Chase walked over to the area he put his gun down and mumbled the same word and then his full name Chase Hiro Apothethy he bent down and touched the ground were he had laid the gun. The gun appeared as its normal shape and form. He picked it up and brought it to shade with it pointing down at the ground, he handed it to her. Chase then said "be careful it doesn't have child lock on it." Chase then said "now do you believe me?"

"No" Shade said. "I don't trust cats" Shade tightened her grip on the gun before taking out the bullets and shoving both the bullets and the gun in a deep side pocket in her cloak. "I will give it back later, we have a while to go" and with that Shade stuck her hand in her pocket to be sure the gun was still there before turning back to the trail in such a rush that the tail of her cloak whipped Chase and her hood nearly fell off.

Chase said " Why don't you trust me It was just being describe. My gun Is very delicate and you probably just burned your fingernail. I told you it doesn't like anybody else trying to work with it. She will hurt anybody if they are not me. O...crud did I just say that. Chase went in front of her and grabbed her and to make sure it was okay.

David came up behind Chase and laid a heavy hand on his shoulder and grabbed the other hand that had snatched Shade's hand out of her pocket. "I woulnd't do that if I were you" David warned "She dosn't like to be touched" and true to the clame Shade's eyes had abtained a deep red glare. David stood behind Chase holding him still by the one hand he had on Chase's shoulder. "what are you doing in this part of the forest? only SHade knows the way here."

Chase looked out of the corner of his eye to see a guy standing behind him. Chase answered to him "um...I....was invited to meet somebody he that could help me find somebody." Chase didn't have his contacts in because he forgot about them so now his eyes are yellow. Chase was scared that the person behind him was going to smell that he was part cat and tear him to pieces. Chase looked back at Shade with a scared face like was this a trap or is he going to kill me look.

At the look on Chase's face Shade laughed "There is nohing to be afraid of this is who we came to meet and David you can let go he wasnt going to hurt me!" Shade moved forward and pushed one of David's hands of Chase's shoulder and pried the other of his arm. "Don't worry about David he is just a big softie in a giants skin" Shade said gesturing towards Davids highly muscular torso and thick arms. "And don't worry about your eyes we both know what you are......it's not that hard to smell it on you! Which is precisly what we were counting on!" Shade rumaged through her pocket and withdrew a long knife engraved with pictures of chimeras and wolfs. The wolfs look remarkibly like Shade. Shade showed the knife to Chase while she was holding the tip of the blade. "This is a hunters knife we carry it for good luck when we hunt" Shade explained "Force of tradition." Shade handed the highly ornamentle black blade to David and continued to explain. "David, CHase here wants us to find his family if we can and I trust him but it's mostly up to you."

David took a step away from Chase not wanting to scare him and walked around till he was standing beside Shade who he pecked quickly on the cheek with a kiss. " I will do it for him if you trust him enough." David shifted from foot to foot on the soft ground till he spoke up in the silence "Why were you grabbing her hand?"

"It was because she touched my gun and my gun is very sensitive so it will burn anybody that is not me or my blood but mostly not me. I wanted to make sure her hand wasn't burned. Don't worry I don't like her like that or anything."

David grabbed Shade's hand protectivly not sure what to think of this new comer. "How long has it been since youve seen your family?" asked David getting right down to buissness as he sat on a large hidden stump and motioned for th others to join him in what was a large circle of brutly chopped trees.

Chase walked over to where he wanted them near the tree stumps and stood there uncomfortable to sit he answered "I have seem them sense twelve years ago."

"Hmmmmm" mumbled david while he was thinking. "That will be very hard to track but not impossible." David looked up and saw that Chase was standing. " You can sit were not going to eat you" David stood up and started pacingnow in deep thought as light morning drizzle began to land on his short black hair making it sparkle in the full moon."How long have you guys been out here any way?" David asked directing his queston to Shade.

" A couple hours at least" replied Shade as she crossed the small clearing that was strewn in leaves grabbed David by his large arm and led him back towards his stump were he sat down. "You are bothering me with your pacing" Shade explained crossing the slearing again to take a seat on a stump directly across from David.

Chase finally sat down on a tree stump after two minutes David sat down. Chase then stood up again and started pacing because he just remembered that he had no clothes from when he was little so he had nothing for them to smell to find his family.

Shade sieghed as she watched David thinking hard about who knows what and Chase pasing endlessly. Shade let out a peicing whilstle making both the boys jump in fright. She bent down in the dirt and dug out sevral large grubs and worms before sitting up again scanning the sky. Shade stood up dumping the bugs she had dug up on the stump were she had been sitting and walked into the middle of the clearing. SHe looked up again before mumbling "Well I don't think I need this any more". Shade pulled her hood off revealing two large fluffy dog ears. Finnaly what SHade had been waiting for arrived. Shade held out her arm and somthing swooped down from the sky. A large eagle now perched on Shade's arm it's black beetle like eys glinting as it looked hopfully at the pile of grubs. Shade scooped the bugs up in one motion and fed them one at a time to the black eagle who clicked her beak thankfully between each bug. "Her name is Alerio, we have a telepathic connection" explained Shade. "Did your family have any pets when you lived with them?" Shade was only trying to buy time and help Chase relax while David was still deap in his thoughts.

David looked up at Shade a gazed from Shade to Alerio who was still eating grubs to Chase who was still pacing. His eyes slightly glazed David stood up, sniffed the air like a dog then turned to Shade who had just pushed a large fat worm into Alerio's beak and said "Use Alerio to contact me". David turned to Chase and said "It won't be long". David then walked off into the under brush and quickly disapeard, his foot steps muffled by the leaves on the forest floor.
