembered her conversation with Neron about the piano and smiled. She knew what he was hinting at, and so pointed her answer more towards him. She was still blushing and she knew it. "What a fool I am!" she thought. Out loud she spoke, "Perhaps designed banging." She played along with the joke. She couldn't stop her cheeks from staying aflame, for all of her efforts. She resorted to keeping her head down and staying nice and quiet. She knew that Neron was laughing at her. How could he not? She was so defenseless at the moment that it was almost pitiful. She crossed her legs, pulled her bright red skirt down over her knees, and pulled the long sleeves of her black sweater down over her arms. She was cold all of a sudden. Had she not had on shoes with buckles she probably would have tucked her legs up under her like usual, but her shoes prevented it. She sat an waited the stinging remark that was coming for her. She knew that it was not far away, for Neron had such a free chance to make fun of her. She tried to prepare herself, but she was so distracted that she failed again and again. "What a hopeless wreck..." she thought to herself.

Neron watched as Jaedon turned a bright pink, it reminded him of a rosebud blossoming. He just smiled crookedly at her before entering in the room. His feet took him toward one of the other chair across the room. The sunlight embraced him in its warm touch as it played in his raven black hair. It seemed to like to make his hair shine like polished ebony, a soft, radiant glow. He was wearing his usual all black and seemed almost like a shadow had sprung to life. It was strange, even though he almost always wore black or other dark hues, the fabric had such textures that it made you not even notice the lack of color.
Neron lifted the violin case and gently laid it on the chair like it was made of thin glass. His fingers traced the curved form before he turned once more. Jaedon had spoken. It seemed like she had collected herself but he couldn't help but smirk slightly at her deranged and frayed emotions, it was as if someone made her explode for a moment and she was frantically trying to gather up the pieces.
"Aye, I will give it that. Well chosen words Jaedon." He looked at Damion with a innocent smile and bowed mockingly. "Sir, your designed banging was exceptional as it comes." He winked at Jaedon. "Which, is supposed to be a compliment I suppose." He straightened up and motioned to the piano, "For you play the barbaric instrument as well as it can be."
Neron turned to his instrument wondering if he should reveal her or keep her in her case and leave the two in peace. "Nah, it's way to much fun here" He smirked once more and took another look at Jaedon. "I must say Jaedon, you seem to have a slight red glow, your face turns from pale to pale as quickly as she turns yellow to red." When he said she he motioned to his violin case. "And your skirt isn't helping you out at all." A smirk came to his face. She looked could, but he shrugged this off, when did he start caring for her? This gave him an idea. "Though I must say, you seem out of sorts, is it because you are sick, or is it because you are out of breath from your singing, or.. something else?" He was referring the something else to his catching her unaware. He didn't understand why this had caused her to stumble over herself, but he was thoroughly enjoying this moment.

Damion had had the feeling that there was an unseen joke passing between Neron and Jaedon. When Neron played his half-witted compliment Damion just nodded his head in slight acknowledgment. When Neron winked at Jaedon Damion had his previous hypothesis confirmed. "Perhaps this is one part of that ever so tiresome conversation that they had together... No doubt it was in this very room." he thought to himself. "Thanks for the vote of confidence Neron. I take it then that you regard your own instrument as quite the refined beauty. My worries come from whether or not you have the right to own it." Damion crossed his arms and stared at Neron with challenging eyes. They were not necessarily picking a fight, more like, playing on pride. He had learned a few things from Jaedon over the years. He remembered one time when Jaedon was helping him get rid of a rather aggravating pest. Damion had mentioned how smart the pest was and Jaedon had simply asked, "Does he know it?" Damion had replied yes. "Pride is a very good weakness. I like to use it." Damion had really preferred stupidity, but Jaedon had done her work remarkably well with pride.
Jaedon had seen Neron smiling at her... She felt absolutely humiliated. When he winked at her she started to recover a little faster. He was playing at the joke, she would play along as long as he wanted, as long as she didn't have to expose her face... And then it came. "You seem to have a slight red glow..." That was it, she knew she was finished. She should just leave now so that she wouldn't have to deal with this, but then he would only ridicule her more for being a coward. "Oh what a fine chess game this is, you've been set in a trap." she scolded herself. "And your skirt isn't helping you out at all." This was not that bad, but it gave her a slight escape. When the question came out Jaedon found her place for a comeback, the color died from her cheeks as her mind worked as quickly as ever before. She was tired of being quiet... "Oh, I think it is probably from the hot flashes that keep coming around. Funny, it seems that you are the cause of them... Or is it your head?" She spoke very calmly, pointed, but calm. She was about ready to let out some cannon fire. He was enjoying this too much. She could see it. She was not about to let him take all of his fun for free. "Or perhaps it was something else... Perhaps when you entered the room I couldn't help but think about some past times that you have entered or...left this room with the least amount of grace possible." She eyed him with sweet revenge in every look. "If you are going to make fun of me, little man, and my problems with composure at the moment, then I am gonna make fun of you, and your lack of everything poised." she thought as a twisted smile spread across her face. "All I have to do is make you start thinking about tripping or stumbling, and then no doubt it will happen. Or I can make it happen." Then out loud she said, "What was the cause for that, I wonder... Perhaps extreme exhaustion, dizziness, or even..." she paused as she let her smile turn into a grin. He had declared war, and she had declared it right back. "...Even natural carelessness?"
Damion had just sat and listened. These two were uncommonly cruel to each other. He was in amazement at how pointed and sharp some of Neron's remarks had been. He had meant them all in good charm, but Jaedon was on full attack now. She was regaining her footing from her bright red downfall. When she mentioned the "natural carelessness" Damion began to wonder if she was talking about his slightly seen difficulty with poise. He allowed himself a smile as he remembered some of the moments that he had seen Neron miss what he was wanting to catch, stumble in the process, and struggle with a chair when he himself had had no trouble moving it... Damion still gazed at Neron, waiting for the response. This was a battle that he was happy to stay out of.

Neron smirked slightly at Damion. "Oh, I have the right to own it." his eyes flickered with a sad shimmering before he shoved that aside. "At least I own my instrument of choice." He motioned to the schools piano, "Unlike someone." His eyes flashed to Damion and then out to the window. "As for my violin, she only has one master and that is me." It was true for some reason Neron and his instrument had a certain connection. No one could make his violin sing more than he could.
Neron listened to her remarks and his face darkened slightly. Her words cut him deep, deeper then she knew, or intended. He just gazed at her steadily as silence filled the air. His gaze was indecipherable, just like the one he had given her the day they had first met. He just stared. Many who had this gaze upon them would squirm and wriggle under it, which he was totally unaware of, he had no clue to the power of his gaze. Though Jaedon probably wasn't one to squirm under anything it would probably make her uncomfortable, even just a bit.
Turning his back to her he placed his hands on the clasps of the violin case. The sound of them unlocking reverberated around the room like gunshots. The violin was revealed and it seemed to glisten and shine like an unknown jewel. Many would be surprised by the gentleness Neron lifted the instrument, it was his love in a way. Releasing the violin from the case he unlocked the bow and moved toward the window. It was a large one in the middle of the room, back behind the piano by to the right of it, this way he wasn't getting closer to Jaedon, but rather moving away. as he walked his foot somehow tripped on itself. His whole body lurched for a moment before he caught himself. It didn't take long for him to straighten back out and keep going to the window. This time his voice broke the silence that had once more descended on the room. "Yes little girl."He shot back the term she had used on him. "You are right, I am not a creature or being of poise. In fact I would be surprised it you found a single drop of it in this carcass of mine." In stark contrast to what he said he lifted his violin on his shoulder. There before them he had a very regal and graceful pose, something that demanded justification and seemed to close the case itself on the matter of poise. It was intended to be a slap in the face for Jaedon, she knew the other side of him, she knew how he hated this form and how it was a constant trial for him. She also knew more of the other side of him than any other person besides Miriel. Before she could answer him back or do anything he put the bow to the strings. He wasn't focusing on a song or anything like that, but was rather tuning the instrument. To many the sound seemed perfectly in tune, but to Neron's sharp ears, the notes seemed awry. Gently and carefully, but with a steady and strong hand he turned the pegs. His eyes closed as he concentrated to the sound. Every note had to be pure every movement perfect. So there he stood, silhouetted by the sunlight, with the sound of the strings reflecting his mind, chaos. For the tune up is an instrument has no tact, no beauty in it, but is rather controlled chaos, and only through that chaos could beauty be born.

Damion nodded his consent. "Aye, I might not have my own instrument with me. I own a piano, just not this one. But at least I am never begrudged a tune on a piano by its owner, whereas someone who plays the violin, but doesn't own one will be far less likely to find someone that will allow them to play it with comfort. No one can tell me that me playing on a piano is harmful to it." When Neron opened the case that held his violin, Damion could just barely see it. It was truly the most glorious instrument that he had seen in a long time. Pianos were beautiful and all instruments held their own elegance, but his violin was one of the few instruments that Damion had seen that actually looked as though it had life and breath. I looked as though it was really a being that Damion could bond with. The cherry wood had a darkened look to it, fitting to Neron's appearance and character. Perhaps there truly was a bond between musician and instrument. He had seen such before. "She is very beautiful, I have to hand it to you. Very wise craftsman who made her shapely form." Damion paid his full respects for the violin, and its owner. "Perhaps you really do deserve such a gem."
Jaedon was also staring at Neron. He had had his fun, and she had cut it short. That was only because it was at her own expense and she was getting sick of it. Had it been something else, she would have done her best to keep them both entertained, but she was not going to let him get her for that long. Under his stare she did start to feel uncomfortable, but she soon pushed it aside. As his gaze seemed to burn into her skin, she just gazed back, defiant, her looks saying, "Get off me, Neron. That is enough." When he opened the violin case Jaedon did her best to not stare at it with longing. She bent her head to the music that she had just sung, studying it, looking for ways that she could improve. It was so hard for her not to admit how much she wanted to hold the violin again. She remembered the warm, sensual feeling that it had given her before, and she longed to be thus fulfilled, but her current battle with Neron made her deny herself the right to hold it. At least it was in range for her to see it. When he walked around the piano to the middle of the room, Jaedon's sight of the instrument was blocked by the piano. "That little rat, he did that on purpose." She thought spitefully. The look on her face was that of a five year old throwing a fit because he hadn't gotten his way. She puckered her lips, narrowed her eyes, and almost gave a huff of indignation, but stopped herself. Then she changed her facial features again, but this time to one that displayed disappointment and slight anger. "But her wouldn't have done that had you not shown him how much you wanted it. Even Damion probably could have seen you longing for it, even in those few glances. Had you kept yourself disciplined like you should have then he might still be standing in front of you." she continued with her argument inside herself as Neron started to tune his violin. "No, he wouldn't. He saw how much I adored it last time, why would my opinions have changed in only a few days. He did that to take revenge for what I said. I guess that I slightly deserve this, but it's not my fault he is a sore loser!" She got up from where she was sitting at the piano and walked over to the shelf to pick out another piece of music that she could start to work on. As she searched the shelf she began to hum a tune that her mother used to love to sing. It was "Witchcraft" by Frank Sinatra. Jaedon hated to admit it, but she was such a sucker for oldies. She hummed it really to herself, but she knew that Damion and probably Neron, if he stopped playing on the violin could hear it. She couldn't find a song to her liking and so, she just pulled out one that she had done before. As she looked back over it, she walked to the piano and sat down facing the keys. She didn't look to Neron or Damion, she ignored them both, or at least, that is what she wanted them to think.

"Yes, unlike pianos, violins are special to the owner. Once they get to know their instrument they rarely want to try another. But if they must they will adjust until they can return to their favorite." Neron looked at his instrument lovingly as Damion complimented his instrument. If you ever wanted to get on Neron's good side, just give a compliment to his instrument. "Aye....she is a beauty unlike any other...The person whose hands carved her and gave her shape was one of my dearest friends. He let me be the first to let her speak, he gave me that honor and since then this beauty and I have been almost inseparable." His green eyes grew distant, "Though I never did anything to deserve her....she was a gift, no not a gift, a medicine. A soothing tonic on a stormy soul, you must understand, you yourself are a musician." He addressed Damion before he went back to tuning his instrument.
The air between Jaedon and him seemed very tense and dark, she was brooding and pouting. Neron didn't even need to look at her to know it. But he concentrated on his instrument. "a little more to the right.... ah!" He looked at his violin with pleasure. She was tuned and ready. But as he tried to think of something to play or do with her he couldn't. The emotion radiating from Jaedon was to much to settle his mind. Bringing his bow sharply across the string a loud ring sliced through the air. Neron turned sharply on his heels and looked at Jaedon. "It seem you have lost the bloom of pink that resided on your cheeks, what a shame I was beginning to like it. Plus now you have the most dreadful air about you right now. It is unsettling, she doesn't like it and I don't." He had not intentionally hidden the violin from view or anything, he just found the area around the piano to stifling, to close. He hated being close it made him extremely nervous and one thing you couldn't be while playing the violin was nervous. His eyes narrowed as he recognized the tune that she was singing, "What are you humming?" Neron wasn't tricked by her pretending to ignore him, he knew that every sense of hers was longing for his instrument, though this time he didn't think he would give in.

Damion laughed slightly at Neron's comment. "Yes, there were times in past years that I feared that I would go insane. That is what drove me to learn the piano. I know many other instruments, but with this one I am the best. The flute I can bond with, but it seems a little too high pitched for me on certain occasions. The cello is pleasing enough, but hard to take with you, and not every one has one of those. A violin would be nice, but the only one that I own needs some very exaggerated work done on it. In the end, the only instrument that I was able to bring with me was my guitar. You are lucky, Neron, to have your beloved instrument right by you, whenever you need it. Sometimes I must suffice myself with records and cd's." He shook his head in disappointment. "It's bloody awful, but there is nothing to help it."
Jaedon didn't care about what the two guys were saying. She was still pouting in her own way, trying to find some way to escape. She had considered running out of the room so many times, but that was ridiculous. She knew that something was wrong with Neron though, when she heard the sharp note come flying out of the violin as he pulled to bow across the stings. Something was keeping him from playing. "It seem you have lost the bloom of pink that resided on your cheeks, what a shame I was beginning to like it." She almost stomped her foot on the ground when he said that. "Then I am glad that it is gone, you spiteful and hateful man!"she screamed at him in her mind. "Serves you right if you truly were starting to like it." She stayed facing the bookshelf, crossed her arm, and cocked her hip as he continued. "Plus now you have the most dreadful air about you right now. It is unsettling, she doesn't like it and I don't." She smiled. It wasn't just anything keeping Neron from playing... She was keeping him from playing. Perhaps she would stay like this, just so that she could get under his skin. Oh how much fun that would be...but she hated to admit that she wanted to hear the violin sing. "Maybe I will only lighten a little, just so much that he will play, and then I can go back to being a storm cloud after he is done. Yes... That will do very nicely." Use him now... Throw him away later, as according to her usual custom. She continued to hum, a little louder now, maybe just to annoy him. When he asked what she was singing she stopped humming, turned her head a little, and gave him a side-glance from wicked green eyes that seemed to laugh. From the angle that she was standing, it would have seemed that there was only green in her eyes...Green and black. Her hair shielded most of her face from view, except for her eyes and mouth. Her lips curved slightly, not into a smile, but a very deceitful look that seemed to mirror that of a snake before it bites. "Frank Sinatra..." she talked rather quietly, audibly but quietly. Then the shape of a smile spread across her face as she named the song, in all of the irony. "...Witchcraft."
Damion had been watching Jaedon. Her disposition towards Neron had taken quite a few shifts since he had walked into the room. What a sight to see... These two really were quite the little feuding frenzy. Had Damion known no better he might have thought that they were related...or something to that effect, the way that they shot at each other. As he continued to watch Jaedon he couldn't help but think, "As much as I have found reason to dislike this guy, he seems to be one of the only people capable of handling your, 'witchcraft'. I am starting to think you two were made for each other." As he saw the cruelty that was emitting from Jaedon at the moment, her wicked smile, how she reveled in slighting Neron even the smallest bit. "Yes, I think you mirror each other like kindred spirits." Her cruelty was like that which Neron had within him... ultimate evil. He just hoped that Jaedon hadn't been listening to his thoughts, because she would become angry... Maybe she was a little too preoccupied to be doing that...

Neron was impressed by how many instruments Damion had mastered, it truly was astounding. Even though Neron could fiddle upon the piano a bit, he had never been able to bond with it. Plus he wasn't the the person that fiddles around with one thing then another, whatever his puts his mind to usually get accomplished. Personally he liked being the master of one instrument the the "Jack-all-trades" Yet he couldn't help admire Damion for his talent. "Well then you have quite the talent for the musical arts. I never have really tried any other instrument besides the piano and the violin. Once I tried the Violin I couldn't give my attention to any other instrument it stole my heart away." He smiled down at his violin.
His gaze turned to Jaedon as she pulled a little two year old tantrum. Neron's eyebrow raised in amusement, what was going on here? It certainly made his respect for Jaedon go down a bit. When she told him the song Neron just smirked. "Well..." His eyes glided over her figure, "That is quite a fitting song." That's all he said to her before turning his back to her. It was interesting to him, for the first time him and Damion had actually said some words without trying to kill each other and now Neron was starting to think that Damion wasn't so bad after all. Perhaps a bit lost sometimes, but not to bad. Plus if things ever got to boring you could always tease him for entertainment.

Damion was about to blush from Neron's comment. He gave them rarely and so they were much more worth fighting for. "I don't know if I have a talent, but rather a love and a will to learn. I also have the advantage of a few extra years of practice on you Neron, I am quite sure of that. I never really had one instrument steal me away, I just had music steal me away." Damion liked this conversation, it was relaxed and very laid back, and for once, Neron was behaving at least towards Damion. Perhaps this was one fire wielder that heouldtolerate. Few peopleknew just how much he hated fire wielders, and ow much fire had hurt him in te past. Jaedon was one of the few and she was not someone that couldreally help him with that fear, just shield him from it.
Jaedon finally pulled herself together when she heard Neron. He was becoming a little sharper, and her attentions were yelling, "Pull it together and fight. You can't let him win this one too." She looked back to him with a calm and composed face only to behold his backside. She walked over to the piano and at down next to Damion. "I know." she said evenly. "I picked it simply because it fits me perfectly." Then she looked to the keys of the piano. "But you know Neron, the more that you hang around a witch, the easier it becomes for her to have fun with you. You better watch out, because you never know what a witch has in store, never know what she might infect. Oh wait..." Jaedon just smiled. "I've forgotten. You're already infected. What a splendid way to spoil some good fun!" she made a mock sad face and had a mockingly disappointed tone.
Damion just listened to Jaedon...that cheeky little thing. They were both being rather cheek towards each other, but if he wasn't careful it was going to get violent. Jaedon and Neron both had a nasty tendency to blow up at each other, and to blow up with little provocation. "If they don't calm down soon then I am gonna have to intervene..." he looked at Jaedon who was innocently gazing to Neron. She looked like a kid in a candy store trying to beg for something that she knew she shouldn't have. What if she was trying to make him angry, so that he would regret it later...? "She wouldn't... would she?!" he looked at her with huge and marveling eye. "No...Oh no..." was all that he could think. "What am I gonna do to stop her?"

Neron green eyes widened slightly. How old was Damion? He had never really thought of that before, sure he had white hair but he had always put that off to his ice powers. Perhaps it was, or perhaps it wasn't. But then again if he already mastered multiple instruments, it had to have taken a while. The side of Neron's face twitched slightly. "Well then you should try the violin, get yours fixed up and it will release the deepest part of you, and will sooth over anything that troubles you. " The violin dropped off his shoulder as he reached out with his free hand to touch the smooth surface. It seemed to light up at his touch. "And to have a bond with something like an instrument is like nothing else."
He didn't even bother to turn to Jaedon, he just listened to her. "Yes, I suppose I am infected by you, but I'm sure this disease won't last to long. Perhaps I should start seeing you less and less. To bad, I will miss your company in the band room when I let my Violin sing...." an evil smile came on his visage, "What a shame. I guess I would have disappointed you in two places, ruining your fun by knowing of your infection and by never letting you touch my instrument again." He walked over to the case of the violin and opened it. Sliding the instrument into its "velvet bed" he shut the case with a snap and locked it. "What a shame...." He repeated again.

Damion decided that it was time to smooth things out. "Jaedon, darling, could you bring me one of those music scores over there? They are on the bottom shelf to the left hand side. Just pick one, because I don't really care." He was getting tired of Jaedon and Neron having their little war, and Jaedon had completely snuffed out Neron's will to play his instrument, and Damion had been looking forward to it. Even though he was a little sour about that, he was okay. Maybe he would request a private concert later. It had been a long time since he had heard someone lay the violin very well, and he was sure that Nero would not be one to disappoint. He turned to the piano and started to play a sweet little intro. "Perhaps I will take your advice in the near future Neron, I have been needing a new hobby lately, as though going back to school weren't entertaining enough." Then,to make sure that Neron didn't feel like he needed to leave, he motioned to Neron's case with one hand and spoke quietly, "Why let Jaedon ruin the fun? She has been sour all day. I swear that she is in one of her moods. I am dying to hear you make that beautiful little girl sing. If nothing else, just provide ourself and I some satisfaction, leave Jaedon out of the picture for now." As he continued to play he raised the most important question, "I am sure that I really don't need to ask, but you do read music don't you?"
Jaedon narrowed her eyes at Damion. What a spoil-sport goody two shoes. Ruining all of the fun that she could have had. She turned on her heel and walked over to the shelf. After randomly pulling out a piece of music and handing it to Damion she walked over to one of the big fluffy chairs, laid her head back, and just closed her eye, allowing herself to go away. She shut everything down, and left big fat nothing in her thoughts. Time seemed to stop now. She was not fighting with Neron anymore, and Damion was playing the piano very sweetly. She didn't care to look at either of them, for she was sour with both now.One for ruining her fun,and the other for stealing her joy. Either way,she wanted to leave now, she wanted to be alone.

Neron listened to Damion's plea for the violin to be played after he had tried to smooth over the quarrel between Jaedon and him. His gaze lingered over his case then turned to Jaedon sitting in the chair. Why should he make her ruin his fun? Damion was right, he shouldn't and so an idea formulated in his mind. "Yes, I do know how to read music, though I'm not restricted to it. Neron listened to the music Damion was playing it was soothing, very peaceful. Neron sighed and waited for him to finish. As soon as the last note was played and the music came to an end Neron nodded to Damion. He would get his wish.
Neron strode over to his instrument and soon enough the jewel was out of it's case and in his hands. He stood there for a moment, searching through his memory bank for a certain song. His black head bowed slightly as he searched within him, it needed to be intament, something soaring and beautiful. Minutes passed without him knowing it. But then as if someone had hit the one switch Neron's right hand placed the bow onto the strings.
Music seemed to come flowing from the instrument in a rich tone, the low notes brought you into a reflective mood as the vibrato gave it a light air. The violin seemed to snatch your thoughts from you and demand your attention. IT reminded you of spring, of the beauty of the year, yet it also reminded you of autumn when things were at an end. Yet as soon as it was at its height, when it seemed like you were just about to be taken into heaven by it's sweet voice, the violin ceased to sound. It's voice was cut off. This was a rude and abrupt ending to the song that still had pages and pages left and as soon as you opened your eyes in shock the violin was already tucked away in its case and Neron was heading out the door. He paused at the door, his eyes lingered at Damion, "I hope you enjoyed this snippet." Then they coldly rested on Jaedon, no response came from his mouth but that look seemed to say, "I'm disappointed in you"

Jaedon hadn't really been listening to the music. She was far to gone in her own thoughts. Her bad mood had been caused by a few variant factors. The dominant one was a meeting that she had had earlier that morning around 2 o'clock. She was very angry from that meeting and had come here for the simple purpose of calming down, but yet again, she failed, and Neron had seemed to be the main reason. He had ruined her happy time. Even though they could have existed rather peacefully, Jaedon was feeling contraversial. She just wasn't in the mood for his rude, cheeky self to interrupt, and so she had done her best to spoil everything. She knew that she looked like she was throwing a fit, but she was really just trying to keep herself from blowing up. Her nerves had been severed and she was not very composed. She would apologize to Damion and Neron later, but at the moment she just wanted to get away. When Neron cut his music short Jaedon practically blew a gasket. Just because he wanted to be cruel to her, he didn't have to ruin Damions fun. She couldn't even look at him she was so mad. She was having trouble keeping her skin on,and so she needed to escape. She kept her head slightly bent, hair hanging in front of her face which wastaking on a slightly black hue. Her eyes just stared straight ahead as she strode what appeared to be calmly out of the room, passing quietly by Neron as she walked out the door. She could feel warmth come from his body as she passed by, but where that might have unnerved her in other circumstances, she just ignored it witheverything in her. She was sick of being here in this room, and always getting intofights. Better to goto Library, no,to her room.
Damion watched Jaedon go and heaved a large sigh. "I don't know what the devil has gotten into that girl but she is tragically hopeless. I have been trying to pry the cause of her distress out of her thewhole morning, bu she fails to reveal anything. She's like a turtle in its shell. Sorry about it Neron, and I really appreciate you playing... I am afraid that this fine day has at least one very large rain cloud, and it is right in this school." He closedthe lid over the keys of the piano, and rose from his seat to leave the room,as the rest had done.
