So... What's General Information?

for all of you who are asking this question, let me answer it for you! general information is just the few, quick details about the site that you might want to know about if you're going to be spending some here in the future. within this thread, there are some of our fun games, events, and site rituals - all explained so you don't feel so confused. you don't really have to read this stuff, but it would be nice to skim, yeah? you might learn about some of the fun stuff that we do around here!

Features...

-Site Store - earn points to get yourself some cool charie powers and tweaks!
-The Livechat and Cbox - places to talk! livechat even has mini chat windows for private two-person talks
-The C-Post - a place to learn what's happening In Character around the site. it has monthly updates so you can see what other members are doing for roleplay around here
-OTM's - yup! got em
-Events - admin hosted threads that further the storyline of the site! the welcome table has links to all the current events.
-Quests - these are little OOC "games" or "journeys" you must go on to find the prize! the site has a hidden Questery board and a little secret Quester's Guild for those of you that like to look for clues to earn cool stuff!

In Character Info

• Mythical Powers and Magic
  mythical powers are just as they are described in the races list. you may have one major power and several minor powers, and the powers must be attributed to your race and not "added in there" just because you think it would be cool. if you want to add cool powers, go buy some at the store! as for magic, we usually allow you to have master level in one aspect of magic (necromancy, light magic, water magic, etc) and minor level in several others. you may not "Scattershot" or minor/master in all aspects of magic unless you are specifically a magician character and that's your major power.
  
  
• npc's and canons
  NPC's are the characters that frequent places like Colleger Town and CA Castle, but aren't specifically played by anyone (example=any of the vampire shopkeepers in Colleger) You may use these characters in role play, but please keep within their personalities and abilities. anyone may play NPC's, and you cannot adopt them. canons are our already made characters, and are special and usually powerful. we do not give them out to anyone by selling or pawning them off. the only way you may be a canon is by proving to the site that you have earned one. then you may be awarded one, or you may ask for one. other than that, here are a few names you should know:
  
  
  • Professor Daniel Crane:(admin controlled) school administrator and founder. See bio for more information.
    
  • Mike The Keeper:(playable NPC in detention only) the British-accented detention spider and Crane's aid in running things. Watch out, he bites!
    
  • Sir Cornelius Perilous White: (admin controlled) the re-founder of Colleger Town. See bio for more information.
  
  
  
• The "Never" List
  So this bears a bit of explaining >.> on our site, certain characters have acquired "reputations" so to speak, about the threads they are in. some are odd, and others just plain dangerous; but they're all well-known and beloved characters on our site. we put this list together as a joke and tribute to them, and it might be wise to read it! and who knows, maybe some day your character will get on the "never list"!
  
  NEVER...
  -never go out at night in Chimera Academy
  -never go out at night in Colleger Town
  -Never rp with Moss if you don't want to be "deflowered" and even if you don't have a flower, you should still be wary
  -never rp with Coyle if you want to live!
  -never rp with Hendrix if your charie is female, and if you must, then stay near people!
  -never rp with chaos if your charie is male
  -never cheat on a dragon's girlfriend unless you want to sell your soul to Coyle to keep from getting gored
  -never trust the Russian >.>
