Vincent then began to laugh lightly at the young woman's words, "that is fine with me, you may try to kill me if you want as i said i leave the rules up to you" he then looked up at the sky. "So if you want you can make the goal of the match to kill each other.... though i must said i would not like going for death" he then moved his eyes back to the young women and gave her a smile. "Beside it would be such a waste if something were to happen to such a beautiful young lady" he then started to laugh again, "so Miss Erzbet Bathry what are your rules for our match?" he then reached into his pocket and pulled out a sucker opening it he then began to chew on it. "Would you like one" he asked erzbet as he pulled a second sucker from his pocket attempting to hand it to her, "so what do you say will you try to kill me as well cause i must worn you now that killing me wont be any easy task i am quite stubborn when it comes to my life" he then started to laugh again.
After a few moments he stopped laughing and looked at the young women with a smile as he waited for her to set the rules for the match.

Beautiful young lady? Was he trying to flatter her or speaking fact? Young men were so difficult to figure out. Erzbet shook her head as he brought out the sucker. She hated sugar. The smell, the artificial taste, it was just awful. She thought about the rules. This wasn't the jungle, so fighting to the death wasn't necessary. She could, like the others, say they couldn't use magic. Afterall, she didn't use magic. It was no harm to her. She thought for a moment longer, making sure her thoughts were on order, before speaking. "First person to securely pin the other to the ground wins. Changing forms is allowed, but no extra magic." She looked at him, wondering what he would think. Did he like these rules? Did they give him an advantage? A disadvantage? She realized she didn't even know what he was. This fight was going to be very interesting indeed.

Vincent laughed as he opened the second sucker placing it in his mouth, as he listened to the girls choice in rules he smiled and looked at her. "I have no problem with those rules, though again i feel i should worn you that if your not careful you may be shocked" as he said that he began to laugh again. After a moment he stopped laughing and gave the girl a smile and a wink, "i will give you the first move Erzbet" as he said that his posture changed from a relaxed easy going to a heightened sense of awareness. Vincent then bowed once more after which he then took his stance placing his right foot out to the front of him and using his left to hold most of his weight. He placed his right hand at about mid chest level and the left was slightly below his waist. "Please go easy on me i am a little out of practice" he said in a almost joking voice as he then waited to see how the young woman would react.

Erzbet noticed the change in his posture almost instantly. The relaxed carefree boy was gone, replaced by a warrior. He knew what he was talking about. You may be shocked? She allowed herself a small smile. Go easy on me? Was he joking? Whether he was or not, she had no intentions of holding back. It had been far too long since the last time she'd fought. She crouched low to the ground, making herself a harder target. She could feel her teeth growing. Her golden eyes flashed a bright yellow. Part of her wanted to shed the human skin immediately and fight as a panther. But she decided that would be her special surprise. For now she contented herself with abnormally long teeth and nails, though they were frustratingly fragile compared to a panther. She lunged at him, then twirled around him at the last moment, so she was behind him. Her gracefulness made it look like some sort of strange dance. "Your turn." She said quietly.

Vincent let a small chuckle out as he watched the girl move, she was now behind him "my move huh" he said as he moved his eye over his shoulder towards the girl. "I feel should warn you, dont make it a point to hit me in the face" as he said that he jumped forward with some speed to match the young woman. He landed about 10 feet away and turned to face the young woman, "i will only use about half of my full strength in this form" he said to the young women as he then reached into his sleeve and pulled out a pair of short swords. After he pulled the two blades he launched at the young woman in a lowered stance like she had used, the blade of his right sword almost dragging the ground behind him and his left sword was held in front of him but across his body not pointed at the young woman. Vincent made his speed match that which she used when moving behind him, as he reached her he then swung his left sword for her right leg. Vincent then quickly followed that move up by swinging his right sword for the girls right arm, though he flipped the blades of his swords so that even if they hit they would not cut only cause blunt damage. Though he swung them with enough force to possibly break a limb if they were block improperly.

Erzbet hated weaponry. It seemed like cheating. If you weren't strong enough on your own, then you simply shouldn't fight. Adding metal to the battle wasn't intimidating. It was giving you an unfair advantage. She watched as he came at her, mind calculating. He came at her right side. She twirled again to the left and around him, this time kicking at the back of his right knee. She jumped back, mindful of the swords in his hands. She would have to settle for the strength in this skin for now. At the moment all she planned to do was keep evading till he was exhausted. Though she didn't know how long that would take. If nothing else, she would have more energy than him when she attacked.

Cassiel looked back, the two new comers were sparring against themselves. He noted the boys swords, he waited til the boy swung with he blunt side of the sword til he moved. He stood behind the boy, looming over him with a stone emotionless face. Shooting his hands to the boys swords he clasped them both and pulled them from his hands with a tug. He moved again to the shade and the tree close by, he stuck the swords in the ground along with his own long sword right in front of him. He spoke loudly and with silent authority
"Sparring is hand to hand combat, no weapons are to be used in an offensive manner." He stopped and looked at them both and spoke again in his hard and almost deadly calm voice.
"Accidents happen and people get injured, safety is a key in sparring. Knowing when to much is to much and when too little can leave you exposed, carry on."He spoke his last words with finality, he knew the swords were an advantage to the boy. Any weapon is an advantage in an fight, he knew better than to use his own against Reynard but he did use it in defense.
He had used his magic to heal himself as well, but not to harm Reynard. Cassiel smiled inwardly keeping his face plain, he was always good at finding a loophole but never to win a battle or a sparring match. He eyed the two not to far from himself, he knew the boy would have to change without his swords. He wondered if that would make the spar any better, he knew he had evened the odds but he wondered if the girl would have learned better with he swords. He pondered that to himself, as he watched the girl and the boy.

Reynard could do nothing but watch as Cassiel moved faster then he ever had before. One second Cassiel was standing across the field from him the next Cassiel was gone.
Reynard whirled around expecting to see Cassiel behind him. However no one was there. It took Reynard a couple of seconds to realize that Cassiel hadn't gone to him but to the other sparring match. Cassiel had apparently told the boy not to use his sword, which Reynard thought made sense since it was too easy to make a mistake and kill somebody with a weapon.
Reynard stayed in his crouched position just in case Cassiel were to suddenly attack him. The last thing he wanted to to was leave himself open.

As Cassiel walked from the boys weapons he had dug into the ground, he grabbed his own and sheathed it at his side. He put an illusion over the sword at his side so it could not be felt or seen, he walked back to the plains were Reynard the Kludde was standing 30 so yards away. He spoke immediately entering the sparring zone
"We begin now." He moved fast, almost impossible to track had he used his wings. He sprinted to Reynard, just before he got into striking distance he spun on his left foot putting him to right side of Reynard, with the momentum from the spin and the gained momentum from his sprint he put much more force than he would have liked into the kick. He spun right swinging his right leg out and back aiming for the Kluddes ribs, he had slowed his movements to marginal standards not to fast that Reynard couldn't watch him move.
The whole point of the lesson was to teach him defense from a striking opponent, he watched Reynard as he moved. He figured after the first match he would learn where to move and what to do, his eyes stayed cold and judgemental as he watched he would not let the boy make a mistake this time.

Reynard watched as Cassiel not only took the other boy's weapons but buried them in the ground. He had to admit he was impressed at Cassiel's ruthlessness. Cassiel didn't just remove the weapons from the match but made it hard to retrieve them as well.
Reynard stayed in his defensive position as Cassiel walked back towards him indicating that he was about to attack. Reynard kept his eyes on Cassiel watching for his next move. The next thing he knew Cassiel turned into a blur. The blur resolved itself right in front of Reynard spinning around for a kick.
Luckily for Reynard he was already crouched so he was able to slide under the kick. However Reynard still hadn't recovered his balance when the second kick came his way. Reynard desperately threw his wings out gaining enough momentum to get his body out of the kicks path. He had however forgotten that now his wing was now in the way and it received a glancing blow to its edge.
Reynard winced and brought himself back up into his defensive position keeping his wings between him and Cassiel.

Cassiel felt his foot hit his wing, but only clip the edge. He could see the red mark it had left on his body, he knew the wings could be more dangerous than the claws the boy had. He kicked forward then, shooting his body out to Reynard. He pulled his arm back to take a swing, he swung but missed purposely, as he spun left his left foot went reeling out viciously. He had increased his speed a little more sense Reynard had dodged his last kick, he could tell the Kludde was learning a lot faster than he expected.
He would continue to increase until he knew that Reynard had reached his limit. The kick was faster, enough to notice that they were increasing in velocity. He aimed over the right wing of Reynard's Kludde form, the kick would end up over his wing and coming back down heel first into the back of his neck. The shot was hard but Cassiel had never really fought a Kludde, he was experienced with were-wolfes, vampires, other angels, dragons, he knew and had fought man different types of creatures from hell.
The Kludde wasnt an evil creature though, he had seen none in any battles against hell. He figured he would start to keep a journal of everything he fought and knew of here, some creatures he had seen had been something he had never witnessed. He thought about all of this as he swung, forgetting the fight completely but still working as if on auto-pilot. He wasnt worried about being hurt or having to much difficulty if something harder than the Kludde came along, he flicked through his thoughts mindlessly keeping a small tab on the fight as he started to mentally scribe the creatures he had seen so far.

Reynard noticed that Cassiel had sped up the second he started moving. Reynard knew that he wouldn't be able to keep up at that speed. He desperately tried to defend against Cassiel's kick but didn't manage to lift his wings in time. Pain blossomed from his neck and Reynard's whole body was thrown downward from the force of the blow. Only the Kludde's sturdy build kept his neck from snapping.
Reynard blacked out for a second as his body hit the ground. After a couple of seconds he slowly stood back up for the next attack. He refused to give in. Even if his body was pounded into oblivion he would continue this until he could satisfactorily block Cassiel.

Naki had been walking around the seemingly abandoned courtyard when her heightened sense of hearing caught some very familiar sounds. The unmistakable sounds of a scuffle.Naki, of course being the curious creature she was, stepped up the pace of her stride and paused for a moment at the scene. A Kludde had just been basically kicked into the ground and she watched him as he struggled to get up. She denied her feelings of pity as she watched, wondering why he would keep going after that attack. She walked up beside him, ready to catch him if he fell. Dark navy hair fell freely down her back as her light blue eyes flickered occasionally to his opponent, ready to spring away if needed.
"Hey, are you alright ?"

Cassiel's kick had connected, Reynard had been to slow to stop the kick. Cassiel stood back as he watched Reynard struggle to get back up, the kick had sent him into the ground with some force. He watched him struggle, getting up slowly.
Cassiel couldnt help but smile at he boys determination, the boys feelings fell from him like a veil. His aura still flowing with energy, Cassiel noted another presence entering the feild. He didnt need to look, he spoke as the aura of the newcomer came closer
"Take a break Reynard. He spoke softly, a girl came into veiw then. She spoke, staying beside Reynard. Cassiel watched them silently, he looked at Reynard. Speaking flatly he said
"Come closer Reynard and I will help you." His expression was soft, caring as he reached a hand out. His hand was letting a soft light seep from his palm, he held his hand out palm first to Reynard. The light spread in front of his hand waiting for the Kludde to enter its healing light, Cassiel nodded in a silent go ahead. His hand stood out-stretched, he spoke as the light fell from his fingers
"What is your name child?" he spoke to the girl without looking at her, her presense was strong. He watched as their aura's almost melded together, he knew then that the girl was a Kludde like Reynard. He noted that then, waiting for Reynard to step under the healing light.

Reynard examined the young lady who had asked him if he was alright. She appeared to be looking at him slightly pityingly obviously not realizing that this was his choice.
Just to reassure her he said, "Don't worry I will be fine. Cassiel over there is training me." Now at least she wouldn't think that he was just in a random brawl.
Reynard sighed in releif when Cassiel said he could have a rest. He sorely needed it. Then Cassiel put out his hand and the same golden light that he had used earlier to heal his wounds appeared. Reynard hesitated for a second wondering if accepting the healing would make him appear weak but quickly changed his mind when he realized just how beat up his body was. He stepped into the golden light and felt its warmth spread through him.
